Great location, excelent hotel crew. We had all inclusive option and there was everything we need. Variety of food, drinks and ice cream ideal for hot weather we had during our visit. In september hotel was full staf but not full of people so there always was a place to sit and a variety of sunbeds to chose. During our visit we participate in all evening events and all of them were entertaining and fun to watch. Service was professional and very polite.
We stayed at the Bahia as a family of 4 in a one bedroom suite. The hotel was an amazing find. It is approx 50 minute drive from PMI airport but well worth it. The hotel isn’t massive which is part of the appeal as it never felt over crowded or noisy. Some cons- For about half half ever my morning there was a sewage smell, it was quite overpowering, it could be the nearby swamp water? The rooms on some nights were noisy, the room backed onto football pitch, there was shouting screaming until 11pm. Hotel need to put floodlights off sooner or lock gate to stop this. In general there are a lot of young children 5 and below, so as expected lots of noise crying etc! We didn’t mind but if you would then i would avoid! Walls seem thin in the rooms, you could hear toilet flushes, children shouting, crying etc.
Pros- Specious room, ample wardrobe space, cleaned to high standard. Food was great, slight issue with temperature of food, replenishment of certain items could be quicker and desserts need to be better what is there is beautiful BUT, runs out quite quickly. Swimming pools are varied and very enjoyable, adults only, the rest can be used by children, a deep pool, 2 pools with bali beds and another smaller pool which we didn’t go in, a pirate ship activity pool and a baby pool. Getting sunbed was never an issue and no 7am scramble! There a notices around the sun beds advising a 40min rule. People take notice and it makes it fairer and more enjoyable. The hotel is a stone’s throw from the amazing beach. Overall, we would go back in a heartbeat! Food was amazing and varied and to a high standard, staff were very lovely, rooms were clean, spacious and modern. Excellent facilities, nice guests near the beach!
Nothing special - there are better hotels for this price. Having access to the beach and several swimming pools doesn't automatically make this a great hotel. The good: The hotel and rooms were clean. We liked the apartment itself, especially the layout, furniture, bathroom and balconies. The evening entertainment was also quite good, especially the mini disco and some of the competitions. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the waiters. A big plus for me was the strict no-smoking policy throughout the entire property. It was great to finally be able to relax by the pool without someone smoking right next to you. Another big plus: everyone was sober and well-behaved. Compared with some of our previous hotel stays, the atmosphere here was very civilized. This may be more about Mallorca/Alcudia in general than this particular hotel, but it's definitely worth mentioning. The bad: The biggest problem was the food. Everything was extremely greasy and swimming in oil. The chefs seemed to be frying and grilling everything as quickly as possible to avoid queues. Almost every time, there was a noticeable pool of oil left on the plate. I mentioned this to the hotel staff and later to the manager, but nothing changed. I was basically told, indirectly, that this was simply how the hotel operates. The restaurant by the beach was exactly the same. Around 90% of the menu seemed to be breaded or fried. Halfway through our stay, we ended up eating mostly vegetables, fruit and yoghurt because there simply weren't many healthier alternatives. The gym was another disappointment. Very limited equipment, some machines with broken cables and others simply not working. We also found the sauna wasn't working. We reported it to reception and then to the manager, who assured us that it was working. Later we were referred to the director. Only after about a week did management finally acknowledge that the sauna was actually broken. An "OUT OF ORDER" sign was eventually put up, and we were told they were looking for an external company to find out what had gone wrong. This might sound like a minor issue, but the hotel is marketed as having proper SPA facilities. In reality, the entire lower level was basically one massage room. The indoor pool was closed, the therapeutic showers weren't working, neither sauna was working, and the gym was very basic. So overall, the SPA facilities felt much more like a marketing feature than something genuinely worth using. Bottom line: there are better hotels in this price range. If you don't have high expectations and mainly want a clean hotel with pools and beach access, you might enjoy it. But personally, I wouldn't choose this hotel again.
After staying at the sister hotel zafiro mallorca last year i can say that zafiro Bahía has been a let down. Entertainment- 1 night out of 7 was ok. The decking near pool area feels as if you’re going to fall through it. Stayed in apartment 1227 and from the attached pictures you will see for yourselves things that should be sorted. Aircon vents had been shut until we opened them and there were thick with dust. Floor edgings (skirtins) thick with dust. For the money you pay to stay here that is part of the LUXE range everything should be perfect.
Our stay at the Zafira Bahia Mallorca genuinely exceeded our expectations and was wonderful from start to finish.
The rooms were excellent, beautifully maintained and very comfortable, and our cleaner was absolutely fantastic. Everything was kept spotless and she did a superb job throughout our stay.
The location is also brilliant, with the beautiful beach just a stone’s throw away — and conveniently, you can even pass the bar on the way!
The hotel is on the beach in a quiet area. There is a friendly atmosphere and the team make you feel special.
What really stood out was the level of service. Any request we made was dealt with immediately, efficiently and without the slightest fuss. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble.
The food was lovely, with plenty to enjoy, and the catering staff were consistently friendly, welcoming and hardworking. In fact, all of the staff helped make our holiday feel special.
We had a fantastic stay and very much hope to return again soon. A huge thank you to everyone at Zafira Bahia Mallorca for making our holiday so enjoyable and memorable.
