Spacious ensuite rooms have cool tiled floors, air conditioning and large patio doors leading out to a furnished private balcony. The decor features warm colours and soft tones, creating a calm and tranquil atmosphere. All rooms are also equipped with TV, telephone, minibar, safe (at a fee) and hairdryer. All rooms feature a walk-in shower, while Suites also include a bath. Tea and coffee making facilities are complimentary. If you want to maximise the luxury factor, why not opt for a sea view or pool view room, or book a larger Suite (all available at a supplement).
You'll also be spoilt with a choice of three restaurants, each styled differently and offering their own unique dining experience. We travelled with friends and stayed at the GF Gran early September and really enjoyed the experience. Rooms were large, very clean with very good facilities - staff friendly and helpful. We were all inclusive and found the food excellent with plenty of choice, I'm a bit surprised to read some comments knocking it. Branded alcoholic drinks also included, decent entertainment each night and although I can understand the odd criticism about some usual missing 5-star/AI perks this didn't detract from a very good week.
The hotel is in a nice area with a short walk down to the front and beaches with plenty of options for eating out. There's a bus stop right opposite the hotel entrance for trips into Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos.
We saw Pilot whales on a boat trip and can also recommend the buggy tours to Mount Tiedi, we went with Top Buggy who were excellent with hotel pick-up/drop off.
Would happily recommend a stay at the GF Gran Costa Adeje.
This was our first time at this Hotel. The whole atmosphere is so lovely. The concept of the place is old Spanish village vibes, it hits it right in the mark. We opted for B&B so I cannot feedback about the evening meals, there was a large selection of choice each morning for breakfast. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and very professional. It seemed to be that no matter what role or department that the staff members were responsible for delivering they all appeared well trained and happy at their work. Any staff member spoke to you and wished you a good day, which isn’t always the case in some resorts and hotels. We would most definitely consider returning here again. 10/10
We arrived after a day travelling and didn’t get a welcome drink. The mini bars in the rooms despite being all inclusive are empty - not even any water or soft drinks. One of my friends requested water and was directed to the nearest supermarket. The lobby is huge and it’s hot - no air conditioning, just fans which the bar tender told us can only be switched on at night. I have been to many 5* hotels and the hotel is cool inside. The dining room/buffet is huge and although the food is ok, the staff in the main restaurant are not friendly apart from the odd couple. The only other restaurant is near the pool - staff there are nice especially the female manager. The choice is limited for all inclusive guests - amazed me you can have a chicken salad included but not a chicken sandwich. You also can’t eat here on a night as part of the all inclusive deal. The rooftop bar and pool is cramped with sun beds pushed together and the bar is closed on an evening so no sunset cocktails. The entertainment staff are good and friendly. My friend asked for an iron which you have to book as they only have a few! And it never turned up. The entertainment was good, especially the singers. The best thing about the hotel was the other guests!!
Location brilliant, not far from beach, cocktail bars, lovely restaurants just along the road in the Duke shopping centre… room absolutely fabulous we had the royal suite, beautiful views, sun beds on the balcony, table and chairs couldn’t ask for more Sun beds plenty and one good thing nobody could add towels and just save the space, swimming pools lovely not over crowded Entertainment was ok not the best Food well that was so disappointing the breakfast plenty to choose from, lunch and evening meal absolutely awful definitely not 5 star or even 4 star, so ate out most evenings, so glad didn’t do all inclusive, wish I had booked bed and breakfast Would definitely stay at the hotel again and recommend to friends, but definitely budget to eat out as you won’t want to eat in the restaurant unless you like pizza or pasta
For a 5 star hotel I would least expect bottled water daily in fridge.. also tea and coffee not replenished. The staff aren’t very helpful or friendly. Will not be returning
