Js Palma Stay

I had a wonderful solo stay in this lovely hotel a few weeks back, spacious rooms , spotlessly clean and lovely friendly staff.

I was concerned about tje sunbed situation, and yes there's is definitely alot gone by 830 am , but I sis always find somewhere. The lifeguard does however police it quite well and seen numerous people come back to there items being moved!

The food really was excellent quality, I stayed half board and the selection was brilliant, meat and fish cooked fresh on the grill was great.

Location is perfect , yes close to the airport but the overhead noise was never an issue.

My only gripe was checkout time being 11am was the earliest I've seen in any hotel I've stayed and wit no option for a late checkout was frustrating with an evening flight, that being said it wouldn't stop me returning.

As a solo traveller , felt so safe and comfortable and would definitely recommend!

I have just returned from a wonderful stay at this hotel. We stayed for 4 nights on a half board basis and everything was pretty much perfect. Check in was very pleasant and prompt, we arrived at 1am due to flight delays but food had been saved for us which was very thoughtful. Our room (605) was fantastic, pool and sea view, modern and very clean. The rooms are compact but sufficient for a 4 night stay. We did have an ant problem but it was dealt with promptly and efficiently. Food was really good, lots of space and nice air con in the dining area. I’d say breakfast could be slightly better for British guests but you won’t go hungry. Dinner was fantastic, so many choices and fab quality - buffet basis too! The pools were lovely, though sun bed wars is real! I ended up having to go down at 7:30am and it was still slim pickings. Halfway through our stay a lifeguard was on duty that removed towels if not occupied. However with this came an inflatable ban, as a non swimmer this really disappointed me. For 2 days I was able to enjoy the water and keep cool on a small rubber ring. Once the lifeguard was there, I was not allowed to use it, his reasoning was no space - this was untrue. It was a real shame as someone who is unable to swim and nervous in water, my security and aid was not allowed, despite using it previously and no signs stating such rule. Apart from that, the hotel has fantastic facilities, the only thing it doesn’t have is a shop but there are shops, restaurants and beaches all within a 5-10 minute walk. Only 10 minute taxi drive from the airport too! Would I return? Absolutely - if I can bring my inflatable ring!

I stayed at JS Palma Stay for 4 nights as a solo traveller and honestly had such a lovely, relaxing break.

Check-in was quick and easy. One tip – bring a credit card, as you can use it to charge drinks and purchases back to your room, which is really handy.

I booked a single room with a balcony and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. The small double bed was so comfortable – genuinely one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve ever had on holiday! The bathroom was compact and the shower could have done with a little more pressure, but it did the job perfectly well. I was on the 5th floor and even had a sea view from my balcony, which was a lovely bonus. There’s a fridge and kettle in the room too!

The location is excellent. Within a couple of minutes’ walk you’re on the beautiful Can Pastilla seafront, which is perfect for a morning stroll or an evening walk along the promenade.

I stayed half board and it was incredible value for money. The food was some of the nicest I’ve had at a hotel, with plenty of choice every day. Every single member of staff I met was friendly, welcoming and worked incredibly hard to keep everything running smoothly.

The pool area is fantastic. The water was lovely and warm and, let’s be honest, the swim-up bar was one of the reasons I booked the hotel! It’s open from 11am until 6pm and serves reasonably priced drinks. The atmosphere around the pool is nice and relaxed rather than loud or lively, which suited me perfectly.

The only slight downside was that there aren’t quite enough sunbeds, so getting one can be a little challenging on busy days. However, the lifeguard keeps an eye on things and removes towels from unattended beds, which I actually thought was fair. (Just don’t expect to use inflatables if he’s on duty! 😄)

Overall, this is a really solid hotel that’s clean, comfortable, safe and in a fantastic location. I honestly couldn’t find much to fault, and with the quality of the food, friendly staff and reasonable drink prices, I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Palma.

I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to return!
