The swimming pools are the heart of the THB Flora hotel. This is where guests flock to swim and mingle, to soak up some sun and take it easy. Fringed with palm trees, there's no better place to while away the hours. There's a great snack bar on hand too, so you can spend as much of the day outside, with snacks and cool drinks whenever you fancy.
The THB Flora's gardens are another big attraction. It's a real treat to be able to step out of the sun for a while and enjoy a shady stroll around the hotel, taking in the delights of the garden as you go.
Your convenience and comfort are top of the agenda so there's a handy laundry service*, Wi-Fi*, and a supermarket all on-site. There's also a wide choice of accommodation, from studios to two bedroom apartments and Junior Suites, each with a kitchenette, balcony or terrace. Of course, it's not just the practical things that make a good place to stay it's all the little extras like great live entertainment, and lots of games, from pool to table tennis. Rooms are complete with individual self-controlled air conditioning.
There's a wonderfully relaxed pace of life at the THB Flora hotel in Puerto del Carmen. With two excellent swimming pools for you to enjoy - as well as that glorious beach just a short walk away - you're all set up to take it easy.

This hotel is perfectly located to explore the quaint and peaceful old town of Puerto del Carmen in the heart of Lanzarote. Just 800 metres from the beach, guests can choose to relax by one of the two outdoor pools or spend time on the nearby warm sands. The hotel is surrounded by gardens and offers excellent entertainment facilities for adults and children alike.
I stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had an extremely distressing experience. My room, along with 14 other rooms, was robbed during our stay.
What made the situation even worse was the way the hotel handled it afterwards. We received very little sympathy, support or understanding from the hotel staff. Given the seriousness of what had happened, I expected the hotel to show some compassion and make an effort to support the guests who had been affected. Instead, the attitude we experienced was extremely rude and unkind.
We were also told by the hotel that the area of the property where the rooms were located was not covered by CCTV cameras, which was extremely concerning, particularly given that so many rooms had been broken into.
Having your belongings stolen while staying somewhere that you have paid to stay in is an incredibly upsetting experience. The way the situation was handled by the hotel made an already horrible experience even worse
I would never stay here again
We were apart of a large group , we stayed on the right hand side of the hotel . Most of the people with us were robbed , money watches iPads wedding cards ect all robbed and no answers from the hotel , no cameras ! No answers ! All left unanswered. It’s a disgrace would not recommend to anyone to stay here .
I stayed at this hotel in Lanzarote while travelling over for a family wedding. I was staying in a room on my own, and unfortunately the night before the wedding, several rooms in the hotel were broken into and belongings were stolen.
After hearing what had happened, I no longer felt safe staying in the hotel alone. What made the situation even more concerning was being told that there were no cameras covering the area where we were staying, meaning there was apparently no CCTV footage available to help identify what had happened.
The way the situation was handled by the hotel was extremely disappointing. I found the staff to be unhelpful and, on several occasions, rude. Given the circumstances, I expected the hotel to make more of an effort to reassure guests and accommodate us following the robberies. Unfortunately, I did not feel that they took our concerns seriously or did enough to make us feel safe.
I had travelled to Lanzarote to enjoy a family wedding, but this incident completely changed the experience for me. Being alone in a hotel room after multiple rooms had been broken into was incredibly unsettling, and I ultimately felt I could not stay there on my own.
I understand that the hotel may not have been responsible for the break-ins themselves, but the way a hotel responds to something like this matters enormously. In my experience, the response was inadequate, and I would not feel comfortable staying here again.
After reading the latest reviews we were very cautious, but what a fantastic holiday we have just experienced at THB Flora 1, very clean, safe and great pool with good staff service, there is another part via a underground tunnel which is self catering apartments where the issues stated happened, where the guests failed to state rooms were allegedly left open and digital safes not used as designed, I finish my review with a positive would stay again, great hotel which was full at the time and still didn’t appear overcrowded , enjoy your holiday at THB Flora🌞🌞✈️
Amazing stay at the Flora, after reading the reviews on the way to the hotel I was extremely worried. We’re were in the self catering apartments, there is a security guard and a key card gate to get in so you don’t need to worry. You also get access to use the safe free of charge. Rooms small but very clean and tidy, no sun bed wars there was plenty of beds more than enough for everyone. Self catering side it’s a deep pool but more quieter and then across the road to the main pool but we preferred the smaller one. Food isn’t great in the hotel but head down to the purple turtle it’s so cheap and really nice food too, supermarket 5 mins down the road. Quite far from the strip of bars around a 25 mins walk but you can get a taxi only 4 euro each way which we did a couple of times.
