- Bahia del Sol

The hotel is ideally situated close to the city centre of the bustling tourist hub of Santa Ponsa. The hotel is located just a 5 minutes' walking distance from shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. A beautiful sandy beach and the lively promenade are easily reachable while the island's capital, Palma, and the airport are just 27 km away. This wonderful hotel is set amidst a large garden featuring an attractive architectural style. The rooms are sumptuously decorated in a contemporary style with retro influences. Guests will be impressed by the hotel's selection of exemplary leisure and recreational facilities, which offer unequivocal enjoyment and pleasure. Guests will appreciate the daily entertainment programme including a round of golf or go horse riding.
Hotel was lovely, staff friendly. Pool was well maintained and I loved the gym. Would definitely come again
We had a very enjoyable stay at the Bahia Del Sol and would happily return.
Unfortunately, when we arrived there were no twin rooms available, so we were placed in a double room for the first night. While this was a little inconvenient, the hotel resolved the issue quickly and moved us to a lovely alternative room the following day. The room we were moved to was excellent and made a big difference to our stay.
The hotel itself is clean, well maintained, and in a great location. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, and the facilities were very good.
The only other minor criticism would be the prices in the hotel bar, which felt very expensive compared to nearby alternatives.
One negative experience came in the dining area when I mistakenly picked up a bottle of wine, believing it was included as part of the all-inclusive package. Rather than simply explaining the situation, a member of staff reacted very abruptly, which felt unnecessary and left a sour taste. It was an honest mistake that could have been handled more politely.
That said, this was very much the exception rather than the rule. Overall, we had a lovely holiday, enjoyed the hotel, and appreciated how quickly the room issue was resolved. A few minor improvements would make this a five-star experience, but Id still recommend Bahia Del Sol to others
A very nice hotel; I liked everything. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. I recommend it! The sea is nearby!
Retuned back yesterday from a week at this hotel with my partner & two teenage boys, honest opinion, Hotel is clean but with a very continental atmosphere, you can feel this as soon as you arrive at reception. There was no smiles and welcoming to the Hotel more catered for Spanish & other nationalities,
Rooms were clean and cleaners came daily, Food was Good, plenty of choice and options changed.
Swimming pools were nice, but with a zero atmosphere around the pool side, No entertainment around the pool, ie aqua sports. Splash games. Music, No kids club,
Do not visit this hotel if you want Family fun & entertainment!!! There is no night Entertainment ie singers, acts, ect
sky bar is beautiful for sunsets across the island, but again only provide drinks no entertainment,
There isn’t any table tennis/pool tables,Games pitch ect avoid if you enjoy these activities on holiday,
Location of the hotel is good, close to shops, bars, beach ect…..
Reception staff/ Restaurant staff unfortunately I must say were Rude personally favoring others.
A number of guests had booked all inclusive but only to be told this means drinks only allowed dinner time, not your all inclusive as we know it,
For me and my family the hotel would suit a elderly couple/family wanting a relaxing week with a mundane atmosphere, this is not a hotel for a young family with children looking for entertainment and Positive holiday vibes,
Please note! This hotel does not take cash so please don’t visit with euros as it’s card only!
Would i return? No! Personally I seek a much greater atmosphere, family entertainment & activities
We recently stayed at the Bahia del Sol for 4 nights and it unfortunately was not a great stay. On arrival, the reception staff were quite rude and blunt- we also witnessed them being rude to other hotel guests too. We had emailed the hotel prior to arrival as we were celebrating our engagement. The staff said there was nothing they could do to allow us to celebrate, and we were placed in a tiny box room that didn’t even have a room number- it was through a fire door and in a stairwell. We experienced constant noise from staff and the kitchen areas and couldn’t unpack due to lack of space. The shower door didn’t open fully as it crashed into the toilet.
The food in the restaurant was ok, nothing special.
The pool area was also quite poor. No subbed after around 8am that often lay empty all day.
