Fergus Style Tobago

We arrived late and immediately luggage taken from us which was a nice touch. We were put in a room on a low floor which was an accessible room with handrails for the toilet and an open shower which we thought was a bit strange as we didn’t request or need this. We questioned this at reception and were moved straight away to another room on a higher floor which was much better. Unfortunately we found a towel covered in blood under the sink unit which must have belonged to the previous occupants of the room, that wasn’t very nice but again this was sorted straight away with a cleaner sent to our room to remove it and then an apology with a bottle of wine delivered to our door. The hotel in general is lovely but we aren’t quite sure why or how it has the 5 star label. It was our first time in a 5 star hotel so we had high hopes but couldn’t find anything really that made it any better than the 4 stars that we’ve stayed in before. We were bed and breakfast, good selection and good coffee! The pool area was average, the paving could have done with a good scrub and there was an absolutely rancid smell of drains that seemed to drift around in the afternoon, not like the usual drain smell that you get in Spain. The rooftop bar was lovely and the views from up there were something else! Stunning! Would we stay again? Probably not with that price tag as we felt it was expensive for what it was.

Fabulous seafront location, within walking distance of bars & restaurants also nearer to Magaluf than central Palma Nova however that shouldn’t put anyone off as there’s no noise or anything that would impact your stay, the rooms are fresh and everything you need for a couple including water , coffee pods, teabags etc which are replenished daily , toiletries, hairdryer, beautiful big robes & slippers, a good value for money hotel but the drinks are pretty pricey but I suppose that’s the norm in a 5 star hotel, we went on a half board package (unusual for us) as the deal was very much worth it, the breakfast options are plentiful with something to suit everyone, we ate in 4 nights out of 6 as the evening meals were superb, the whole hotel is very clean, fresh & airy, and the rooms are cleaned to a high standard daily, we had a few minor issues which were addressed promptly, we would absolutely return here in the future and would recommend to others, a high end accommodation in our opinion.

A lovely hotel and easily the best stay I’ve had in Mallorca. The rooms are great, and the sea view is exactly what you hope for when you open the curtains on the first morning. Food was excellent throughout, and the staff are the real difference. Genuinely welcoming, friendly, and they can’t do enough to make your stay memorable.

I got lucky too. I hadn’t realised the solar eclipse was happening during my stay, and I ended up watching it from the sky bar. The hotel handed out certified eclipse glasses to all guests free of charge, which was a brilliant touch and completely unprompted.

The rest of the week I’ve spent swimming in the pool for hours, with a pool bar providing food and drinks and of course a first class service!

When I come back to Palmanova I won’t stay anywhere else. I absolutely loved it.
