Occupying a prime location on the west coast of Majorca in a peaceful part of Magaluf, the HSM Don Juan is just 400 metres from the resorts gorgeous white-sand beach and a short walk from the vibrant resort centre with its excellent selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
HSM Don Juan offers a large outdoor swimming pool with a section for children and a nicely furnished terrace for sunbathing. Guests will enjoy dining in the spacious restaurant which offers a large variety of dishes, some of which you can watch be carefully prepared with the restaurants show cooking.
Refurbished double en-suite rooms at the Don Juan are air-conditioned/heated with a balcony or terrace. Rooms are equipped with satellite TV, phone, hairdryer, safe* and Wi-Fi*.
Magaluf, on the west side of the island, and it is a real summer paradise to spend your holidays in Mallorca. Very close to HSM Don Juan is a a ton of activities for holiday makers to enjoy, including a gorgeous white-sand beach and an excellent selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. There is also a nearby waterpark with great bus connections.
Firstly we booked this hotel not knowing that it was the previous Don Juan, Which I know had some bad reviews, with that said I only have positive opinions on this hotel, we Took a Private transfer to the hotel from the airport ( Costing 45 Euros) Upon arrival at 11.15am our room was ready.
We were allocated room 201 which was a beautiful spacious room with pool view, All rooms have soundproof windows and no noise was heard from the pool (The best air con I have ever had in Magaluf) This hotel is located away from the Strip so you are out of the way from the crowds but was a pleasant 15 minute walk to Palma Nova -10 Minutes to Magaluf beach
Pool Area was lovely and clean, And the pool is so refreshing, with the option of the Jacuzzi. There is no sunbed wars in the Tangerine! House Music is played round the pool from 12-4 which isn't to loud its all very chilled. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday Tangerine is definatly going to give you that the décor around this hotel is absolutely vibing - very much my style with a huge reception and plenty of contempary seating and photo opportunities.
Unlimited Bruch is from 8:30-13:30pm - which has so much choice, from continental breakfast, Full English Breakfast & Pastries, accompanied by Tea, Coffee, Hot chocolate, Fruit juices, freshly squeezed orange juice and waters - there is something for everyone. the Food then changes throughout the morning and more of a brunch is added - Toasties, Quiche Etc
Staff are so friendly and helpful & nothing is to much for them... Whilst having a pool day we have rebooked the Tangerine for my birthday! If I didnt rate it I wouldn't return!
Hotel is immaculately clean & I mean immaculate! I believe it deserves more stars than it has. Please don't be put off by the previous name! Tangerine is not Don Juan
Just arrived home after 4 days at this hotel. Very clean, staff seemed friendly. We were able to use the restaurant/buffet until 1 30pm which was great. Short walk, approx 10 mins to the beach. Nice touch as we waited to be picked up at 6.30am we were offered coffee. Would return Thank you
This hotel should be ranked higher than 3 stars for sure! Without repeating myself from previous review about amenities etc….. Thank you to ALL the amazing STAFF. you guys have been amazing and truly made our holiday - from the reception staff (Rebecca & Abdul particular), the barmen Cecil & Alejandro (Charlie the previous visits) you guys are fantastic! And also the cleaning ladies and all staff in the food hall. You guys make it what it is. Already looking to book again multiple times next year. We thoroughly enjoyed every day and look forward to seeing you again soon! Massive thanks again.
We stayed late August 2026. We were not disappointed! From Arrival to departure the staff were amazing. Every one making our holiday a memorable and stress free time. The hotel being newly refurbished in such a high standard throughout. You would not think you were in a 3 star hotel. I won’t repeat everything as many others on the reviews have covered the details of rooms etc which we agree with totally other than the bed was so comfortable linen and towels were fantastic! The food and drink was excellent, only positive criticism is to have hot plates to keep food warm. Although it is freshly cooked. The food quality and choice is amazing with excellent coffee machines. Cocktails were amazing and our favourite days relaxing around the stunning pool in comfy beds with live dj with a chilled vibe. Loved the attention to detail which will make us return to your hotel when we can!
The perfect getaway! I visit Majorca 3-6 times a year and booked premium rooms at this hotel in June with another couple, and then in August with my older children and due to return 2nd sept for the third time with more family. Rooms are fantastic - beds are comfy. Brunch is superb and fully stocked all morning/afternoon. Cocktails are well made and great ambience. Will for sure book again with no hesitation!
