Nice stay with a few faults! On arrival we were allocated room 9029, as we had a 3 hour delay we were really late arriving at the hotel! On opening the door of the room we realised that we had been allocated a room for a single occupant! We went to reception and told them it wasn’t acceptable! Marco on reception was very understanding and arranged for us to view another room 6024 in the morning, this we did and immediately moved rooms! Throughout our stay Marco always asked us if everything was fine with our stay! Food was really good and our 2 visits to the Roast restaurant we had great steaks! Thanks to our waiter Javier who advised us through our visits! The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and as other have said the sunbed booking was brilliant! Again as others have stated people smoking around the pool in the evening was very annoying for people who don’t smoke! As an ex smoker I appreciate that it is hard to give up and people enjoy a cigarette with a drink, perhaps the hotel could look at a separate area for smokers and nonsmoking around the pool area! Overall though a nice hotel!
2nd visit to this great hotel. We arrived early but our room was available, reception staff were professional & polite. Rooms are large with everything you need, fridge & room safe are included. The pool area is expansive, sunbeds can be booked via the hotel App the day before. The hotel is ideally placed for the Fanabe strip & other numerous bars and restaurants in the area. The cleaning staff do a great job in keeping your rooms and the general hotel in great shape. Breakfast is plentiful & varied. Lovely place & we will definitely return.

We stayed in allegedly the best suite in the hotel room 8032 named the royal suite although there was nothing in the least royal about it ! Our experience in the past with platinum has been very positive but upon arrival we had to wait a few hours for our room so not the best start .while we waited for our room we ordered two cocktails but could not taste any alcohol in these drinks definitely watered down . Upon entering our room first impressions were it was large but very tired , as we occupied the room longer lots of things were damaged and dirty . This is a hotel we visited 26 years ago when we first met and in our opinion has gone down hill . We asked on our anniversary day for two champagne glasses as the ones we had were gone , rang down waited 30 mins rang down again another 30 mins ( so much for concierge service lol ) in the end my husband got the glasses from a bar in the foyer and they never did appear . When we complained we were ignored we were spoken to by a customer relations manager (joke ) he was so rude and condescending stating well what do you expect ?? Well we did expect the basics sorry not sorry . I am including some evidence of our room including a cockroach who decided to visit half way through our stay just delightful not !!
A fantastic 10 experience at this place. Beautiful hotel with 5 star staff. Just a stones throw away from the beach and the catering was so good! You will never go hungry. Plenty of bars at the hotel and just out of the gates there are many more. Really enjoyed this place and would recommend to anyone thinking of a holiday in this area. A big thank you to all the staff that make this such a good place to be.
