The swimming pools are the heart of the THB Flora hotel. This is where guests flock to swim and mingle, to soak up some sun and take it easy. Fringed with palm trees, there's no better place to while away the hours. There's a great snack bar on hand too, so you can spend as much of the day outside, with snacks and cool drinks whenever you fancy.
The THB Flora's gardens are another big attraction. It's a real treat to be able to step out of the sun for a while and enjoy a shady stroll around the hotel, taking in the delights of the garden as you go.
Your convenience and comfort are top of the agenda so there's a handy laundry service*, Wi-Fi*, and a supermarket all on-site. Loved our holiday
Just arrived home after 1 week stay at this hotel. Had a really enjoyable chilled family holiday, the main pool area was a real highlight for families with young kids but a vibe for the parents too. Pool bar, music and bar service was exceptional, cocktails and drinks are very high quality and very reasonably priced. Breakfast and dinner service was again exceptional very high quality food and service not to mention spotlessly clean. The staff are the heart of this hotel no doubt!!
Check-in was welcoming and friendly, reception staff very helpful with info at check-in. Amenities on site were fantastic, supermarket with great variety of everything needed. Souvenir and gift shop is great too with reasonably priced items for kids. Sam the owner is lovely and really made my nephew's holiday going in to buy stuff for the pool etc, football cards etc.
We had a pool view room in the main building. My mum had a pool AND sea view which was spectacular and I would definitely choose this option next time. (I wouldn't opt to stay in the other part of the building, whilst it was o.k, we only went over once to have a look and use the laundrette. I felt this side was hard to fault. Housekeeping were great and maintenance when required. The staff clearly work for very hard.
Entertainment staff work really hard at keeping the kids entertained and amused throughout the holiday. Hotel accommodated screens for World Cup in the bar/lounge area. Bar staff fab here and drink quality and prices. A taxi to the main strip and harbour is less than 5 euros with lots of bars, restaurants, shopping mall etc and a bit more entertainment than the hotel depending on what you like. We only went out 1 night for the football which was FAB!! Board was breakfast and dinner so we just relaxed in the bar mainly.
Been twice got engaged 2nd time
Stayed couple of times and loved both clean friendly go self catering and feels like our own personal apartment one day it rained and didn’t both us to sit inside and have a chill day as it felt like our home
Great all round hotel
Lovely hotel, not too far away from shops and only a 5 min drive in a taxi to the strip! Food is buffet style and its lovely also. Pool area and loungers are great.

Amazing place to stay
Amazing place to stay, staff are so friendly they can’t do enough for you, booked 3 times here this year absolutely love it, food is lovely, rooms are clean and spacious, no sun bed wars! Also a sunbed for everybody, plus love the balconies with terrace as they have sun loungers on so you don’t have to leave your room if you don’t want to, great for kids and all aged adults Staff member Carlos! Well he is just a legend nothing is to much trouble for him lovely man so welcoming, can’t wait for September to go again, location 8 mins walk from strip, close to shopping malls, beach in walking distance, great value for money
Great experience
After reading some of the lower rated reviews, we were slightly apprehensive about our stay. However, we were pleasantly surprised and couldn’t have had a better experience.
The staff are the heart of this hotel, nothing was too much for them, from the entertainment staff, reception staff, service staff and house keeping, you could tell they all take pride in what they do.
Our room was clean, comfortable and perfect for what we needed, plus the sea view was a great addition.
For us, the location of the hotel wasn’t an issue as the walk to the main strip only took around 10/15 mins but for those who may struggle with steep hills, I’d recommend using taxis.
The only small thing to note would be the ongoing maintenance work whilst we were there. It wasn’t a huge issue for us as upon check-in, the receptionist had made us aware and they stopped at a reasonable time each day and it wasn’t too loud.
Overall, I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone planning to stay in Puerto del Carmen.
