I just wanted to write this review as I am here with my family of 3 children and came here 7 years ago and saw some bad reviews which worried me. I can safely say the pool area is clean with cleaners helping keep it lovely all day long, the rooms are also fabulous and cleaned daily with fresh towels. The food and entertainment are exceptional and with different themes each day there is an unbelievable amount of choice of fresh beautiful food to choose from. The kids entertainment and adults entertainment is absolutely fantastic and I cannot fault any of the staff for being so helpful and kind at all times. We are having the most wonderful stay here and there is so much for the kids and adults to do, it really is a beautiful resort and a lovely hotel. Really grateful to all the staff for the hard work in keeping it so lovely each day.
For the most part, we loved it. It is a fantastic place to bring the family on an all inclusive holiday, although there are some parts that are lacking. The evening entertainment is absolutely terrible, like, really terrible. The girls on stage can't read basic English words, it's extremely budget. Even the Micheal Jackson tribute (which was one of the best ones) was leaving a lot to be desired. The cleanliness was great, but to be honest, the public toilets could have been cleaner, however, that's no reflection on the hotel, but more the guests tbh. As far I'm concerned, all inclusive means all inclusive, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. You get more than enough to keep you going, but the limitations shouldn't exist. We decided to drink some cocktails, and at the pool bar I was charged 20€ for 2, then later charged 10.40€, then again 9.80€ (not in that order), so it seems they make it up as they go along for optional extras. We have really enjoyed our 11 night stay... would we come back?... definitely not, unfortunately. It is great, there's no denying that, but there are some things that just leave your experience toward the end thinking you deserve more for what you paid.
We're on our 4th day here and I cannot understand the bad reviews this hotel has received recently. It's clean, the food and entertainment are great and the beachside location is perfect. We're staying on a half board plus basis and the drinks we've bought so far have been fine. Beer and wine is included with our evening meal. The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. You would think that the poor reviews would demoralise the staff but they don't appear to have, they're always smiling!
Booked with TUI as a package holiday, saw the reviews but have come to realise most people use Trip Advisor for a moan, so decided to try it for ourselves. Biggest warning to others, do not go all inclusive! You are wasting your money, go half board! All inclusive doesn’t mean what it says, at the bars there’s about 4 drinks you can have and unless your drinking vodka, you pay for all other drinks, the food is not great, you only want breakfast and an evening meal, trust me, you are better going to the restaurants just outside the resort. Want something from the shop on site, have a bank loan ready! €45 for sun cream… walls are thin, we got no sleep. Infact as I write this now we are listening to a couple arguing in one room and a kid running up and down the hallway, it’s 7am. Staff are friendly and beach is beautiful, entertainment isn’t bad and there is plenty to do, had I not gone all inclusive and felt robbed it would perhaps be a 3*. I just wish I had listened to the other reviews on that front because the holiday was £3,250, then €300 for all inclusive and a further €700 for extra drink, food etc on site that all inclusive didn’t cover.
We stayed at TUI Blue Alcudia Pins for a week as a family and unfortunately, overall, we were disappointed. If booking Half Board Plus, be aware that drinks are only included with breakfast and dinner. Drinks from the bars during the day/evening aren’t included, which we felt wasn’t particularly clear unless you read the small print. Our room was disappointing. The bathroom had a chipped toilet, stained U-bend and damaged bath, there was a hair on the pillow and the sheets had holes in them. The “double” bed was actually two single beds pushed together with a gap between them, and the mattresses were extremely hard, making for a very uncomfortable night’s sleep. The food was the biggest let-down. It was very repetitive and rarely tasted fresh, with lots of food seeming reheated. Meat was often fatty and chewy, while chicken and turkey could be rubbery. There were also concerns about chicken not being fully cooked and chilled food looking poorly refrigerated. Food labelling was poor and many desserts weren’t identified. The drinks weren’t great either – Coke and beer were often flat, we had beer with bits floating in it, and the juice machine regularly had chunks coming out with the drinks. We also found the TUI representative difficult to contact and, despite raising our concerns, didn’t feel they were properly followed up. There were positives. The pools were fantastic, never felt too overcrowded and we could always find a sunbed. The direct beach access and foot-rinse area were excellent, and the evening entertainment was generally good, particularly the acrobatics and singers. The airport transfers were also comfortable and straightforward. Unfortunately, the positives didn’t outweigh the issues we experienced, and we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
