This hotel enjoys a magnificent, peaceful location on the edge of C'an Picafort, situated directly on the kilometre-long, sand dune beach. It takes just a few minutes along the beach promenade to reach the centre of the holiday resort with its scores of shops and other attractions. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel while the airport is about 55 km away. Built in 1992 and completely renovated in 2014, the hotel offers 246 rooms and 62 apartments, equipped with convenient amenities that guests may need during the stay. All rooms feature a terrace/balcony with views of the sea or the wood. There are two fresh water pools in the garden with a separate children's pool, and for the less sunny days or a warm indoor swimming pool for the colder days.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages and body treatments. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 3 outdoor swimming pools, a health club and a sauna. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and an arcade/games room.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We can recommend the hotel for a family vacation at the beach. We had a suite with sea view, which consists for two rooms that were merged: one bedroom and one room with a sleeper couch. The hotel kindly put a third bed in the bedroom for our kid, so we were able to use the couch for sitting. There is a nice animation program for kids. The pool is large, but it can be diffcult to find a free sunbed late in the morning or in the early afternoon. There is a convenient public bus to the airport.
First of all I would like to say this hotel is far from a 4 star and closer to 2 star plus at best. The hotel reception is clean and modern but the rest of the hotel is run down and in major need of a refit especially the self catering block, the rooms are worn, tired and look they were revamped on cheap a few years ago, pocket doors don’t fit the main door into the apartment doesn’t fit and allows the corridor light to light up the room all night where the kids sleep.light switches fall apart due to door handles hitting them. Air conditioning is nothing more than a warm trickle of air from a disgusting looking old air vent. The curtains had blood stains on them. Balcony is tiny with dirty broken glass and can only accommodate 2 people which is bizarre as the room accommodates 4 people. We did book a side sea view but to enjoy the views we had to take turns. The pool area is ok but in serious need of maintenance around the upper decked area with rotting cracked wood, screws sticking out and slippy slimy areas around pool steps. Plenty of sun beds but you have to be up early to secure your spot. The beach is a short walk from the pool but be warned signs all over state sun beds can not be reserved between the hours of 10.00-18.00 so leave them at your own risk. Breakfast is grim as it is mainly catered for the continental customer. Awful bacon, small strange sausages change on a daily basis, queues for the only 1 working toaster which you have to put bread round twice to get anything resembling toast, queues for drinks due to poor coffee machine maintenance and glasses regularly run out for the juice machines. Dirty plates, cups and glasses covered in dirty dish water and bits of food is common place. All in all this is far from value for money and I feel extremely ripped off that this was sold to me as a 4 star. On our last day we requested to keep our room on a few hours as we had a late flight home, the hotel would not give us an answer on this until the morning of our departure which they refused. I asked if they had shower and changing facilities to which they advised we could use the spar for this, so I asked if we could book a slot at 5pm to use the facilities only to be told this wasn’t possible as the spar closes at 4pm. We ended up having to shower at 3pm which meant we had to sit around and wait for 4 hours for our pick up unable to enjoy the facilities. On a positive note the room cleaning staff keep the rooms very clean and work really hard. The location of the hotel is also really good, short walk onto one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited and only a 10 minute walk to all the shops, bars and restaurants. Would I recommend this hotel ? Certainly not.
This hotel is great. The hotel is on the edge if the Can Picafort resort so easy to access bars, shops, restaurants but not in the thick of it. It was very clean with thorough daily room cleans. All the staff were absolutely EXCELLENT and couldn't be more polite and helpful. We booked for bed and breakfast and the breakfast was great in terms of both choice and taste. It's so close to a gorgeous beach with clear blue water. There's loads to do such as enjoy the spa, walk in the nearby nature reserve or travel on the bus to nearby attractions. It's one of the few hotels I would considering visiting again. Pools were great. Some sunbed politics but the hotel do put signs up saying not to reserve beds so not really their fault. We travelled with our two teens who had a blast.
Hotel in the best location clean chambermaid really good . Bed was excellent Reception and service very good Food also good. If I had anything to complain about would be the top pool and decking needs some attention. Would I go back there !! Yes definitely.
Really well organised, excellent food and service, great location & facilities, particularly the room cleaners. Possible improvement - more breakfast teabags & a lot less of the specialist ones, which were hardly used
