We have just returned from our fourth holiday in two years to this very special place in Ses Illetes. We had a great holiday at BonSol. Our accommodation was beautifully presented and the hotel and grounds were extremely well maintained. The choice of two restaurants were both able to cater for our different dietary requirements - vegetarian, gluten free / coeliac and two children. All the staff were always very friendly and helpful and they all worked hard to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Special thanks to Jose and Herbie who really did go above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Overall, it was a brilliant family holiday and we would love to go back and visit again!
This hotel is incredible. Beautiful surroundings, amazing staff, an absolute paradise. Cannot wait to return.
I went to Hotel Bon Sol with my mother and sister. The hotel is like a castle and has such character it us really nice. Our room was bug and spacious. And they provide free water which you can take from around the hotel. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety but it starts too late and shot time just a 2 hour slot 8 till 10. There is a small gym has everything you need which is nice.
The hotel is huge so it will take time to get from one place to another and if there is no electricity be prepared for alot of stairs. Herby abd Jose are the greatest waiters ever. They were the best, funny, outgoing and always smiling. The rest of the staff needs some work as very few helped with a smile and some were rude for no reason. To be fair they are working long hours and lots of days after each other.
They offer yoga but its at 9pm so there is no time to enjoy a relaxing breakfast and yoga. Breakfast should start at 7.00am at least.
The pool needs some cleaning on the top part as it was green, other than that it was clean.
Dinner was great really good quality fo a half board the only thing is that portions were way to small. And in the restaurants they don't offer coffee you have to go to the bar which is not cool having to walk back up and down..
All in all it was great we really enjoyed it. Some small things to improve and it would be impeccable
A hotel full of charm laid out down a hillside, with different levels of facility all accessed by several lifts. A very personal attention from all of the staff, and owners makes a stay at the Bon Sol a pleasure. Comfortable rooms , excellent dining , either in an old world Spanish style dining room or by the sea in a more modern style. Live music while you dine is a delight. It is more like a private club than a seaside hotel. Do not miss an opportunity to book a stay at the Bon Sol, you will not be disappointed. There are plenty of good quality sun beds by the side of a couple of very good swimming pools, with trees and parasol for shade and one with a friendly bar.
