This property is 4 minutes walk from the beach. Just 300 m from La Pinta Beach in Playa Fañabe, HOVIMA Santa María offers tennis courts and outdoor pools, heated in winter. Apartments and studios have furnished terraces and well-equipped kitchenettes. A range of shops and restaurants can be found within a 5-minute walk, while Colón Marina is 350 m away. Tenerife Sur Airport is a 20-minute drive away.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Santa Maria is the best hotel in Tenerife, the customer service we have received here time and time again is the reason we keep coming back. As a family we have stayed here 4 times and I can’t fault the place. The rooms are clean and tidy and have everything you need to cater meals for a family. The food in the bars and restaurants is fresh, plenty of choice and really has something for everyone. Our daughter is grown now but has taken part in the kids club here many times and it still makes me smile seeing the kids being rounded up by the pool full of giggles to join Claire and the other entertainers for games. Nothing is too much for the staff here and Carlos who runs the Guest Experience is just amazing. I have mobility issues due to a health condition and he always goes out of his way to make me as comfortable as possible. We have tried other hotels in the area but they just all lack the atmosphere of the Santa Maria. We have already booked up again for next year! I must also mention the ladies in the restaurant and bar. So kind and polite and work their socks of for the guests. You are all amazing x
really enjoyed our stay here .the staff are amazing. the hotel is so clean and location great .also the food is so good and varied .first time here will be booking again next year .thanks so much to all the staff for being so helpful.
Location is hilly but in a good spot for everything around there. Lots of bars and restaurants and loads of shops. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff are all lovely. A bit of entertainment at night. In the day it’s just aqua gym kids club and touch more. The pools surface was loose and a lot of people were struggling with balance whilst in the water. The rooms were massive, but found that our beds was so close to the wardrobe it was a struggle to get past. We asked for a quiet room which is the only thing that we didn’t get as it was very noisy a night. Breakfast wasn’t that good with not a lot of choice. We only went down a couple of times. Everything else was fine. And yes we would stay there again.
Today review, Entetainment ossifer Claire, the Halifax Hurrican blows into the pool area 10am ish nearly everyday with a cheery smile hgood morning in more languages than the roseta stone, checking for milk bottles, (not yet tanned new arrivals) and then give the lowdown of the days activity, every day something different,. Today Friday was national beach day ofganized, games raffle etc, great afternoon she does a great job day sftet day a great asset to the Santa Maria, 5years top place. R. 226.
From the moments we arrive there was a man working behind the counter and if you watch coronation Street he looked like Norris Cole extremely rude I would definitely not recommend
