Situated just a few steps from a white sandy beach, this family-friendly hotel is located in the popular holiday resort of Cala d'Or on the south-eastern tip of the Mediterranean island of Majorca. A large variety of restaurants and bars is within a short stroll; the marinas are within easy reach. The international airport of Palma is within about an hour by car. Rooms are fully equipped with air conditioning, TV, a terrace and a private bathroom with a hairdryer to offer comfort and relaxation for a plesant stay. For relaxation, hotel provides the outdoor pool and indoor heated pool, and for the active ones; workout in the gym or table tennis, tennis and billiards are available too. It is a great place to launch a fabulous vacation; the hotel provides guests with the ultimate experience.
Dip into one of the 3 outdoor swimming pools or enjoy other recreational amenities including an outdoor tennis court and a fitness centre. This Mediterranean aparthotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and a television in a common area.
We were staying at the superior room and we think it was worth the extra cost. The only thing I can complain about is that they didn’t clean the floor very well, therefore it was a bit sandy sometimes.
The food was pretty average all inclusive food, and almost the same everyday. There is something for everyone, even for picky eaters like me.
The staff were amazing, especially the animation team! They were very outgoing and included all the guests and they really got us in a good mood.
There are two beaches nearby which is nice. Although the pool areas were nice too. Something that bothered us a bit was that everyone placed their towels on the sunbeds early in the morning, therefore be ready to do the same if you want a spot.
The all inclusive drinks were nice and you were able to choose your own drinks as well.
We went in early september and it was still hot weather on the days (30 celsius) and very comfortable temperatures in the evening.
The location is great, but the hotel rooms were so disappointing. It really doesn’t look how it is advertised. The rooms are old and smelt musty. We were on ground floor near the terrace by the pool and the sliding door wouldn’t open and when we finally open it, we couldn’t get it to close. We had to take our valuables out with us. We felt unsafe sleeping that night. As well as the door there were several issues.
*Rust in bath *cracked toilet seat *Pain peeling off wall behind curtains.
*shower water was only warm, never hot and the water was salty! *There was a sewage smell that sometimes appeared. *The hotel charge you €30 to use the Balinese beds and the usual loungers are uncomfortable and hard and you have to pay and deposit and daily charge to use the towels that were washed out green. I was just disappointed to be honest.
Who in the world rated this hotel a 4 star? Firstly, when we were given our room key we tried to enter our room but it started beeping and flashing red and wouldn’t let us in. We had to ask for help and there was so much confusion since my partner had gone down to ask for help but then a man came and took the lock off and fixed it even though my partner was at the desk asking for help, just zero communication really. Secondly, we chose self catering so we could eat in some nights and then other nights go out for meals. This was IMPOSSIBLE to do due to the kitchen being awful. The stove was crusty and dirty, there was one knife to eat with, no oven, barely any utensils. Thirdly, when I drew the curtains this big long plaster scene thing fell on my head, who knows where the heck it came from but it isn’t good enough. When the man from the desk came to our room to get it he just grabbed it and walked out, there was no I’m sorry for this we will fix it for you, he just clearly didn’t give one about it falling from the curtain and couldn’t be bothered figuring it out. Fourthly, when we opened the wardrobe we noticed the top of the wardrobe is completely falling off, no effort from the hotel to fix it????!!!! After all of this only being in our room for an hour maybe even less, we went down to the desk to complain, the hotel staff had no remorse whatsoever, no sorry or anything. I already felt bad enough going down to complain again, yet we didn’t even receive a sorry despite our room being a piece of rubbish. Fifthly, when we were ready to sleep we turned all our lights off, but there was one light that wouldn’t switch off. After me and my partner trying to figure it out, I found a switch that was broke so we couldn’t flick the light off. What REALLY annoyed me was the fact the staff or whoever it was had left that on after the last people staying and obviously couldn’t be bothered trying to fix it, because we for SURE did not turn that light on and it was on when we arrived. Due to this, we had an electrician in our room for 30-45 minutes at night when we wanted to sleep after a very early flight, the electrician was lovely and did fix the problem. Sixthly, the general cleanliness of this place is disgusting. Mold on the taps, this is actually disgusting if you’re a hotel at least deep clean for the next people staying. It’s BEYOND me. What is the worst thing, the plug hole in the shower is just filled with hair so the water fills up while getting a shower without even needing a plug in it. I live in a house, 3 girls, and it takes weeks for our plug to build up with that much hair. It was VILE, I wanted to take the hair out myself because it was making me feel ill every time I showered but that’s not something I should do while on holiday. ALSO, the bath had some sort of stain in it, and the hotel have clearly attempted to paint over it (with a colour that doesn’t even match the bath). God knows what the stain is. Also why is the water salty??? When I come back from the beach I don’t really want to shower in more salty water, it’s impossible to feel clean in this disgusting hotel. Our AC is also missing over half of its screw cover caps. I don’t think I’d complain as much as this if my bed was actually comfortable, but no it feels like I’m sleeping on what I can only describe as sleeping on the sun loungers around the pool which are also terrible themselves. Basically nearly everything is falling apart here. I don’t think I can name you one good thing about this hotel. This was me and my partners first holiday together, we spent so many months saving and working really hard to be able to afford this holiday. It’s very disappointing and to be honest quite sad for us to stay in a hotel which is just horrendous in every way. So to put it straight, for your own good, don’t stay at this hotel you will have a terrible time. We are just so grateful we stayed in such a beautiful area by the most unreal beaches ever where we spent majority of our time. I will insert pictures below of some of these issues.
Location was fine just a few minutes walk to shops,bars and restaurants. The atmosphere was great in the hotel all the guests were really friendly and no trouble round the pool area. Our first room that was given was disgusting(block 3) smelt of damp as soon as we got in ,over looked the football pitch in the shade ,it was a ground floor apartment but as soon as we opened the doors there was a big smelly bog of water . After complaining we got moved into block 9 and it was lovely with a double balcony ,the room was more modern but still worn in places ,ants were a problem ,our eletrics blew cause of a faulty kettle and although we were promised another one they decided not to give us another due to it blowing the electrics. Water was very salty and only luke warm . We didn’t pay a lot for the holiday how ever it definitely wasn’t a 4* everything needed a good freshen up especially around the pool edges and paving . Staff were lovely and friendly . They did seem to put a lot of activities on around the main pool and entertainment every night . As much as I didn’t find guests really loud the cleaners every morning with the leaf blowers were ridiculous it was around 7:30 every morning .
Avoid this hotel at all costs go somewhere else Booked a studio room for me and my partner the beds are apart from each other , the room well where do I start like the apartment from Inbetweeners movie . The kitchen was falling apart kitchen cabinets hanging on , bathroom had mold and lime scale over the taps and walls had a very old damp smell to it . Apparently rooms have been refurbished in 2025 I read well that is well and truly not the case spoken to several people round the pool and they said the same . AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS have stayed in nicer hostels
