The hotel is highly recommended for adults, and provides spacious rooms with a fresh, modern design equipped with everything you need for the perfect stay. The Sol Mirador de Calas has a spectacular swimming pool and sun terrace area overlooking the sea; a revamped buffet restaurant and a new In&Out Bar.
I had the best holiday ever at this resort! My partner and I stayed for 7 nights all inclusive. We arrived in the middle of the night due to flight delays and all that wonderful fun but was welcomed by a lovely chap at the reception. Check in was very easy and gave us all the information we needed. There was also an app with a map, restaurant and bar information and entertainment guide. When we arrived the room was very clean and had the amenities required with a lovely balcony view. During our stay all the staff were extremely lovely and friendly and were happy to help at all times. They would always say hello when you walked past and asked how we are constantly. A very big shout out to the animation team who were incredible. Super friendly and very very approachable. We joined in for multiple activities like water polo, water mat, aqua gym and dance and bingo and at every one of these activities they were incredible. There was entertainment every single night which was much to our taste from singing, dancing and even karaoke. Every day our room was cleaned and fresh towels were provided. We requested fresh bedding midway through our stay which was done by the lovely cleaner who always said hello when we saw here in the corridor. Both restaurants were clean and tidy and I constantly saw staff cleaning tables and floors to ensure cleanliness. There was a wide variety of food especially for my partner as he was a vegetarian and different themed nights. I must say the grilled chicken was my favourite. The bars were all very very nice and friendly with very speedy bartenders. Both pools were lovely. Some leaves and things in the pool as expected but was always fresh and clean in the mornings. Plenty of sun loungers around and never a war (thank goodness). Overall one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The value for money is incredible. A big big thank you to all the staff there for making our holiday incredible and I am sure we will back to stay again!
The whole experience from check-in and checkout was seamless. Everywhere was clean and fresh smelling. Plenty of food choices for anyone’s palette and free water stations in every area, offering even sparkling water on tap too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely coastal path walks on a designated, purpose built route. A ten/fifteen minute walk to a stone less beach, with the clearest, bluest water. Able to hire paddle boards from reception for just €20 for 4hrs, allowing you to go cove ‘hopping.’ Could also book the glass bottomed boat from this beach, running at 10am and 2pm, over to Cala D’or. S’illot. Noticed a bus just a few hundred yards away, near the sports bar-that also went further South on the coast taking you to the more commercial areas like Cala D’or. Easy to get out on a day trip if that’s what you wanted. A five minute walk to a large shopping complex-typical tourist shops, but crazy golf, eateries, and more if you want to get away from the hotel some days. The hotel had a sports bar showing PL football, but there was a small bar near the hotel a few minutes walk that had the whole sports itinerary from the UK PLeague too.

Nice rooms, lovely food, great staff, nice drinks, lots of loungers and not fighting over them at 8am like so many resorts. Pretty clean & tidy throughout resort, always sells great.
Only thing id say could be better is the air-conditioning in rooms, but we chose to sleep with patio door open which really helped.
Me & parnter came mid sep 26 and not many children here at all (which you should expect)

Stayed here for a week all inclusive in early June and it was overall a pleasant experience for the price we paid. Most of the facilities were clean and modern, however the toilets in communal areas were pretty gross and often lacked toilet paper. The pools were well-kept and there were definitely enough sunbeds to go around, although unless you got up very early there was no chance of sitting next to the pool as people reserve them. Although the hotel has a ‘rule’ that this isn’t allowed, it definitely was not enforced which is frustrating. The loud music that was played by the pool was also a little bit irritating after a certain amount of time and killed any sort of relaxing atmosphere.
There were a few things that made the hotel come across as a bit stingy - you had to pay an extra fee to use the safe in the room which I think is outrageous and I have never experienced this in any hotel before. If you have a late flight home, note that the hotel charges an extra €25 per person to keep your wristbands after check-out, which again is something I have never come across at a holiday resort and is a bit cheeky.
The location of the hotel is lovely, it’s on a cliff edge and has beautiful views out to sea, especially if you have a room on a high floor. A lot of reviews have noted that the lift situation isn’t the best and we were a little bit weary of this as we were on a high floor, however we never had to wait more than a minute or two for a lift. There’s not a massive amount to do in the town the hotel is in, however it’s well connected by buses to bigger towns like Portocristo and Cala D’or.
The food was good enough for us - it’s typical all-inclusive food so I think some other reviews are a bit harsh on this front. We managed to have something different every day for lunch and dinner and there’s chefs cooking a variety of different meats/fish continuously throughout the service which was nice. Cocktails were pre-mixed out of a machine, but they tasted nice. There’s not a massive amount to choose from that are included on all-inclusive. There’s also a token system for plastic drinking cups during the day - you pay €1 per token and exchange them for cups for your drinks, so don’t lose them :-)
The room was clean and modern, maybe a little on the basic side, however it was comfortable and the balcony was massive which was a bonus. The double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together which was a little bit annoying but not the end of the world by any means.
The staff were friendly, especially the bar staff. We didn’t get involved in anything from the animation team but they were very engaging, and people looked to be having a great time during the daytime and evening entertainment.
Overall we had a nice enough stay, but there were a few frustrations that let the hotel down, particularly the extra charges and sunbed situation.
