This delightful hotel is located in the resort of Puerto del Carmen in the Spanish island of Lanzarote. To start with the WiFi is appalling slow and in secure,which I may add open,s you up to all sorts of problems later scams hacking to name just a few. Hotel is spotless and the room service for all inclusive is second to none. Bar staff and also amazing thank you so much. Rules around the pool and day I'm aloud pool towels the next day I need a card ,this was not mentioned to you on arrival neither were we given the appropriate cards for our stay. Pool attendant on this day was very rude on getting the cards we were given 2 towels, the following day it was self service double standards. Hot tub on many occasions has children in it under 16 pool attendant does absolutely nothing people smoking around the sunbeds nothing done about that either. The food is morning and evening meal totally horrible nothing matches ,one day there was green beans for breakfast and most of the food is being recycled in to other dishes mini sausages turned in to a casserole disgusting, water in the scrambled egg,mash potatoes look like baby food , over cooked pasta which had gone hard , oxtail more fat than meat, one lunch time there was a bowl of Brussels nothing to go with them ,rock hard con in some kind of red sauce bacon was more like Parma ham smoked, the fruit looking like it had past it's best over a week ago,I can go on but I guess this is all inclusive, well on a scale of were I've stayed before the timanfaya hotel in plays blanca all inclusive is leagues above this place , we spent most nights walking around looking what was worth having for tea and ended up going out very disappointed. It's being let down by management and head of kitchen yes you might be on a budget but sadly several English people I've spoken to won't be coming back because of the food. Entertainment at night some good acts and singers unfortunately only on for an hour so nothing to do after that so 9pm till 10 pm your evening is done . Pool area very clean and plenty of sunbeds . Not seen a Jet2 member since we arrived wouldn't no were to go to find one either . I won't be coming back here and it's the food which has made this decision. Regards Steve 🙏
Just arrived back from a week staying here. Honest as it gets. Really no negatives just certain things missing or could be changed to make it a 5 on the review.
Yes it’s is a 4 star. We have stayed in a lot of 4 stars that were truly not rated correctly however we arrived at midnight. Great welcome from reception staff. Gave all the information we need. As in previous 4 stars we have always received a small snack package arriving so late but unfortunately nothing in this hotel maybe this could be changed. Rooms great, spacious and cleaned daily. No complaints from us. Beds were comfy also. Food was good as usually in all buffet style would never be as hot as you get when put food straight onto you plate as it’s cooked but we all know this. So again not bad. Service was good, not all staff as happy as each other but that’s what makes us all different. Pool area was spotless. No fighting for sunbeds plenty to go around even at 11am.Always a lifeguard on duty, aqua aerobics most days. Very quiet as no music played around the pool area. Not far from pubs, restaurants some nice pubs within walking distance and the more lively pubs just on about further. Something for everyone.
Slight niggle there is no room to shower in and change if on a late flight home. They have a shower in the gym that you can use but you are not given a time slot so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time if you need to use it.
No shop in the hotel just vending machines but there is a spar need by.
Overall it was a great hotel with a great calm atmosphere and very relaxing.

Would give 3.5 stars. Myself and partner stayed for 10 days over August. Hotel itself is lovely. The rooms and grounds are very clean can't complain about anything here. Most of the staff wrote lovely especially the reception staff they were all so helpful. Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from main strip can walk along the promenade which is lovely.
Breakfast buffet is very good with good options. I will miss the churros and pancakes. We decided to do the hotel dinner one evening and asked reception if this was possible. It was and they said to charge it to the room or pay when seated. We were asked our room number at the dinner table and told the waiter we would like to charge it to the room. We were then approached by 4 different waiters all telling us that we had only booked B&B we had to continuously explain that we asked reception and we had told the other waiters that we are charging to the room. At one point 3 of the waiters came over to us at the same time. This caused the other families to stare over and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We ended up getting up half way through eating and walking down to the strip for food. It was charged to our room as I checked with the reception when leaving.
The pool area is nice with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. The hot tub states it for over 16's only but this was not monitored and small children would take over as a second kids pool. Quite frustrating considering the large pool is also full of children/floaties which was we expected but it would have been nice to be able to sit in the hot tub with out kids jumping in. Pool seems a lot smaller than pictured.
Over all the Hotel itself is lovely and laid back. Rooms are spacious and clean. We dont drink so didn't go to hotel bar or see the entertainment. But all was very quiet when we would be returning around 10/11pm each evening.
Very modern, very clean hotel, food is fantastic and good atmosphere, close to beach and shops, plenty of facilities to use
