Amazing. Full stop, I can’t say enough positive things about this resort, its staff, its location - just superb. Location: gorgeous Costa Adeje. Right on the boundary between Fanabe and Duque. Easier to swim in former as it is right down the stairs with a private access. The area of Fanabe feels private there as quiter. Duque is a 10 min walk until swimmable area. Duque has maybe prettier water but rip currents. You can walk both beaches. Fanabe leads you towards Torviscos beach. Duque side is more upscale and if you walk further, you get to black volcanic sand beach, which is really cool. Hotel itself does not have chairs for the beach, as that part of Fanabe has little sand space, depending on the tide, so hard to get a chair, but you can take towels down there. Water is wonderful and just a lovely swim. Resort itself: Gorgeous, well designed, well thought out, very secure and safe. Can’t get in past reception without a key. So need a key to get in and out of the beach. Each building is named after Italian operas ( I think ? Carmen, Buuterfly, Aida) and each restaurant after Greek mythology ( Zeus, Poseidon) , well not all of them but half. Resort also has an all adult resort, that looks super chic. Rooms are large and comfortable and super clean. In fact, the whole resort is pristine. Cleaning stuff is amazing. Balcony in each room and has a railing to dry towels and swim suits. Each floor elevator has a filtered water station where you can fill your water bottles, so that is really good for environment and for general convenience. Resort has a decent gym, except it is kind of open air so gets hot. There is a spa, tennis and paddle courts, ping pong tables, pool tables, etc. Very large salt water pool, where there is a bar and a nearby Italian restaurant. There is a quieter heated pool. But if you want water aerobics and proximity to then beach, then stick to the salt water one. There is a kiddo pool there as well. Tons of activities in the salt water pool all day long. Water aquatics is fun and takes place every noon. Drinks are serviceable and staff keeps bringing around freebies, such as chips, nuts, iced coffee, ice cream even! Get there early to get your chairs! And can get towels only when you give them your towel keys. Each person has one key. Depends whom you have working the booth, they don’t want to give out more than one towel per person. Restaurants: We opted to dine out for lunch and dinner so only had lunch once at the resort but had breakfast at Zeus daily. Lunch was a fast food at the pool and was nothing special. Breakfast was amazing! Just superb. Can have anything and everything and all is delicious! Most interesting part that all the straws are edible cookies and spoons for ice cream and ice cream cups are edible. Entertainment : nightly several types of entertainment. We were there during FIFA so on those nights, main theater had games. Grab a drink and bond with the rest of the Europe :)! The front bar is nice open area and has live music nightly with sometimes cheesy sometimes ok acts. On non football nights, they had some mild Broadway and magic shows etc. There are also disco dj and other dance events. You can also go out and chill in million bars and restaurants outside of resort. Super fun! Staff: THE BEST. Genuine friendliness, enthusiasm, and hard work. Huge thanks to everyone from front desk, to bell boy, to cleaning staff, to ladies who entertained us daily (Diamond et al) at the pool.

Enjoyed our stay, well maintained hotel, good location, staff were excellent, food was first class, good activities that kept our 16 and 19 year old engaged (as well as us!). Got a side sea view interconnecting room, good amount of space and good views of pool/gardens/sea. Was on half board and got offered a deal on upgrading to all inclusive - which we did. Meant pool snacks and drinks were included, as well as lunch in Zeus (main restaurant). Tried not to think about value - but was good not to have to worry about signing/costs etc when ordering drinks. Did mean we were tied to the hotel, which was fine for a relaxing holiday - next time we may go bed and breakfast which means we may venture more widely. Plenty to do in hotel though, and would thoroughly recommend - we have booked for February already!
