Travelled with my daughter, we had an amazing time at Plaza Palmeras!!! It’s in a fantastic position just 5 minutes walk to the strip and beach. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, the food was excellent, the pool area was great, we were always able to get a sun bed and loved the background music playing. We were very happy with our room, yes they could do with a little updating, however, the beds were very comfortable and the house keeping was excellent. A big shout out has to go to Sam, he worked tirelessly to entertain us all, the pool Zumba and games were great and he made us smile from the minute he came onto site, he is a legend!!!! We can’t wait to book again.
An enjoyable time had by us both. Location is great, a short walk to the main strip, bit of a hill on the way back but doable.
Rooms are a little dated, however serve their purpose. Very clean, have everything you possibly need, TV, kettle, crockery, cutlery, microwave, hob, hairdryer etc. Plenty of storage space and a decent size room considering its AI.
Swimming pool area has plenty of sun loungers and is clean and well maintained. I think the 1 euro cup rule helps with this as no drinks, cups are left around.
Food was lovely, couldn't fault it
Staff are great, apart from the one member of bar staff who can be a little unfriendly at times.
Restaurant staff and housekeeping staff absolutely lovley and very friendly.
Entertainment was good. This is all organised in house apart from one night when they have an artist on.
Sam basically runs the show day and night. Day activities, night entertainment etc he's always happy to stop and have a friendly chat with guests.
The only negative is there is nowhere to put your luggage ( left in reception no luggage room ) or take a shower ( courtisy room ) on the day of your departure if you have a later flight. Check out time is 11am and the only shower is the outside pool shower and the pool toilets to freshen up for your journey home. This is the only thing that let's this hotel down. I would highly recommend keeping a room available for guests checking out and have a booking system of time slots to accommodate. Some guests were able to keep on thier room for a few hours for approx 50 euros, however most were advised no as the complex was fully booked. All in all we had a lovely time and would definitely return.
Myself and my family have rebooked this hotel, previously stayed January 2026, loved the relaxed atmosphere the rooms were clean, the all inclusive had plenty of choice, hopefully get a sunny balcony this year, looking forward to January 27 !

We recently stayed at the Aparthotel Plaza Palmeras and found it to be a brilliant, budget-friendly option for a holiday in Puerto del Carmen.
Final Verdict: If you are looking for a luxury 5-star resort, this isn't it. But if you want a clean, spacious, budget-friendly base with fantastic service and great all-inclusive value, we highly recommend Plaza Palmeras. We would definitely stay again!
