It's has been the best holiday we had in a long time. The hotel rooms and facilities are amazing specially for the little one. The indoors soft play facility was great for the heatwave as kids can play in the cool. But what was the best thing about the hotel is the staff members specially Joel from reception. Joel was extremely helpful with any enquiry we had and provided some amazing recommendations for a day out.
Although we enjoyed our stay, if feel the pool needs an upgrade . Was tired of standing on loose tiles and lots of green slime around the pool. Very little entertainment at night and was usually finished when we came back from our meal about 9ish. Also kids club seemed to be all water based. Great if your child is confident in the water, not all children are. Would i go back??? Still debating.
Great location- really close to the beach and only a short walk to some lovely restaurants. The hotel itself is really clean and staff are really friendly. The breakfast is really good too- plenty of choice. Breakfast staff are all very friendly. The gym is small but well equipped. We have been to the hotel 3 times now. The last time was 2-3 years ago and it’s still a great hotel. The only thing I would say is the pool is looking a little tired. Some of the tiles are coming loose and it just looks like it needs some tlc. There was very little atmosphere in the bar on an evening. It was never jumping but the bar staff on an evening were not very enthusiastic and it took a while to get served. When we headed back to the hotel about 9.30-10 some nights, the bar was empty. There are a few subbed hoggers as well as there are in many hotels. There is a sign not to reserve but it would be good to see a system where towels are removed if sunbeds haven’t been used for an hour or so. We usually went to the beach but when we came back later there were often no sunbeds but yet loads with towels on and no one using them and they didn’t look like they’d been used most of the day.
Visit was a family visit for my mother’s 80th birthday with 10 of us in 5 rooms. Most importantly Mum thought it was the best hotel she had every stayed in.🥰
Pros Rooms are incredibly well kitted out. Huge amount of storage. And very spacious. Beds are very comfortable and it’s in a great location. The pool is beautiful and the swimming pool is a great addition. Breakfast was fabulous. We stayed in room 204 with a sea view, if you squint. 🤣 5 mins walk to fantastic beach. €21 for 2 sun-beds and umbrella
Cons: Bar shuts at 11 Shower had pretty poor power Room dark as on two floors Restaurant staff very surly but efficient Late September and there was not enough sun-beds. Always packed.
But we would all stay here again in a heartbeat.
The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location. The pool is amazing, and we really enjoyed the breakfast too. We are currently staying here, and overall we have had a lovely experience. The only major issue I would mention is that the air-conditioning system really needs updating. Our room reached 27°C during the day and the lowest temperature we could get it down to was around 24°C at night. We have to keep the curtains shut for it to reach a cool enough temperature. We spoke to reception, who have been absolutely lovely and very helpful. They provided us with a fan and have repeatedly told us that an engineer is coming to look at the air conditioning, but unfortunately this still hasn’t been resolved during our stay. With a one-year-old, the temperature in the room has been particularly difficult, especially at night, and it has affected our comfort and sleep. If the air-conditioning system was improved, this hotel would have been perfect for us. We would definitely recommend the hotel based on its beautiful facilities, fantastic location, lovely pool and breakfast — we just hope the air conditioning can be addressed for future guests… we would 100% come back to this location but we would definitely look for other hotels unless this has been resolved.
