Came for the sun, left with questions
Genuinely brilliant stay.
The hotel itself was lovely – clean rooms, a great rooftop, friendly staff and cleaners who somehow managed to work around a group of adults operating on very little sleep and even less common sense.
The entertainment wasn’t exactly five-star, unless your thing is DJ Laura (Scouse icon) confidently playing Football’s Coming Home despite England having firmly decided otherwise.
The real highlight, though, was the people. We arrived not knowing most of them and left wondering how complete strangers had become responsible for some of the funniest conversations we’ve ever had.
Within 24 hours we’d:
- Been ghosted by a 75-year-old before 9:30am.
- Collectively decided we were absolutely not getting on a coach.
- Learnt that someone had been to the toilet 21 times the previous Wednesday.
- Held a surprisingly serious debate about whether pigeons enjoy alcohol.
- Wondered why several guests had embraced an extremely minimalist approach to sunbathing.
- Been introduced to “The Big Brigade”.
- Heard the phrase “Don’t tell anyone…” more than once.
- Listened to an unexpected discussion about Olympic-level gymnastics that nobody ever explained.
- Watched grown adults become strangely invested in ordering unnecessarily complicated coffees.
By the end of the weekend, entire conversations consisted solely of quotes that would make absolutely no sense to anyone who wasn’t there.
Lovely hotel. Even better people. I still don’t know who the boat people were, why a pensioner ghosted us, or why Laura remained so optimistic about football coming home, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
Five stars. We’d happily come back… just maybe not by coach.
Lovely stay
From the minute we arrived the staff at reception are so friendly and helpful. Hotel is spotless ~ the cleaning staff do a fantastic job and work so hard and are so friendly. The atmosphere is friendly with other guests. Room spacious enough for 2 people. Air conditioning average. A minutes walk to the beach and Main Street. Good choice of food during the day. We are out most nights so cannot comment on evening meals. Good value for money. Transfer from airport quick.
I cannot comment on entertainment staff as only saw aerobics and other staff only talk to the same guests everyday during our stay. Sunbeds the usual people reserve then leave them all day. We prefer to sit on the chairs so did not affect us. Lifeguard seemed to be more interested in her phone rather than watching the pool. Quiet at night so always a good sleep. Nice stay and clean hotel. My advice is go there and make your own minds up as someone will always pick on the negatives. Your experience is what you make it

We had a lovely holiday, the hotel is in a great location 2 mins walk to the beach. It’s a little dated but rooms are clean, food very good plenty of choices and going all inclusive was certainly value for money. We had some minor issues in the room, TV & a/c not working but they were resolved quickly. The negative is the sun bed situation, if you want one get up very early. People reserve with towels even though there are signs everywhere. The pool attendant or lifeguard made a half hearted attempt to address by leaving a note on one or two but only removed when people complained. The best thing about this hotel is the staff, they are very helpful and friendly and most of them can’t do enough for you.
Great hotel
Just back from a great stay at the hotel. The hotel is very well run. Very clean, lots of staff always cleaning. Entertainment staff are brilliant. Location is perfect, 2 mins from a lovely beach and shops. Sunbeds by the pool were bit of an issue and there is always a long line to get drinks and it’s only 2 per person. Would definitely go back.
Top hotel
This was our second year at this cracking hotel.The food was excellent all the staff from cleaners to managerial staff were professional and friendly. Sam and entertainment were alot of fun.The cocktails are amazing. Thank you for a amazing stay.
