One of the best hotels i have stayed in. And everyone who worked there. We would stay there again. Thank you 😊
We arrived on the 7th August 2026 on arrival we were shown to our room by a young gentleman on reception we were allocated a room on the 4th floor. As we were shown to our room there was a lot of dust and dirt on the 3rd floor the gentleman from reception explained that some rooms were being renovated but it wouldn't effect our stay . We got to our room which was very nice and had a view overlooking the pool area and a view of the sea we did pay extra for a top floor room as we do like a nice view . The first few days were lovely until the Monday when we were woken up to banging and drilling we wondered what it was only to find out they were renovating the rooms directly underneath us. Now considering this hotel is advertised of relaxing and quiet we wasn't happy.
We went for breakfast which i would like to mention was really good the staff are friendly and helpful and work very hard .
After breakfast we went to sunbathe the main pool area was busy so we decided to try the rooftop pool that was also full so directly underneath our room there was a large terrace with lots of sunbeds nobody was there so we decided to sunbathe there . As we settled down it was very nice and peaceful then the drilling and banging started from the rooms which were being renovated the workmen had all the patio doors open directly behind were we were sitting.
My partner has always worked in the building trade and said they do have a job to do but it should of been mentioned on arrival. Later on that afternoon I decided to go to the room for a lie down as I suffer from headaches the drilling seemed to have stopped so I settled down in our room . A few minutes into relaxing the drilling started again.
We later decided to go to reception and ask how long this renovation would be going on and also mentioned why wasn't we told ?? The gentleman on reception said if we phone reception they could get them to stop, but I explained they have a job to do so how are you going to do that? . We went away feeling that there was no solution to this problem.
The next day we went out come back to our room to a bottle of champagne 2 glasses and a note saying sorry for the inconvenience neither of us drink this but it was a nice gesture even though this did not solve the problem as it carried on every day of our stay we were there for 11 nights.
The day before we were leaving we had a phone call off reception it was who I think was the duty manager she asked if we had enjoyed our stay ? I fully explained the situation again about the room renovations and she explained we should of made them aware and they could of moved us to another room but then said the hotel was full , after a long conversation I said the hotel is lovely but this has spoilt our holiday she said she was very sorry.
When i returned home I received a email saying after our conversation the hotel would like to offer us a upgrade next year if we book a superior room they will upgrade us to a top floor room.
We booked through jet2 not once did we see a rep to discuss this matter.
I hate being negative but the hotel is lovely and I know it has people who return year after year but this experience spoilt our holiday which we saved up for all year.
Currently sat by the pool on my last day as I'm writing this, this is the first time I've been to an adults only hotel so getting to learn various rules and etiquette took some getting used to, totally understand why they have them and it doesn't spoil the experience in fact it's improved the experience. The food, the staff, the room the heated pools and all the surroundings were absolutely incredible, the staff were all fantastic, not a single rude person and really helpful with all our enquiries. Food and drink was priced decently, sunbeds were easily obtained (due to the life guard monitoring sunbed hoggers) absolutely everything was perfectly clean you couldn't ask for more, I can't work out why it isn't a 5* as in my eyes it was faultless. Thanks for having us hopefully see you again soon (room 427)
Excellent hotel staff excellent food 95% rooms excellent only thing charged for water when having evening meal
My friend and I stayed for one week at this lovely hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. As stated on other reviews, the large walk-in shower, wardrobe space with plenty of hangers, free safe and water that was provided in the room daily all made our stay very pleasant. The twin beds were really comfortable and the hotel is nice and quiet. The pool beds are comfortable and the free towels were also very much appreciated. Breakfast was fine with plenty of choice and good service. I emailed the hotel before our visit to see if it would be possible for us to have a low floor room as my friend has an issue with her knee. This was provided which was very helpful as her access to the pool area couldn't have been any easier. It is an interesting building and you soon get used to finding your way around. There are lovely plants around and stunning views from the reception area. The location was fine for us and we visited various restaurants and bars with ease in Costa Adeje. Both my friend and I had no complaints at all. Thank you for a lovely stay.
