My brother,mom and I have just returned to Ireland today after a 10 night stay in Las Costas.We have stayed in Las Costas many times now - we love it!My brother and I hadnt been to Lanzarote/Las Costas in 4 years due to surgeries and cancer so we were extra excited to return this time and we won the break away in a competition so it was all just so amazing!The staff were lovely as always,the room was so nice and we enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi every day to cool down -it was very warm🌞 when we were there in the high 30's to early 40's...we are back to 14°C and rain in Ireland now so we miss Lanzarote already!My brother and I are both coeliacs but there was plenty of suitable food for us once we asked the Chef each morning/evening what was gluten free etc. Gluten free pasta and pizza could be made for us too in the evenings if we wanted...We loved the gluten free brownies too and the buns with the gluten free toast at breakfast.We will be back again soon for sure.Thanks for everything.😊
We booked this hotel after reading all the reviews and we can say it's a fabulous place to stay. We booked a partial see view room and we had a private balcony with a good view. The room is very spacious and clean. We were B&B and we were not disappointed. Lunch around the pool is very good. The bus into the main busy area around route 66 is a steady walk (about 20 minutes) but if you fancy a bus its 2.8euro (for 2 people) and if you have a late night a taxi is around 5 euros. The pool is cool but great for a swim. The gym, although a little warm, is very good. Staff are very pleasant if you are missing anything in your room just ask reception and they will resolve your issue. We would recommend Las Costas and we will go back that's for sure.
The location of the hotel is fantastic right next to the beach but easy walking distance of good restaurants and bars. We had a deluxe suite with separate lounge which overlooked the sea and was clean & well equipped. The food in the buffet was of good quality and variety. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar staff especially go above and beyond! Air con was excellent. A few minor niggles - the light switches are a bit confusing- a matter of switching several times to get right one. No replacement of water in room which is unusual and means having to remember to buy a bottle every day for the room. Finally not being able to take a mobility scooter beyond reception was a huge inconvenience to us. The hotel provide a wheelchair which you can take from reception to your room or the bar/restaurant/pool etc but you have to return it to reception and collect it again when you want to move around. Your mobility scooter has to be left in a room by reception. This was not explained to us when booking despite informing hotel my husband was a wheelchair user. It meant my husband struggled with stairs / walking because getting the wheelchair was such a faff. Just be aware if you have mobility issues.
Such a lovely hotel. Not the first time we have stayed here and this time it impressed even more. So clean and spacious. The rooms have so much space and are very modern. Breakfast is lovely. All fresh and so much choice. In a lovely area and backs into the beach. Would keep coming back to this hotel. Highly recommend.
I arrived at Las Costas with one of my friends for some downtime and time to relax. On arrived at the hotel on the 28th of June we were greeted warmly and were given a complementary upgrade which was a lovely touch. The 28th of June is my Dads anniversary of his death so it definitely lifted my spirits. The amenities and food were fabulous. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I really felt I could switch off and be at home. I definitely will be back by the end of Autumn for a solo trip If I can.
