This lovely hotel is located in the attractive, quiet resort of Playa de Muro. The spectacular sandy beach is just a stone's throw from the hotel and it is just 3 km to the centre's copious shops and other entertainment attractions. It is well worth paying a visit to the neighbouring nature reserve.
The building was constructed in 1995 and consists of 5 floors and a total of 265 apartments. Guests are offered a beautiful, large garden and pool area, a substantial lobby with lifts, a currency exchange counter and a 24-hour reception. There is also a supermarket, bicycle hire, a café, a snug bar and an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and high chairs available for small children. Business guests may make use of the Internet access. Guests may also use the medical assistance if necessary. Younger guests may enjoy letting off steam in the play area or in the kids club. The Hotel is open from March to October. All of the en suite rooms are stylishly furnished and fitted with a hairdryer, a comfortable lounge area, a telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a food preparation area, air-conditioned, central heating, a hire safe and a balcony or a terrace. The hotel enjoys its own indoor swimming pool, a pool with a children's paddling pool, a snack bar, parasols and sun loungers, a gym and a spa area with a Jacuzzi, a sauna, a solarium and relaxing massages. Guests are spoilt by the hotel's big offer of sporting activities. The hotel organises a diverse entertainment programme on a daily basis. There is a fine buffet available at breakfast and in the evening. In the evenings there is also an á la carte menu on offer. It is possible to book a half-board stay.
This hotel is suitable for cycling breaks and welcomes cyclists from all over the world. The hotel boasts facilities to support both the leisure and professional cyclist.

Second stay at viva blue - as good as ever
Another fantastic stay at viva blue.
Love the addition of the bouncing pillow since our last stay, so much for the kids to do (9 and 6).
Food delicious every night. Always lots of options and very tasty.
The animation team and fantastic and work so hard. Special thanks to Kiki and Laura for making my boys holiday so fun.
The cocktails and drink options are excellent for AI - fresh tasty cocktails. Torres, Kleiver and Alex on the bar are very good.
Our only downside this time is the lifeguards. There is a 30minute sunbed policy which we thought was ridiculous. We spent every day round the hotel pool and twice had all our bags, towels and floaties taken off our sunbeds. Once while we were swimming together in the pool and once while having lunch at the pool bar. The lifeguard was so rude and I showed him a photo of us in the pool to prove we had been there and he laughed in my face and walked away. My children were so upset and after this would not want to swim together as a family as they didn’t want the lifeguard taking their bags and toys.
We did raise with Anais at guest services who was very sympathetic but unfortunately it continued each day with the lifeguards and their clipboards. Perhaps a 2 hour policy would be better to stop reserving but allowing families to enjoy time together.
Other than that I could not fault the hotel and definitely will return

Great choice, caters for all needs
Loved our stay ant Viva Blue. Found it to be very clean, food very taste with a good range of choices ( I am a fussy eater and found something different each day) loved making poke bowels with a meat, pizza were really nice.always warm. Pools were good with sunbeds available not having to get up really early and loved how the lifeguards monitored this. System worked. Resort lets it down alittle just due to lack of bars around but can go into alcudia. Found buses ok, but taxis were a nightmare, they need to sort a taxi system out and currently doesn’t work.

Fantastic Family Resort – Outstanding Staff, Especially Carmen & Anaïs!
We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier. The rooms are beautiful and modern, and the whole resort is impeccably maintained. There are plenty of pool and water options for kids, which our children loved.
The staff truly stood out — warm, attentive, and quick to find solutions whenever needed. They genuinely care about the wellbeing of guests both big and small. When our daughter Maya had a small accident (a bump on her head), Guest Service reached out personally to check on her, sent a heartfelt card, and brought plushies for both our daughters. It’s a level of care we haven’t experienced anywhere else in all our years of traveling with kids. A huge thank you to Assistant Manager Carmen and especially Anaïs from Guest Service, who made us feel truly looked after.
The food was varied and delicious, with something for everyone. We also appreciated the water dispensers throughout the hotel and the bed guards provided for the children’s beds.
One small note: the sofa bed doesn’t have a fully connected sleeping surface, making it only partially suitable for children. That said, the team found a great workaround with several bed guards to keep our kids safe.
Overall, we felt completely at home and will definitely be back!

Very good pool and everything, staff is great and nice, food is excellent, really happy with everything.
We had a wonderful stay at Viva Blue & Spa. The hotel was very clean, the pools were excellent, and there were plenty of activities for both adults and children. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything we needed. The food offered a good variety and everything was well organized. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the facilities were well maintained. We really enjoyed our holiday and would definitely recommend this hotel to families and anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would happily come back again!

Lovely family holiday.
We would definitely recommend Viva Blue hotel and be happy to return. Great service, food was plentiful with a good selection. Hotel has a very relaxed vibe, no sun bed fighting as they have a strict 30 minute rule for sun beds unattended. I personally loved this as it meant sunbeds available still at 9am!! Great family hotel, more aimed at children under 11. 3 children’s pools, along with one large main pool and a separate pool for the Club Selection apartment block, Location was perfect, just tucked behind the main road, avoiding the hustle and bustle, avoiding the hustle and bustle. Thank you Viva Blue.
