This hotel enjoys a magnificent, peaceful location on the edge of C'an Picafort, situated directly on the kilometre-long, sand dune beach. It takes just a few minutes along the beach promenade to reach the centre of the holiday resort with its scores of shops and other attractions. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel while the airport is about 55 km away. Built in 1992 and completely renovated in 2014, the hotel offers 246 rooms and 62 apartments, equipped with convenient amenities that guests may need during the stay. All rooms feature a terrace/balcony with views of the sea or the wood. There are two fresh water pools in the garden with a separate children's pool, and for the less sunny days or a warm indoor swimming pool for the colder days.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages and body treatments. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 3 outdoor swimming pools, a health club and a sauna. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and an arcade/games room.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Excellent hotel. Many facilities. Always clean and tidy in hotel and accommodation. Staff were very helpful. Entertainment day and evening was varied and enjoyable. Room staff came in daily - emptied bins, changed towels, made beds and cleaned. Bedding changed very often. Excellent system whereby the room key card was also a ‘tap’ card for any spending in reception, bars, restaurants and shop and could be settled at check out. Great position just a few minutes walk to beach. Resort centre and beach bars/restaurants.
Nice location, quite not meny children, rooms are nice have stayed here 3 times in 2 bed apartment that was very nice private bath room for each of the bedrooms, single room very nice larger than most i have stayed in, also the 1 bed suite with balcony that was very nice.
Had a twelve day holiday with family and could not have found a better location . Situated at the end of the strip but so close to walking into the centre with an array of bars , shops and restaurants. There’s a bridge that connects the hotel to the beach with very safe bathing. The pools are lovely and has a peaceful setting apart from the aqua aerobics and games for a very short time with music . Bar area plentiful during the day and evening with excellent bar staff that serve cocktails and fantastic ice creams for a treat. There’s also a handy shop on site for buying drinks and snacks and not forgetting the cafe near the beach that sell pizzas etc. Rooms good standard , smaller rooms for couples with mini fridge but family rooms very good with fridge freezer and cooking appliances, kettle etc. The hotel good value but it depends on how you spend your money , eg fancy restaurants or simple takeaway but the hotel does offer half board. The rooms are very clean and the maids wonderful ( my room 1324) . Big thank you to the ladies. Never heard any loud noise on an evening and slept wonderful. All services and amenities very good and I would return to EIX PLATJA DAURADA HOTEL . Happy customer
Really well organised, excellent food and service, great location & facilities, particularly the room cleaners. Possible improvement - more breakfast teabags & a lot less of the specialist ones, which were hardly used
Hotel in the best location clean chambermaid really good . Bed was excellent Reception and service very good Food also good. If I had anything to complain about would be the top pool and decking needs some attention. Would I go back there !! Yes definitely.
