They are perfectly equipped with all the essential amenities to have the best and most unforgettable experience.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Well we would not say this is a 4 star hotel, the rooms and surroundings where worn down and it's in a need a sprouts up again. Where a mildew smell in the room bathroom and pool area. Staff was not very service minded or nice at all, I asked about the sun lounge reservation that is absolutely happening and they have a snide answer, same when we notified that our room (417) had an awful good smell all the time. Staff seemed very tired but not all of course. Then there is the biggest issue, sun lounge reservations, if you want to be by the pool you will have to be there at 07.30-08.00 and no there is not enough chairs for everyone but there is also two other levels with chairs and used by maybe 09.00 latest. When the swim guard arrived he went around and did a half hearted attempt to remove the reserved towels but didn't do much by that time. Big issue is also that the pool is cleaned and area around is cleaned but on very different times from day to day, they should have that the pool and area around the pool, does not open until 09.00 since the cleaning is not done by 09.00-09.30 and then the pool opens for swimming. Also there is a hidden fee for the pool towels, you need to place a deposit 10 EUR each towel but when you want them changed the hotel takes 1 EUR each towel to be replaced! Insane for how you are paying to be there, they claim this is a sustainable fee. Bring your own beach towels because that was ridiculous...
Otherwise the breakfast was alright and lunch also but not much more than that.
Location is great though! Just a minute walk and you are by the beach and restaurants and very close to the airport which of course you will notice but not that it was annoying at all.
My friends and I, all 19 years old, stayed at this hotel for a week. I understand that there's a common prejudice that younger guests are only there to party, but that wasn't the case with us. It constantly felt like we had to prove that we belonged in this adults-only hotel.
At the pool, we definitely got some judgmental looks from older guests, even though we were quiet and well-behaved. One guest even commented on my body as I walked past him, saying, "Oh no, what's wrong with her?" This may have been because I have visible scars and wear an insulin pump.
We also felt that the staff wasn't particularly welcoming toward us. Their interactions with us were very different from the way they spoke to older guests. We often received short, uninterested replies to our questions, and it felt like we were more of an inconvenience than valued guests. However, one of the cleaning ladies was incredibly kind and welcoming. She always greeted us with a smile, and we really appreciated her friendliness.
On our first day, we noticed ants in our room. We didn't want to bother the staff (which, in hindsight, was our mistake), so we didn't report it to reception. The number of ants remained small at first. However, during our last few days, our room wasn't cleaned one day, which made the ant problem worse. We had also ordered food to the room, which may have contributed to the issue, although we were careful not to leave any food on the floor. The ants were mostly attracted to small crumbs.
When we finally reported the problem, the receptionist told us not to order food to the hotel. As someone with type 1 diabetes, it's very important for me to eat regularly. The heat was also affecting my blood sugar levels, and walking elsewhere to get food could have made things more difficult. We were told that the cleaning lady would come shortly, but we waited about three hours. When she finally arrived, she hadn't even been informed about the ants, so we had to explain the situation ourselves.
The sunbeds were almost always occupied, even though there were signs saying that reserving them wasn't allowed. We reserved sunbeds once before breakfast, and when we returned to the pool less than three hours later, the lifeguard told us he was about to remove our towels and reminded us not to reserve sunbeds for more than 24 hours. Since our towels had only been there for a short time, this once again reinforced the feeling that we weren't particularly welcome.
One final thing that stood out was our departure. When we checked out, no one asked how our stay had been or wished us a safe journey. A simple "Did you enjoy your stay?" or "We hope to see you again" would have made a big difference. Instead, the checkout felt just as impersonal as much of the rest of our experience, which left us with the feeling that our stay as younger guests wasn't particularly valued.
On the positive side, the breakfast was good and we enjoyed it. The rooms were a bit small, but that wasn't an issue for us. The hotel had a modern atmosphere, and we appreciated that it was adults-only, without very young children. The location was also excellent, being very close to the airport.
The j s palma is a great hotel me and my wife stayed there last year the staff Maria the manager were excellent if you wanted something they would do there very best to achieve your requirements we were there last week watching the World Cup the atmosphere was amazing especially for the Spain game on Friday we would really recommend this hotel for adults only very very clean should be a five star ⭐ very well done to all the staff from cleaner’s bar staff room attendant everybody ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
2nd stay at this Fantastic hotel very clean and low noise level service throughout stay brilliant location is good only downside is on both stays unable to get a sunbed on any day as towels were placed on every bed very early
We had an excellent short break at Hotel JS Palma Stay and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
As an adults-only hotel, it had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Everything was clean, modern, and exceptionally well maintained. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and were always friendly, helpful, and happy to assist with anything we needed.
Our room was comfortable, spotless, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We also made good use of the spa facilities, which were excellent. A special mention goes to the team at the swim-up bar, who were always cheerful, attentive, and helped make our afternoons by the pool even more enjoyable.
We chose the half-board option and were really impressed with both the breakfast and evening buffet. There was plenty of choice, with fresh, tasty food every day. Lunch is available at the hotel for an additional cost, but there are also lots of great tapas bars and restaurants nearby if you fancy eating out.
The pool area was one of our favourite places to relax. With a swim-up bar, leisure pool, jacuzzi, and a smaller shallow pool, it was the perfect spot to cool off while enjoying a good book.
The location couldn't have been better—just a short taxi ride from the airport, within easy walking distance of the beach, and ideally situated for exploring the local area.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. We'd happily recommend Hotel JS Palma Stay to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable holiday in Mallorca.
