What a week. The hotel was fab, everywhere was clean, food was tasty and all the staff were always so polite and friendly. Snack bar had fresh food made to order, plenty of sun beds for all without having to get up early to claim a bed. The splash pool ensured my children were happy all week, and the daytime entertainment and activities were good and something for everyone. Would definitely come back again. Thank you for a lovely family holiday.
A very good stay.
Recent improvements to the decor downstairs have definitely made a difference for the better.
Raquel is the star of this place!
Reception staff helpful.
Overall hotel is clean. One room was not clean and had to move.
Things to improve:
Gaps on doors into room need addressing this would reduce noise from corridor and potential pest control
Allowing soft drinks at breakfast and tea and coffee with evening meal for all-inclusive guests in the restaurant would be great.
After a brutal 13-hour travel ordeal and flight delays, we finally rolled into the hotel at 2 AM. Naturally, there was only one receptionist working—a person clearly being paid by the minute, given that checking in took a excruciating 30 to 45 minutes. Absolutely ideal when you're managing a completely exhausted six-year-old. The rooms are as tired as we were, complete with visible wear-and-tear and zero soundproofing. I know this because our neighbors kindly provided an unprompted 7 AM wakeup call. Hoping to sweat off the annoyance, I wandered down to the "gym." As other reviews warned, it’s not a gym; it’s a graveyard of missing and broken equipment. I genuinely wondered if I’d accidentally walked into the hotel’s lost-and-found. So far, this place is a hard pass. If by some miracle things turn around during the rest of our stay, I’ll update this—but I’m not holding my breath.
Very disappointing experience from the very first day
Today is our first day at this hotel and, unfortunately, our experience has been extremely negative from the very beginning.
After check-in, we were given a room that smelled extremely strongly of silicone and fresh paint/work. It was so intense that it was practically impossible to stay in the room comfortably. I am pregnant and we are travelling with two small children, aged two and three, so I find it completely unacceptable and irresponsible to give a family with young children a room where renovation work had clearly been carried out that same day.
When we complained, we were told that previous guests had scratched the walls, so the hotel had to repaint them that day, and that we should simply open the window and let the room air out. We were eventually offered another room, but unfortunately, it did not look anything like what we would expect from a four-star hotel either.
The walls were damaged and covered with scratches, the towels were not clean, and we even found a used cotton swab left in the wardrobe by the previous guests. These details raise serious questions about the standard of housekeeping and room maintenance.
The overall cleanliness of the hotel is also inconsistent. So far, the most positive experience has been the cleanliness of the children’s pool and the kids’ play area. However, the cleanliness of the main swimming pool is definitely not at the standard we would expect from a four-star hotel.
We expected much more, especially considering the hotel’s category and the fact that we are travelling with two very young children. Unfortunately, we are extremely disappointed already on our first day and feel that the level of service, room maintenance and cleanliness is far below what a four-star hotel should provide.
I’ve been to 6 all inclusive holidays/hotels over the past 7 years and this one is the BEST I’ve ever been to! Staff are lovely and you can have banter with them. The room is clean, the pool area is clean and the pool toilets are the cleanest I’ve ever been in. There’s lots to do at this hotel. Over the 7 days we were here we did something every single day. The location of the hotel is perfect, in the areas around the hotel there’s activities to do for adults and children. Also in the hotel there is a mixture of single people, couples and families which is great to see. The ONLY negative is that the walls/celling are a bit thin. On the first night our neighbours were arguing, we reported it to the front desk, they wrote a report and we didn’t hear them again. Also we were on the 8th floor so could hear the people above us moving furniture. Also I don’t think this is classed as a negative, but the food is practically the same everyday BUT it is cooked to a high standard, seasoned and hot. There was one night out of the 7 where they did Chinese and it was delicious. So if you like the same food everyday this hotel is definitely for you! But if you like different food everyday there’s lots of restaurants near by. We will be coming here again and we can’t wait!
