Seaside Los Jameos Playa

We came to this hotel as a family of 5 and had a brilliant holiday. The hotel gave us connecting rooms, which was great and made things so much easier with the kids.

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and immaculate. The pools are heated, which was a huge hit with the kids — they were happy to jump straight in first thing in the morning! The slides are also great and kept them entertained.

The food was amazing. There was so much variety every night and everything was really delicious. I’ve never stayed at an all-inclusive where I’ve genuinely enjoyed the food every single day! The drinks, wine and cocktails were also really good quality.

The location is fantastic, right on the beach, with a gate giving you quick access to the beach as well as nearby shops, bars and restaurants. You can hire bikes right outside the hotel (we hired 5 bikes for the whole day for €35). There is a smooth / flat cycle path that goes for miles.

There’s also a bus stop right outside the hotel with buses to Puerto del Carmen every 15 minutes, which was really handy.

We checked out at 12pm but didn’t leave the hotel until the evening. The hotel lets you book a private shower room, which is basically a hotel room where you can go and shower and get changed before you leave. This was such a great.

Overall, we had an amazing holiday and thought the hotel was brilliant. We would definitely come back!

The only downside for us was the service at the bars, especially the Milk Shack. At busy times there were big queues and the service could be quite slow.

But overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel for families.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. We enjoyed the week staying here where the atmosphere was lively, entertaining but also far from chaotic! Rooms were nicely sized, clean and nicely decorated. Buffet food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was probably the best we've experienced in Europe. All food was always hot, nice to have fresh meals made by chefs in different areas and made to order eith plenty of different options to suit all! Fantastic kids entertainment available and kids pool with slides and splash area seperate from the main pool area. Only disappointment for the entire week was after checking in after midnight day. We were provided with sandwiches and a piece of fruit each (ok I dont expect a main course dinner but maybe abit more than a cheese sandwich) and then on the last day we checked out at midday and then paid for late check out which was a very reasonable price. We used the facilities and ate through the day. We sat down ordered drinks and food at dinner only to be told by a restaurant supervisor that dinner was not included! (Id already eaten half a plate of food) they then checked after I told them we were not informed by reception. They confirmed that we weren't told but then said we'd need to pay €60 per adult and €30 per child for dinner to which i refused as we were not told before hand. After some back and forth they agreed it was their fault and waived the charge! I found this disappointing when you pay for a 7 day holiday and are only provided with 5 days of dinner!! It was a shame to end the holiday with a negative after having such a fantastic week away. Kids loved it, we loved it and would recommend it. I would also recommend the hotel review their policy for late check out guests and evening meal provision especially when they arrive for check in on day one after meal times.
