The Hotel Chatur Playa Real Resort is located in the most exclusive tourist place in the south of Tenerife, in Costa Adeje. Very close to Playa del Duque and Fañabe beach and Siam Park. It is a hotel aimed at families and couples. Chatur Playa Real Resort offers an all-inclusive service and has 178 comfortable and spacious rooms with a separate bedroom, distributed in two buildings. The 117 junior suites are located in the main building and the 61 family rooms equipped with kitchenette are in the annex. All services and common areas are shared together to avoid limitations in the use of the facilities. There is a new pool area in the family room area with two splash pools for the children. And there are 2 more pools in the main area of the building with a small children's pool.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Fantastic stay at the Chatur Playa Real. Lots of bars but only one in use was the Pool Bar with only a single bar person available who had their work cut out with queuing for drinks typically long. Can't fault staff.
Stayed at the Chatur Playa Real Hotel & Resort in Costa Adeje from 4–11 September 2026. Unfortunately, the hotel fell well short of what would reasonably be expected from a 4-star all-inclusive resort.
The food quality was consistently poor, with some dishes difficult to identify and generally lacking quality and variety. The cocktails were extremely syrupy and tasted artificial, while drinks were routinely served in very small paper cups.
The room cleanliness was unacceptable. There were obvious dirt marks on the bed sheets and stains on towels, including issues with replacement bedding and towels. There was also no hand wash provided in the bathroom throughout the stay.
The pool safety was particularly concerning. On multiple occasions, the lifeguard was seen wearing headphones and watching content on a mobile phone instead of actively monitoring the pool. This was especially concerning after an accident at the poolside, when the lifeguard returned almost immediately to using the phone.
The hotel itself is tired and poorly maintained. There were numerous broken sun loungers around the pool, the advertised hot tub was not hot and was effectively unusable, and the self-service drinks facilities in the rooftop adults-only area were not operational.
Customer service was also disappointing. Staff were frequently unwelcoming and basic courtesies such as acknowledging guests, greetings and saying thank you were often lacking.
Overall, there were problems with food, cleanliness, maintenance, facilities, customer service and pool safety. These weren’t isolated minor issues but recurring problems throughout the stay.
For a hotel marketed as 4-star, the overall standard was simply not there.
