Currently writing this review while were relaxing round the pool taking in the views of the sea.Checking out the reviews before we booked the h10 costa adeje palace the one complaint that kept popping up that people was making was the fact they had no coffee making facilities in the room with this in mind i thought if that's all that people are Complaining about I'm 100 percent booking this.We had the all inclusive option, Food was good plenty to choose from not overly crowded either due to the size of the restaurant.Location good just a short taxi journey into fanabe or las Americas.Drinks are good too no long waits to get one..staff very nice...The only 2 complaints we have are when booking the hotel with jet2 back in January we booked 2 rooms as the hotel does not accommodate 3 adults and 1 child as as our daughters are 21 and 15 so we emailed the hotel back in January and asked for the rooms to be next to each other which I thought 8 months for this request was fair how wrong could I have been, then walking down the corridor on our floor noticed there was families/friends coming in and out of each other's room next to each other 😲 I wonder weather they had emailed them 8 months prior.Rooms are very dated the ones that we was allocated but on the same floor couple of rooms away looked really nice think this could be a reminder to us never ask for 2 rooms together or this is what you could of had.We was welcomed by a cotbed too in our room not a baby insight.overall lovely hotel very clean hotel....staff friendly couldnt do enough for you, would we stay again got to say no due to the issues with the rooms, also in the email we had written back in January to the hotel we had also asked for the rooms to have a view we got one of those looking straight at the hotel opposite I think for the price we paid we should of at least of had a better view than this.Just bear in mind be careful what you request as may not always be given your request even 8 months prior to you staying which is ashame really and I do get the hotel is at full capacity but to me this was a request made with more than enough time.
Very disappointing stay and really not a 4 star hotel. We went for the privilege package for two adults and a soon to be 15 year old. We arrived at hotel and as part of the package you are to be greeted separately and advised on the ways of the hotel for booking restaurants etc.. we were told they had left and someone would find us tomorrow to let us know - we would have still been waiting so we went and spoke to them late morning of our second day. The rooms are spacious and well equipped though a rug rolled up behind a curtain was just laziness. Also we had to ask for The sheets to be changed as they made the beds but had the same sheets on for 4 days. As part of the privilege you also get a turn down service - this never happened. We contacted customer service about various things that was very poor and still awaiting for it to be acknowledged. Staff on reception on our last day were rude and when asked if we could keep the room longer we were told no and told to shower in the spa showers which were absolutely stinking and no where to put your clothes for the flight home. The hotel lacks entertainment and the privilege pool is meant to be over 12 however we had babies and floats in the pool!! The other privilege pool is for only over 18s so we were told our 15 year old had to leave as she was a ‘baby’ Stayed many times in the Caleta area and never had such an awful experience
Overall this hotel was beautiful. The location is fantastic, only 45 minutes to an hour from the airport in a coach, right on the beachfront with a 5-10 minute walk to La Caleta, 5 minutes in a taxi to main towns. The rooms were large and spacious but we only stayed as a family of 2. Beds were very comfy and fresh. It was definitely worth the value you pay in terms of food and drinks. The hotel was very clean and immaculate nothing to complain about in terms of dirty. The noise level was nothing to complain about in our experience we had no loud neighbours and the entertainment ends at a reasonable time. The workers here were amazing, all the food was excellent. The only thing i could fault is there isnt a great variety of stuff to do in terms of entertainment but brilliant entertainment for those with young children.
We just got back after a 10 night family holiday. Overall we had a lovely time. The hotel is well maintained and clean. The reception area is beautiful! The food was pretty nice throughout the stay and we had meals at the Italian and Tepenyake restaurants which were both nice. The alcohol is all branded which is fantastic! but the cocktails are rubbish.
Some things that weren't great...the day time entertainment is pretty much non-existent. They have a few activities on for the kids but most of them are away from the main pool area. Most days there wasn't even any music playing around the pool which made the general atmosphere a bit dull. Most hotels I've stayed at at least have a few pool games and activities each day to make it more fun. I was surprised to see none of that here given how many kids there were at the hotel! It just made what could have been an incredible hotel stay a little less fun.
Also, the fact you have to get glasses of water from the bar is bizarre! I've never stayed in an all-inclusive hotel that doesnt have bottles or at least water machines accessible throughout the hotel. When its hot and you're thirsty, the last thing you want to do is queue at a bar for 5-10 mins each time for a glass of water!
Other little things that are odd for a 4 star hotel are having the pay to change pool towels each day. I've never known that! and having to pay for ice lollies (ice cream was free).
Overall its a nice hotel and I would stay again but only if I wanted a really quiet, chilled holiday. If you want a bit more fun and entertainment maybe go elsewhere.
Relaxing stay. Liked the facilities. The evening shows could be better. Choice of vegetarian food could do with more options.
