Situated just a few steps from a white sandy beach, this family-friendly hotel is located in the popular holiday resort of Cala d'Or on the south-eastern tip of the Mediterranean island of Majorca. A large variety of restaurants and bars is within a short stroll; the marinas are within easy reach. The international airport of Palma is within about an hour by car. Rooms are fully equipped with air conditioning, TV, a terrace and a private bathroom with a hairdryer to offer comfort and relaxation for a plesant stay. When we got to the room…it was ground floor and the “double bed” was basically 2 single beds on the opposite side of the room! The room is 10x smaller than advertised on the pictures. The tv wouldn’t work and the WiFi box didn’t work either. The ants were everywhere…on the walls/luggage/clothes/kitchen and beds. I couldn’t sleep at night because the walls are paper thin, cleaners would be loud at early hours and you can hear everyone in their rooms above/beside us. Almost impossible to get a bed with umbrella…literally need to get up at 6am for an umbrella (I’m ginger self explanatory) the pool was dirty…I couldn’t see my boyfriend underwater and hair clumps floating around and all sorts of dirt. I never saw the pool get cleaned once. This hotel is actually 8mins drive from Cala D’Or 40mins walk max to centre. However it’s nearly impossible to get a taxi and you’re not allowed pre-book in advance unless airport. We were self catering and had to get white wine vinegar ourselves to keep ants away from food. Definitely not a 4 star hotel.
Superb as always
This is my third time here. I was very apprehensive about coming here the third Time after seeing reviews on til tok and reading some of the reviews on here.
On this occasion we have brought the whole family here 12 of us and varied ages from 18 months old to late 50s.
The staff work very hard here to make sure you have a great time, from reception, entertainment, bar staff.
We have various dietary issues with In the family, from picky eaters to some Of us eat anything. There Is something for everyone.
Kids clubs, the entertainers do amazing. Bar staff friendly and polite and quick, even if there is a queue at the bar, your Not there long. Reception very helpful and accommodating even with late night check in.
I’m 3 days in on a 7 night stay. If you want to go an holiday and expect everything to be perfect all the time go and spend the extra thousands on 5 star hotels. But for familys for atmosphere, service a great. I don’t have any complaints. This place is for creating memories and enjoying your self. The little village not too far away is stunning and also has some nice restaurants, fast food, spar, souvenir shops .
I still would not hesitate coming here again.
Good family hotel
Stayed here for a family break in august. I have to say I don't know where the bad reviews are coming from... People maybe expecting to much for what ultimately is a hotel on the cheaper side of things. Check in quick enough
Room, stayed in block 1 on the second floor, room was spotless with decent bedding and towels provided. Air con worked just fine.
Facilities and grounds around the hotel were fine, someone out every morning hosing the paths down and cleaning the area, pools were clean enough too. Plenty of sunbeds to go around too
All inclusive bar was good, decent selection of local spirits with branded soft drinks available.reusable cup really is no issue ....
Food, good selection for all meals, however my one improvement here would maybe have heat lamps as the food has obviously been cooked, but tends to go just warm when out.
Entertainment was absolutely fantastic, the team were very friendly, plenty of games for all to join in during day, football, air rifle shoot, archery, water polo to name a few.
Night time entertainment was good too and the area looks lovely lit up.
Location was brilliant, 3 minute walk to cala egos beach which is great for swimming and tombstoning into the water. Plenty of shops, bars and food places nearby too, a great alternative to the much busier cala d'or.
I will say it again this hotel doesn't deserve the bad reviews... Yes if you look for a problem you may find tired areas here and there... But if your going to let that bother your holiday then your the one with the issue .... Go ahead and book, enjoy the decent facilities but come for the excellent animation team and make memories

Disappointed
Similar to other reviews I have just read..
Ants seem to be everywhere, including in the rooms.
Pool area is over crowded and very grubby! Needs a good scrub. Inside the pools are not clean either, all kinds of things floating around.
Food is very very average at best - wouldn't pay for all inclusive, be better just going out for meals in local restaurants.
You have pay €1 for a cup even though it's all inclusive? ... Only one bar is all inclusive, the one you first seen when you walk in does not apply, you have pay at that one.
Shower gel was not replaced once during our stay and I am pretty sure our bedsheets were not changed either.
We have a plug socket hanging off the wall with bare wires showing - we have a 2 year old so massive red flag.
I also requested and paid for Flowers, Champagne and flowers to be in our room upon arrival for my wife's birthday suprise - this did not happen, even though they took my money on arrival? When questioned they said 'we forgot' .. I asked for it to be sorted and they responded 'the guy who does it has gone home' .. 'what about tomorrow'? .. 'No, he is off tomorrow' ... Eventually got them on day 3
Just overall disappointed... Expensive holiday with very little to gloat about.
Scabby 2/3 star Hotel
Disgusting with ZERO customer service. On arrival allocated floor 3 with the lift no working during our stay - needed to drag suitcases up 3 flights of stairs - no concierge. Rooms disgusting, hairs, stains, dust on air con - we will go home sick. Informed hotel, ZERO action. We had also upgraded the room but no better, rusty showers, scabby towels of different colours. Whole place is disgusting. No where near expectations of a 4 star - maybe 2/3 star. Expensive. If you need anything from hotel - expect an additional charge. This wasn’t a holiday staying here, it was a camp / hostel. Cleaners moaning they have no work but don’t know how to clean, reception staff know the hotel problems but management do nothing and want more money. Ants in bed, patio doors don’t lock, I can go on and on but it’s simple ….. do not stay here you will be angry.
