I have recently returned from a week away at this hotel on a half board basis, the staff were excellent, the hotel was clean and tidy. The rooms were very nice with comfy beds. The location of the hotel to the beach and shops was a key point. The quality of the food and the presentation was exceptional, clearly the staff know their trade and can deliver food of an excellent quality However all food that should be hot on every sitting during the week was cold, the hot water for tea was always lukewarm and needed to be microwaved. Based on previous reviews I am sure the PR person for the hotel will come back and state we provide a microwave - Why do I want to microwave Chips, Pancakes, Bacon, Eggs, Fish etc - This may warm the food but creates food that is inedible. I would think in a four star hotel I could have hot food, based on this reason only I wouldn't return - This is a shame considering the exceptional staff you employ.

On arrival to the hotel nothing was explained where anything was nor was the meal times explained, no booklet in room explaining either. The positives are certainly outweighed with negatives, the pool was adequate but had a ridiculous opening time of 10am with some guests sitting around a pool for a couple of hours with a chain going round posts on the pool perimeter, one particular lifeguard who was the older woman was very rude and militant, I asked why the pool was closing at 6pm and we was told 7pm and she said that's only July and August, she had a go at 2 woman shouting to get out the pool, blowing her whistle standing on a sunbed and taking photos of the women in the pool for the management, this was totally not right it was 17.53 she was shouting to get out. There isn't a poolside bar and once again guests that have sat around the pool can't get a drink of any kind until 10 30am half an hour after pool finally opening which can mean 2 hours or more waiting for a drink if round the pool from 8.30am, the cocktails were rubbish pre made and weak unless you paid for what they have pictures of, very small plastic beakers for refill soft drinks and beer etc,I asked for a bigger beaker to be told to pay €3.90 for it even though I was all inclusive, the lady behind the bar is a sweetheart and a asset to the hotel, the snack food seemed to be some leftovers from breakfast, hard bacon, battered veg,cold chips, hot dogs and burgers were available. The main restaurant food i found repetitive boring and luke warm, there was the first 2 nights that I actually enjoyed a Chinese night and then American, apart from that I found the food didn't have flavour, meat salty, the worse part of it was luke warm, chips,potato slices , fried eggs cold unless you waited for the chef to transfer off their hot plate and take immediately, no prawns all week, no pineapple all week. The entertainment had one decent lady singer who sang earlier in the week. Dana is a fantastic woman who works so well to make people happy, had fun playing table tennis with her , she works hard be it outside, inside around the stage or seeing guests into the restaurant and deserves to be looked after well, the location was good for the beach and bars if you wish, the room was ok ,air con worked well,if you want to use the little safe in the wardrobe expect to pay which is a joke,this isn't a 4 star definitely basic and a 3 star, won't be returning to the Globales Panama
We spent one night at this adult only hotel after our return flight was cancelled. The Reception staff and management were welcoming and gave relief to a very stressful situation. The bedroom was large and comfortable with a good rain shower. Breakfast was average but we enjoyed lunch - plenty of choice. The situation of the hotel is close to the promenade and in a nice area with shops and bars.
Firstly, on appearance the hotel is very clean. Reception staff tell you very basic information on arrival, not good enough in my opinion. Food was ok, not 4 star, drinks also not 4 star. I have stayed in 3 star hotels that are the same if not better. I have never stayed at an all inclusive that has left over food as bar snacks, or that doesn't offer ice cream throughout the day. There was no bottled water available in the rooms. Entertainment was by far the worst ive ever experienced, the girl who did the Entertainment did try her best, but for 4 star I'd of expected on animation team not just 1 person and a good selection of acts at night not rubbish quizzes every other night and kareoke type singers. All in all a very disappointing experience, I certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel.
