Iberostar Selection Jardin del Sol Suites

Beautiful hotel. 2nd time coming to this hotel and can I say it just keeps getting better. Only here for a 4 night stay but staff make this hotel so good you want to keep coming back. From reception staff, to housekeeping, restaurant/bar staff and all the cooks, wait staff, honestly everyone cannot do enough for you to make your visit a good one. Food is amazing excellent choice and also a sin gluten range for those with coeliacs. It's also displayed so you can see it. Also they cook the meat in front of you. Only problem was the choice....too much. My waistline is complaining. All 3 of us loved this hotel so much we're upgrading next year. So will see what that is like

Just came back from a long weekend and it could not have been more perfect. Booked a swim up room which was a perfect location near the prestige bar. The hotel staff were amazing, from our greeting on reception on Thursday evening to our departure yesterday everyone was so friendly and so helpful. The breakfasts were fabulous and we enjoyed a table outside every morning. Loved the Prestige Level extras of cava and snacks, ans the separate pool. We didn’t have sunbed issues as the swim up rooms come with their own sunbed which I thoroughly recommend. Takes the stress out of that of a morning and you can wake up at leisure. On the last day as we knew it was going to be rainy we booked a massage which was the Lomi Lomi one for myself and my daughter. Possibly one of the best massages I have ever had and again the spa team were was so welcoming. Love the water refillable stations on each floor, we used them a lot and the hotel had a big focus on sustainability which I loved. The only negative was some of the property needs a little maintenance (our bath was a little old as an example) but really that was minor. Santa Ponsa itself was not that great but we took a 10 min taxi to Palma Nova one night for dinner which was lovely. Truly wonderful stay. Loved it.

Had a wonderful weeks stay in the star prestige area of the hotel, really peaceful, wonderful views over the bay, staff extremely pleasant and attentive. Also took the opportunity to paddleboard and go on a kayak tour which was great fun and to get out on the sea. Booked the teppanyaki restaurant one evening which whilst the food was excellent, the experience itself was disappointing. There was no ‘show’ element to it and the atmosphere was lacking, certainly compared to other teppanyaki experiences. My only other constructive comment was as that we were told check out in the prestige area was 2pm, only to learn on the day of departure it was actually 12pm, we made sure to check a couple of days before so was very disappointed at the lack of clear communication of this as it left us hanging around on our last day, not able to use the facilities. Overall, a great stay but certainly come areas the hotel can improve on.
