The perfect base for your Mallorca trip
Came here with my two friends this August for a girls trip to Mallorca and I have to say this was the perfect base!
Located so conveniently between Palma and Palmanova, it made getting out on a night so easy. While the rest of the time we used our rental car.
We found the staff lovely, we immediately felt welcome and looked after. Shout out to Carlos from the poolside bar for providing excellent service!!
The room itself was very spacious, with really good aircon - it was such a necessity in the August heat. We had a beautiful balcony which looked onto the port, the balcony itself was a very generous size, we lovely getting ready together on a night here.
The breakfast buffet provided everything you could want, from pastries, fresh fruit, hot selection and coffee, smoothie machine. They even had Cava out for making a morning Mimosa - I’ve never seen this anywhere else, it was such an added touch of luxury!
Overall the food served from breakfast, the restaurant and the drinks from the pool bar were great. Exactly what you’d want when looking for a good start to your day or a relaxed evening in.
There’s a shop just across the road from the hotel which is great for picking up little things like water, juice, alcohol, snacks and souvenirs. Having this on the doorstep was such a great benefit. On top of this you also have a 24/7 vending machine in the hotel with snacks and a selection of essentials.
I don’t often consider revisiting a hotel after first stay, purely down to wanting to try new places - however the experience at Hotel Amic Horizonte was so special that I honestly would go back again soon. Thank you so much to the team, it was such a lovely stay and part of the trip we’ll remember forever!!
Lovely and relaxing
Lovely hotel. A few bits and pieces to do, tea and coffee in room , tidy up areas and it would soon be a 4*. Lovely relaxing atmosphere. My husband and I visited in mid August and the hotel was very quiet. Lots of sun beds and not rowdy at all. It is 10€ in a taxi to the center or a 45-60 minutes (2 mile) walk down steep roads/steps., but if you don’t go high you won’t get the spectacular view of the cathedral and the harbour !
Lovely friendly hotel.
The hotel staff were lovely, always engaging and helpful from the front desk to the restaurant staff. The pool area was nice with plenty of beds and seating in the sun and shade. The room was nice, shame the TV didn’t support Netflix which we have got used to having in most hotels. The only thing to be aware of is that it is a 40 minute walk to the main area - downhill and I would recommend a taxi up due to steepness of the hill! You do have a lovely view of the port due to the location on the hill. You will need to have breakfast as there is nothing else around really.

Excellent vacation because the hotel was excellent
Lovely hotel, fresh,clean, the rooms are a good size, bathroom was very clean, great having 2 basins. So many facilities at your fingertips. The food was superb, freshly prepared and the buffet style breakfast was refreshed, regularly so there wasn't stale/cold food left out. But for me the standout feature of the hotel were the staff, every single one I had interactions with, from housekeeping to daily managers, were polite, kind, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and you genuinely felt wanted, nothing was too much trouble for them to ensure your stay was perfect. Can't recommend this hotel enough.
Amic Horizonte hotel
Our stay at Amic Hotel Horizonte was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were comfortable, and the food was excellent.
The highlight was the breathtaking view of the port from the large balcony, especially at sunset. The pool, gym, and breakfast were all great as well. Overall, a wonderful experience and an easy 5 stars.
We would happily return.
