2nd time at the JS Cape Colom and just like the first , this hotel is amazing , the wonderful staff, the location, food , drink , this is supposed to be a 3 star hotel well I can tell you it is far superior than all the 4 and 5 star hotels I have been to, it has to be the best value for money around, we can’t wait to get back there , thank you JS
we recently returned from a wonderfully relaxing holiday at this beautiful hotel and cannot recommend it enough. The property itself is lovely and provides the perfect peaceful atmosphere for a getaway. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the team. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. We also thoroughly enjoyed the dining, as the food was consistently good with great options available. It was exactly the relaxing break we needed, and we will definitely be returning. First of all can I say that every single member of staff gives exceptional service, shout out to Lara on the bar who always had a smile. Overall I've marked my experience as average. Nothing major wrong with the hotel but apart from the staff and the scenery, nothing was amazing. The location is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. The single room I had was very small and the position of the toilet meant you had to sit sideways as there was no room for your legs which was an interesting experience 😂. No drawers so struggled where to put anything and felt like it was really hard to keep things tidy. The thing that really let the hotel down is the food. It was tasty enough but very repetitive. It felt like it was more or less the same menu every 3 days. The kebabs were good, as you see from the queues but in 10 nights these were on 3 times which is maybe a bit excessive. The chef on the grill station did his best but the quality of the meat was poor and quite chewy. Summary is, I had a nice time but I wouldn't rush to return.
We had a great stay at the JS Cape Colom. It is a small, tranquil hotel with fabulous views out to sea. The hotel is 3 star, which I would say is about right (compared to 4 star and 4 star plus hotels we’ve stayed at), but this is reflective in the price. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, there are ample sun beds, and the food is pretty good. The room was quite hot and the air conditioning could have been a bit stronger, but it was not overly uncomfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel on the location alone - sat on a sun bed, looking out to sea, listening to the waves crashing against the rocks, whilst enjoying a drink, was fantastic. We will return! Thank you.
