great central location, short walk from amenities and beach( not a nice beach) but within a nice walk to fanabe, pool was nice no problem with sun beds food was good and rooms large and clean with everything you need staff friendly. the only thing is the entertainment finishes stupidly early.

Very disappointing definitely not a 4-star hotel

Unfortunately, our stay here was really disappointing and, in our opinion, this hotel is nowhere near the standard you would expect from a 4-star property.

The hotel is very small and seriously lacking in sunbeds. If you’re not down by around 9–9:30am, you’ve got very little chance of getting one. There are additional sunbeds on floors 8/9, but there is no bar up there, meaning if you want a drink you have to make your way all the way back down to the pool bar. Not exactly ideal when you’re trying to relax.

The hot tub was also out of use during our entire stay and, judging by its condition, it looked like it hadn’t been used or maintained for quite some time.

Our biggest issue was the noise. The hotel backs directly onto a bus terminal, and the noise from buses reversing, beeping and coming in and out continued into the early hours of the morning. We stayed in room 402, which was right at the back of the hotel, so unfortunately we heard absolutely everything.

To make matters worse, the bins were emptied every night in the early hours, creating an enormous amount of noise and regularly waking us up. The rooms are also very poorly soundproofed, with extremely thin walls. We had neighbours who would come in late, slam doors and shout on their phones from the balcony until 2–3am on most nights. Getting a decent night’s sleep was therefore extremely difficult.

Another strange design choice is the glass surrounding the bathroom area. The bathroom window lets a huge amount of light into the bedroom at night, so even when the bathroom isn’t being used, the room can be lit up.

The food was probably the biggest disappointment. For an all-inclusive hotel, the selection was laughable. There were only around 3–4 hot dishes available, alongside vegetable sides, with very little variety. The salad selection was extremely basic and the dessert table often had only around three options, plus ice cream. The food was so poor that we ended up having to go out every night to eat, despite having paid for an all-inclusive package.

Even more disappointing was the arrangement on the last day. Despite having paid for all-inclusive, they remove your all-inclusive wristband when you check out and give you just one voucher for lunch. After that, you’re expected to pay for anything else you want. This seems particularly poor when you’ve paid for an all-inclusive stay and still have hours left before your departure.

Unfortunately, the staff didn’t improve the experience either. Particularly the bar and reception staff, who came across as miserable, rude and very abrupt. Of course, everyone can have an off day, but the general attitude we experienced throughout the stay was disappointing.

Overall, we would not consider this a 4-star hotel. In our opinion, it’s more like a 3-star at a push. Between the lack of sunbeds, inconvenient additional sunbeds, out-of-use hot tub, constant nighttime noise from the bus terminal and bin collections, poor soundproofing, disappointing food and unfriendly staff, there were far too many negatives for us.

We certainly wouldn’t choose to stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a genuine 4-star all-inclusive experience.
