This was our 3rd consecutive visit to this hotel and as per previous stays we had a brilliant time! All the staff were very friendly and helpful and as I am a vegetarian they made an extra effort this year to make sure there was a wide variety of food in all of the restaurants. The Entertainment and the team were both fantastic especially the theme nights. The location is great. Short walk to America's and short walk to Siam Park and Mall. Branded drinks which is always nice. Italian Restaurant makes a lovely date night. We went privilege which gives you access to a private lounge bar and sun terrace with guaranteed sun beds and access the Brasserie a la carte restaurant including specials night. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem if given prior notice for any specific requests. Customer service team always attentive making sure our stay was perfect. We shall be back next year and can't wait!
What an amazing hotel! Super location, great food -we stayed for 12 nights and only used the main restaurant as we were so happy with it. If you have food intolerances they are fantastic. You're given a card at check in to highlight what intolerances you have and a member of the restaurant team walks you round the restaurant pointing out what you can eat depending on your intolerance. Every meal was varied, fresh and plentiful. We loved the no reserving sunbed policy they had too. Whatever time of day we came down there were always sunbeds available. The only downside to the whole holiday was as someone else else pointed out... on the last day they cut your All Inclusive band off at checkout and give you a voucher for lunch but from that moment if you want drinks (other than water which is freely available at the pool bars) you have to pay for them. We've never experienced this at any other All Inclusive hotel but for us we usually drink water during the day anyway so it wasn't a big issue but if you have a late flight and like a few drinks during the day it would be frustrating. Other than that it was absolutely faultless. We will be back for sure!
Walk into reception on the night we arrived and thought we walked into a pensioners convention. It took me by surprise how may pensioners were in reception. The location was central to both districts. Must admit it is quite hilly. The food in the hotel was on a daily themed regions of the world. Alot of pork and fish dishes daily. While we were there the weather was very warm, but cooled down by 8° to 10° on the last 2 days. Sun beds cant be kept before 10am as the staff remove your towels from the sunbeds. Definitely get your 10,000 steps in on a daily basis. The room was clean and pleasant. You dont want to be staying in the rooms to the right of the front door as you are above the delivery area for the hotel . The deliveries arrive or start around 6.15am and can be quite noisey. Our stay was very pleasant and staff couldnt do enough for you. Only thing i will say was on the evening we were leaving it was a meeting place for others to come to get the coaches back to the airport. With it being a Adult only hotel, children were not welcome in the hotel while waiting on the coaches,in the reception area and asked to leave,(in an unprofessional manner). In the evenings the bars are badly under staffed for the amount of guests watching the evening entertainment. 1 or 2 staff taking orders while only 1 staff taking the drinks to tables, very slow arriving with drinks and not able to read the names or drinks on the receipts as it is very poorly lit.
The hotel in general is nice, for us the 4 star rating is due to the outdoor facilities. The pools are lovely, bars good, coffee shop is an added bonus.
The room we had was a great size, however needs updating. The paint is peeling off of the walls, the bathroom was grubby to say the least. If we were basing it the rating on the room conditions it would be a 3 at best.
The entertainment on a night was really good and varied. The only downside is you cannot go to the bar, you have to wait and order and sometimes this could take 20-30 minutes.
Check out is 12 o clock, this is the only all inclusive I have ever been to that takes your bands away before you are picked up for transfer. We went to check out at 11.30 and they took our bands and kicked us off of WiFi from that point: no access to drinks, lunch or anything even though pick up was not until 6.30am.
What a lovely hotel and so clean, the staff were all so friendly and the room we got (626) was just the best for views of the pools and mountains and even a Seaview. We went half board so Breakfast was nice but the evening meal was well worth paying the bit extra, all I can say it was 1 of the best holidays we've had as we came back yesterday and not forgetting the entertainment just Brilliant . Thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would certainly return just gutted we're home now but Thx Gran Tinerfe for a most enjoyable stay 😉
