Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I have been several times and believe it to be the best hotel .Staff are always pleassnt and helpful ,hotel is very clean and the food is delicious and something for everyone .Will definately be going back .
We only had 3 nights here and they were thoroughly enjoyable. The staff are so lovely. Everyone of them was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and well equipped. We used the pools and the indoor hot tub which was a nice bonus. The rooftop pool was a lovely area with views over Santa Ponsa Bay. The sun beds are also great here...if you can get one, as it does get full up very quickly. The food was very good and well presented. No complaints there.
There were some slight negatives and hence not a full 5 out of 5.
The downstairs bar shuts relatively early. One night it was well before mid-night. The evening entertainment is alright but we would like to have seen a band. Our room was not the one of the better ones we have stayed in, especially for a 4 star hotel. A little on the small side, no separate shower and we had some issues with the English channels on the TV, but this did detract from our very enjoyable stay here.
If you are looking for a nice hotel in Santa Ponsa, The Zafiro Rey Don Jaime is well worth considering.
The room was okay but a walk in shower would have been better than a shower over the bath! Also there didn’t seem to be any air conditioning in the restaurant as it was always very hot while eating! Apart from those 2 things everything thing else was excellent! Great choice of food, easy to get drinks at the bar, air conditioning good in the bar area, great cocktail bar and very close to a lovely beach! I am returning in September with a group of golfers and looking forward to it!!
Everything was great except for room we had to get maintanance in afew times the sink plug did not work the safe was to high had to stand in the wardrobe to reach electric socket in bathroom was hanging off the wall television didnt work to many cushions on beds rooms need updating
We returned to the hotel after visiting last year. I am impressed by all the teams the rooms was clean every day plenty of food whether you want the buffet or à la carte restaurant bar team exceptional.
