Set just steps from the crystal clear waters and wide stretch of sand at Palmanova beach, this family-friendly hotel offers the perfect vacation spot on the sunny island of Mallorca. Families will delight in the four outdoor pools, including a large lagoon-style pool, children's pool and paddling pool for toddlers, and the hotel offers a full programme of entertainment with parties, evening shows and live music for adults and children alike. There is also a nursery and Flintstones-themed multi-adventure children's park. The two main restaurants offer rich and varied buffets with show cooking and international and regional dishes, while the pool bar and lounge bar serve a wide choice of drinks, juices and ice creams. This hotel's excellent facilities, services and location make it ideal for enjoying a carefree family holiday and discovering the most beautiful corners of the Mediterranean.
Enjoy recreational amenities such as an outdoor pool and bicycles to rent. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, an arcade/games room and a television in a common area.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Sadly, this hotel was a huge disappointment and I would not return.
The rooms are extremely small. We were travelling as a family and the lack of space was so bad that one of our children had to sleep in my mum’s room with her and another child. There was nowhere suitable to store our cases, so they had to go on the balcony, which then meant we could barely use the balcony at all.
One of the “beds” is actually a chair that converts into a bed. Once it is opened, it blocks the drawers and makes accessing the balcony extremely difficult. I honestly cannot imagine how somebody with mobility problems would manage in these rooms, and I would strongly recommend anyone with reduced mobility checks very carefully before booking.
The air conditioning was also nowhere near adequate. We stayed for 10 days and our bedding was not changed once, which I found unacceptable.
The drinks system was another frustration. You have to use tokens and drinks are served in paper cups, which felt incredibly cheap and inconvenient for a holiday we had paid a lot of money for.
The whole experience felt cramped and uncomfortable rather than relaxing. We spent far too much of the holiday trying to work around the lack of space, poor air conditioning and impractical room layout.
We’ve stayed in plenty of hotels and don’t expect perfection, but we do expect a room that is fit for the number of people it is sold for. In my opinion, these rooms simply are not.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel and certainly wouldn’t return.
Had an excellent stay mid August. While it was peak season and busy the layout and social spaces where really good and plenty. This hotel is in a brilliant location, really close to the beach, shops and bars. Sofia on check-in was very helpful and welcoming. The animation team are very friendly and encouraging without being over pushy. Evening entertainment is really good our youngest really enjoyed the kids disco every night. Travelling as a family of 5 (2 teenagers and a 7 year old) we found the food to be excellent. Loads of variety every day at each service. My personal favourite was the choice of fish at lunch and dinner. Token system works really well and the bar staff are all very friendly. Small rooms but fine for 7 days. We stayed in Sol 2 lifts were a bit slow but not crazy. Sunbeds are plentiful but poolside locations go quickly. Deck chairs by the kids pool are always available and really comfortable. Overall I would recommend this hotel to family and friends and Palma Nova is a lovely resort.
⭐ 1 STAR – NOTHING LIKE THE ADVERT
Extremely disappointing and, quite frankly, nothing like the hotel shown or described in the advert.
The room was ridiculously cramped and barely big enough for two people, yet I had to squeeze my granddaughter into the room as she couldn’t fit comfortably in with her own family. There was simply nowhere near enough space. Our suitcases had to be kept on the balcony, which then left hardly any room to actually use it.
The air conditioning was very poor, and there was even a broken chair in the room. To make matters worse, the bedding was not changed once during our 10-day stay.
For an all-inclusive hotel, having to use tokens just to get a cup for drinks was also ridiculous and inconvenient.
If you have any mobility issues, I would strongly advise you to avoid this hotel. The rooms are so cramped that getting around would be extremely difficult.
The biggest issue is that the accommodation we actually experienced did not match the impression given by the advert at all. The photographs and description make it look far more spacious and comfortable than it really is.
Overall, extremely disappointing. We paid for an all-inclusive holiday expecting a reasonable standard of accommodation and instead felt completely let down. I would not return and would not recommend this hotel.
We had a great holiday, I find it frustrating that people complain about silly things. The token system is happening in most hotels these days has been in every hotel we have stayed for the last 4 yrs and it serves well for keeping the pool areas clean rather than folk not tidying aftet themselves and leaving glasses all over for kids to get hurt. The rooms yes I agree are a little on the smaller side, however what a lot of people don't realise is that most rooms are for 3 people (unless you pay more for a larger family room). And when you book as a group of say 6 people, potentially expecting 1 room for 4 people and the other for 2 unless you specifically book the family rooms then this won't be allocated. You will get 2x rooms with 3 beds. We did make this mistake ourselves having booked 5 rooms for 15 people. We had 3 x families of 4 (expecting to be in a room each and then 2 more rooms for the grandparents. After reading reviews we soon realised we had made an error, our fault though so just moved a child from each room in with their grandparents and cracked on having the best holiday. Great pool vibes, excellent entertainment and close to beach. Enjoyed our stay.
Was apprehensive about coming after reading reviews. We are currently here and have had a great time. Family of 3, yea room is small but we weren’t in there much.lovely sea view was a nice suprise, Buffet style food was plentiful and we always found something we liked. Pool does get busy but always had a lounger every day. Shout out to the staff who helped me when my daughter got lost. They kept her safe and we were reunited in 10 minutes, thank you. It’s been a lovely holiday and have no complaints.
