Excellent location, rooms spotless cleaned ever day, ,beds comfortable. Variety of food each night,plenty to choose from. Breakfasts Excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. 10 mins transfer from airport.
Had an amazing few days at this hotel, immaculately clean, lovely food, and a lovely quiet pool, with loads of beds, and very peaceful, would definitely come again.
A wonderful hotel , exceptional with lovely helpful staff throughout the hotel. The pool and surrounding area was cleaned every morning and we could always get a sunbed whenever we went. Restaurant food was excellent with a variety of food each evening well worth booking halfboard. We had a sea view room overlooking the pool and sea which was great. The cleanliness of the hotel again was exceptional. Lots of different nationalities not many British. Can Pastilla is a lovely town 5 mins from the hotel with a great beach and a land train that does a round trip to Arenal for €5 and takes about 50 mins. All the staff were helpful, courteous and very friendly . We would definitely return to the hotel.
On first impression on arrival on coach from airport hotel was on a side street with cars parked all down rd - but the hotel looked ok - on entering hotel - it was wonderful - air-con very welcoming due to high temperatures- it was very clean & receptionist was very friendly & welcoming - it was very clean in all areas - the room was exceptionally clean - all the staff were very friendly & helpful- on 2nd day was trying to explain how shower floor very slippery- & could I use another foot towel in shower - she eventually got the gist & said 5 mins came back with proper shower plastic mat - wonderful. The room was immaculate every day the cleaners were very thorough The bar staff & restaurant staff all very cheery helpful - only criticism the food needed to be a little hotter - but plenty of choice & again very clean - the tables were cleared very quickly as you finished each course - didn't use pool - eating area outside of bar again very good . Would definitely return again despite the continual aircraft flying overhead. Would rate this hotel 4*
A very nice hotel but bedrooms desperstely need drawer space. Staff are excellent. The price of sunbeds on the beach are extrtionate as are the prices of drinks in some of the beach bars. Can Pastilla is a 3 star resort with 5 star prices.
