The attractive holiday hotel Atolon boasts a superb seafront position with direct sea access and marvellous panoramic views over the shimmering waters of the Mediterranean Sea, right at the Cala Bona seaside promenade. It is located close to the fishing harbour, enabling guests to enjoy fresh and delicious fish dishes in the local restaurants. A wide range of shops, restaurants, bars and cafés can be found in the surrounding area; the popular holiday resort of Cala Millor is within easy reach. The most outstanding feature of the hotel is its wonderful seaside terrace with an outdoor pool and a separate children's pool, surrounded by sun loungers and with marvellous sea views. Culinary options include a restaurant and two bars, one of them situated on the terrace. This hotel is a perfect place for couples and families with children wishing to spend a holiday under the Mediterranean sun.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Cold plates and cold food. Attitude of waiters leaves a lot to be desidered
Location perfect but that’s as far as it goes. Have been before twice and can’t believe how the hotel has gone downhill. Very small mismatched rooms with very little storage space and dresses hang down on floor husband didn’t unpack as nowhere to put anything. Ground floor room that when you opened patio door you were greeted with a concrete wall and behind that wall was a very noisy late night sports bar. Toilets in hotel had hand dryers in both ladies and gents that were broken not even replaced with paper towels. Food was always cold and nothing complimented each other. Asked for an early wake up call which was fine but our room did not have a telephone as they were being repaired which I feel is against safety rules for health reasons ! We had a knock on the door instead ! There is an outside bar attached to the beach club but nowhere you can sit inside and enjoy a drink and on weekends the beech club is very loud and goes on quite late with heavy music. All in all we shall not return
Another visit to this lovely hotel, I think it was our 4th. The location is perfect, right in the middle between Cala Bona and Cala Millor, so you are perfectly placed to enjoy the 2 resorts. The rooms are clean and modern, the maid we had was lovely, spoke to us every day. As in previous reviews, I agree the storage is limited. As I've travelled here before, I'm aware of that and always take some additional hangers. We've always had a locked interlinked room, so I use the top of the door to hang my dresses from, as the wardrobe is only half length. We love this hotel, the staff are very friendly, the views are spectacular as you are right on the sea front. The food is very good too, we stayed half board and there is plenty of choice, we never had any difficulty finding something, or the quality of the food provided. Safe to say, we will be back.

Cala bona is a lovely place to visit, our stay at hotel atolon was okay i would say the staff on the check in are very nice also an easy check in . The hotel is split into two sides beach front and the other is the opposite which unfortunately we were put in we asked for a beach side room but were told they were booked out but if you pay the extra for sea view that's not a problem, food wise we done breakfast only again it's the usual queue up for food which is normal these days. Poolside is lovely and plenty of beds so I would definitely recommend sea view otherwise forget about it. Our room was adequate not much room in it and as the photo shows that was our balcony view. We would go back to cala bona but not sure if I'd would stay at atolon unless it was sea view side but thank you hotel atolon for our stay 😊
