We really enjoyed our recent visit. Once again, it was a great hotel, well located, clean and comfortable, with very friendly and welcoming staff. A special thank you to Ehiz for making sure we had such a fun and enjoyable time
Very nice clean hotel. Staff were all lovely, never stop working. Lots of food choices for every meal and bar snacks provided throughout the day. Usual sun bed hoggers but it wasn't really an issue, we always found one. I would stay again
What can we say, another fantastic stay at hotel pocillos playa. From the moment we walked through the door, Vicky, on reception was so welcoming and recognised us from our last trip. So friendly it made us feel like part of the Pocillos playa family, and got our holiday off to a great start. We had a room upgrade, courtesy of the hotel, which was unexpected, but again was a fabulous, and wonderful thing to be given. The room was perfect. The cleaning staff really looked after our room and we can't then them enough. The restaurant was amazing, the staff always smiling and working so hard. Samad always greeted us with a smile and conversation. Again he recognised us from our previous visits, and made is feel part of the family. The food at all times was impeccable. breakfast,lunch and dinner, always plentiful and so many options, truly 4 star plus. Pool was perfect and very peaceful atmosphere,what you needed for a relaxing holiday. The beach is literally a short walk away, literally on your door step. All in all, another fantastic stay for us and, yes, we have already booked for 2027 and our counting the days down. Stayed in a pool view room. Room was nice and clean. We were all inclusive, Food was decent, lots of choices. Drinks were included 10am till 11pm. San Miguel on draft. Wine was good. Bar, dining and cleaning staff worked very hard. Entertainment was a bit limited but a couple of the singers were good. Entertainments guy worked hard. Karaoke was a laugh. We met some lovely friendly people. All in all a great week. Would we come again? Definitely. We’re booking same time next year.
Stayed at this hotel in September for 11 nights I must say was so disappointed after reading positive reviews on arrival did not get a warm welcome all the reception staff we came across were not helpful at all we reported our chiller in our room was warm we were told it’s not a fridge which we knew but expected it to chill drinks our friends room chiller was a lot colder than ours no body came to check it .The cleaning of the rooms had a lot to be desired towels only changed every two days for a four star hotel never had that before had to ask on two occasions for room to be cleaned the shower screen never cleaned so told who we thought was the supervisor who sent the cleaner back to clean it .As for the bar staff all very helpful apart from one very rude blonde lady think her name was Emily we asked for two soft drinks in a glass to take to room but was told we had to pay a euro each for a plastic glass to go round pool we told her we not going round pool but she wasn’t haven’t anything wouldn’t let us go to room with the glass drinks .After this we observed many people round pool with glasses and bottles of cava I understand that no glasses for safety reasons not allowed round pool area seems rules for some and rules for others,Also the pool area very tight Sun beds next to each other and not many umbrellas or shade so we never used pool area no outside space to sit with umbrellas neither.On the positive side the food was nice but on evening the restaurant in certain parts was very dark when eating your meal my husband got a duck bone stuck in in his throat if lighting had been better that wouldn’t have happened luckily he had some bread and managed to clear it could have been a lot worse.Would we recommend hotel it wasn’t for us and some staff especially reception and blonde lady on bar also she worked in restaurant need customer care training .
