This modern apartment complex was totally refurbished in 2005 and is located in a peaceful residential area in Puerto Pollensa. It has an extensive pool and garden area which is fully equipped with sun loungers and sunshades for its three pools, all under the supervision of a lifeguard. The inviting snack bar has an excellent service and offers live music in the evenings, while the kid's club, games room, and full entertainment programme provide precious memories for the whole family. The complex is only 150 metres from the beach and a short walk from the centre of town, where guests will find shops, supermarkets and a variety of restaurants and bars. Each studio or apartment comes with a sitting area, full bathroom, and fully-equipped kitchen as well as a balcony, air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi, all for a fantastic family holiday by the sea.
Take advantage of recreational opportunities offered, including an outdoor pool, a hot tub and a sauna. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge).
This was our first time staying in Puerto Pollensa and at Hoposa Villaconcha. We stayed in a studio with a view of the pool. The hotel was excellent, it was immaculate, the rooms cleaned and bedding changed every day. It was in a peaceful location but only 6mins walk to the beach and 10-15 mins walk from all the restaurants, shops and bars. There were 2 pools and a kiddies splash zone. Plenty of room around the pools with a grass area too and plenty of sunbeds to choose from. The only con regarding the pools were that they looked a bit tired with a few broken or replaced tiles and we felt they needed updating considering this is a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice for everyone. Hot and cold food plus omelettes on request and pancakes. The staff were lovely at this hotel very friendly and helpful. We were also able to extend our room on the last day as we had a late flight home, this was 60€. We loved Puerto Pollensa its such a beautiful place with a lovely promenade and beach, we would definitely return.
We absolutely loved our week in the Villaconcha.
We had both been unable to travel due to unexpected health issues for the past year and so we really wanted this trip to be speical and it did not dissapoint.
The hotel was spotless, the staff were always helpful and whilst we only ate breakfast in the hotel we were spoilt for choice with all the high quality food on offer to suit all diets and tastes.
The location was perfect - just out of the hussle and bussle of the more central hotels but easy to access the beach / pharmasist and supermarkets.
We found the sea was crystal clear if we turned right at the beach and walked down to the beach bar outside the Hiposa Uyal hotel where the view was stunning and the fish were around you when you went in the water.
This week was all about gaining stamina and the flat resort was perfect for that and so easy to walk around.
Finally a few points to mention
-We travelled outside school holidays. There were lots of little children around the hotel who were a delight to see and the parents staying there made sure they did not cause any problems to those of us whose children have grown up.
We would 100% come back to this hotel again and were so pleased we had chosen it ahead of all the others available for the same week.

We have been here 4 years in a row. Good location. A 5 minute walk to seafront/ beach and a small supermarket and restaurants. 15 minute walk to centre of Puerto pollensa. 5 minute walk to bus stop. Attentive service, fantastic breakfast, very clean. Getting a sunbed is an issue travelling July/August and you have no choice but to put your towel down pre 9am if you want a sunbed. There are double rooms available and apartments. Some apartments sleep 3 and are split level with stairs in. These would not be suitable for younger children and those with walking issues. Other apartments sleep 4 and are on one level. Pool view apartments are much nicer in my opinion. Generally speaking it's a quiet/ family orientated resort. One year we were allocated a ground floor apartment in a corner. There was a known smell/ sewage issue with this room. I am surprised they still allocated it as the smell was horrendous. Luckily they changed our room as it was so strong we couldn't eat in there. I hope they have since fixed this issue. Search around for prices as it varies considerably. This hotel is a good 4 star hotel. Full with families with young children in July and August. Avoid these months if thats not your thing. Popular with cyclists and couples in other months.
The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location. The pool is amazing, and we really enjoyed the breakfast too. We are currently staying here, and overall we have had a lovely experience. The only major issue I would mention is that the air-conditioning system really needs updating. Our room reached 27°C during the day and the lowest temperature we could get it down to was around 24°C at night. We have to keep the curtains shut for it to reach a cool enough temperature. We spoke to reception, who have been absolutely lovely and very helpful. They provided us with a fan and have repeatedly told us that an engineer is coming to look at the air conditioning, but unfortunately this still hasn’t been resolved during our stay. With a one-year-old, the temperature in the room has been particularly difficult, especially at night, and it has affected our comfort and sleep. If the air-conditioning system was improved, this hotel would have been perfect for us. We would definitely recommend the hotel based on its beautiful facilities, fantastic location, lovely pool and breakfast — we just hope the air conditioning can be addressed for future guests… we would 100% come back to this location but we would definitely look for other hotels unless this has been resolved.
Visit was a family visit for my mother’s 80th birthday with 10 of us in 5 rooms. Most importantly Mum thought it was the best hotel she had every stayed in.🥰
Pros Rooms are incredibly well kitted out. Huge amount of storage. And very spacious. Beds are very comfortable and it’s in a great location. The pool is beautiful and the swimming pool is a great addition. Breakfast was fabulous. We stayed in room 204 with a sea view, if you squint. 🤣 5 mins walk to fantastic beach. €21 for 2 sun-beds and umbrella
Cons: Bar shuts at 11 Shower had pretty poor power Room dark as on two floors Restaurant staff very surly but efficient Late September and there was not enough sun-beds. Always packed.
But we would all stay here again in a heartbeat.
