We are staying at the hotel now, today will be our last full day. We have really enjoyed it, I was so worried given some of the reviews online but honestly it's been lovely.
Beds are super comfortable, rooms cleaned daily. We are all inclusive, my partner loves the breakfast and I prefer the lunch- plenty of options, particularly good if you love salads, mushroom risotto was delicious! Staff are very attentive, particularly love the table service outside when watching the evening entertainment which has been very enjoyable.
Along with the view I would say the hotels best asset is their staff- waiting staff, reception, cleaners and entertainment, everyone has been lovely and you can tell they want you to really enjoy your stay. The area is great too, you have everything you need and it feels very safe. We have eaten out every evening, the meals we have most enjoyed have been restaurants closest to the hotel, special mention to Bon Sol down the road.
There are a few little things such as some of the towels being a bit threadbare and the corridors leading to the rooms needing a good paint. Lifts are a bit of a nightmare, we are on the sixth floor and have just been walking downstairs most days as it's handier.
That being said I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended this hotel to my sister and her family. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay!
Amazing hotel , The staff , entertainment , lication and food is faultless . I will return as I loved the sea view , beach location and choice of food and drinks.
The view from the superior sea view room was amazing. The view from the pool of the beach was beautiful day and night. The beach itself was a good level of busy this time of year, I don't think you could get a hotel closer to the sea - our favourite holiday yet. We found the room and the hotel overall clean, especially the restaurant. On our second day we upgraded to all inclusive the food was that good, they have a wide variety of fruit, salads, fish, cooked veg, meat, puddings etc etc. We will definitely be back!!
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location is perfect, the food was good, and there was a great variety of activities throughout the day and in the evening. The entertainment was actually one of the things that surprised us the most — there was always something interesting happening, and the animation team did a fantastic job.
The only small disappointment was regarding our “sea view” room. We understood that we had booked a room with a sea view, but in reality, the view was mostly of the beach with only a small part of the sea visible, which felt more like a partial sea view. We were expecting a more open sea view based on the photos shown on booking websites and considering the price we paid for this room category. We were eventually offered another room with a slightly better view, although it still wasn't quite like the views shown in the advertised photos.
Apart from this small misunderstanding regarding the room, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend the hotel. The location, food and especially the entertainment team made our holiday a very enjoyable experience.
This was our first trip to Cala D’or and chose this hotel due to its proximity to the beach. I emailed beforehand to ask for a possible upgrade as we were celebrating a big anniversary. When we arrived the receptionist told us we had been given an upgrade and when we got to the room there was a lovely card and bottle of Cava waiting for us.
We were half board and couldn’t fault the food at all, lots of choice and really good quality. The staff were very good also. Beds were really comfortable and the room was cleaned and towels changed every day.
The location is something else. With steps taking you directly onto Cala Fererra beach it was perfect. We loved everything about this hotel and would definitely stay again.
