When you go to Lanzarote, you're probably going to want to spend as much time as possible on the beach. One of the many great advantages of staying at the VIK Hotel San Antonio is that it is the perfect location, right on the beach at Puerto del Carman.
Everything's close at hand when you stay at the VIK Hotel San Antonio including the superb Playa de los Pocillos beach. You'll be on the sand in seconds, or you can be exploring the vibrant resort of Puerto del Carmen in minutes. Want to explore further afield? There are bus and taxi stops right outside the door of the hotel.
We don't think you'll want to spend too long away from the beach or the hotel though. VIK Hotel San Antonio is a top-notch four star hotel. Everything has been beautifully designed and is a visual delight that makes great use of the available space.
As an alternative to cooling off in the sea, you might fancy a dip in the pool. The hotel swimming pools are set in lush gardens in the shade of some lofty palm trees. The gym - part of the hotel's wellness centre - is another great feature. Again, impeccably designed and sure to inspire you. There are excellent tennis facilities too.
En suite side seaview rooms at the VIK Hotel San Antonio are spacious and come with great views as standard. You can enjoy the views best from your balcony or terrace and upgrades to sea-view rooms are also available - just ask for details. In room facilities include plasma screen satellite TV, telephone, hair dryer, safe* and mini-bar*.
With an exceptional restaurant; even a cocktail bar, the VIK Hotel San Antonio is a very easy place to stay. You've got the location, the amenities and the beach; all yours to enjoy...

This hotel should never be introduced to families. For a start how can any families enjoy this hotel when you cannot have NO INFLATABLES in the pool. You cannot play with a ball in the pool!!! If you want a kettle in the room, you have to pay .... disgusting... full board, lunch, dinner you pay for all drinks INCLUDING WATER.... GOOD points it is clean, staff are friendly & the food is just OK.This hotel is for the old old people with respect. These holiday companies should not sell this to any young family. Also may I say the room needs a complete refurd, the shower looks like it came from the 1970s.What else can I say except young families read this & be aware!!!!!
Hotel is in a good location, on the beach and walking distance to the strip Staff were friendly and rooms were clean although dated but acceptable Our room was on an inside corner next to the lift shaft this made for a tiny balcony, the room entrance was on the lift landing rather than the corridor there was some noise from the lift There was no wifi coverage in the room or anywhere around the hotel except communal areas Restaurant was busy at times but we always managed to find a table, food was pretty good with plenty of choice all in all it was an ok stay, probably would have been better if we had a different room been we likely won't return as there are and we have stayed in better hotels/apartments in Puerto del Carmen
Really enjoyed our 10 night stay. I would happily return in the future. Positives *Staff friendly, welcoming & attentive. *Rooms (whole hotel really) very clean, beds super comfy and air conditioning that works efficiently. *food (we went half board) not bad actually, I wasn’t expecting much as it’s buffet mass catering. But it always looked fresh and inviting no matter at what point during service we went for a meal. There was always lots of fresh fruit, platters were replenished rapidly and the variety was pretty good.
Negatives *the shower was very much miss sold. It really should be called a trickle! The water was a nightmare to set at the right temperature. DO NOT LEAVE YOUNG CHILDREN UNSUPERVISED IN THE SHOWER. The water changed from ice cold to scalding hot so quickly and without warning it’s dangerous. It took over half an hour for just one of us to shower because we spent so much time dodging the 3rd degree burns and the ice bath all in one. *maintenance of the pool side (NOT THE POOL). Some of the grouting needs attention and the concrete planters that are cracking need dealing with. It would have not taken much for someone in maintenance to have gone round and touched up the white paint on them! *lastly. The sun loungers are very used, they need a clean down along with the little white tables. Again not a massive deal but if the guy that’s washing the floor every morning just washed the loungers and tables down it would make such a difference.
Overall we will happily return as the negatives are minimal. We had a great time and wish we didn’t have to go home!!!
Location is good. Staff are friendly and eager to please. The whole place is very clean and tidy. Rooms are quite small and dated. I booked full board and that was a mistake. The food is terrible. It is always cold and is very poor quality. There are no tea/coffee making facilities In your room. You can hire a kettle from reception. There was no water or anything in the room for arriving guests. Even on a full board basis you have to pay for water and soft drinks. This is the type of thing I expect from a budget hotel and this is not a budget hotel. Definitely would not return
We booked this only about 3-4 weeks before arriving, it was great deal for half board so we couldn’t not book it. We don’t normally do half board but the food was great, especially breakfast and the couple of days we swapped to lunch instead of dinner, sometimes a bit cold but overall fine. We knew what to expect with just the one room for three of us, space wise it was fine for a week but any longer probably needed more space. The hotel is so clean everywhere, rooms are spotless. It is dated but I am sure as some point they will do a refurb. Pools are great, and no major rush for sunbeds in a morning. The pool bar is reasonable for drinks, food and ice creams. The location is great and opposite is a mini golf park with bowling, darts and pool tables, great for kids. Overall it was a great week, definitely prefer apartments but if we got a good deal again we would return here.
