Set overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the hotel features outdoor pools and a poolside bar. The air-conditioned suites are a 15-minute walk from Playa Chica Beach. There is a chill out area with a Balinese Bed and sun loungers which looks out to the sea. You will also find a garden and terrace, as well as a gym and Wellness and Beauty Centre. The outdoor pool, heated in winter, has a small adjoining dynamic pool with a little waterfall and water jets. There is a buffet restaurant and a restaurant serving à la carte meals. The hotel is environmentally-friendly, using the latest technologies and renewable energies to reduce CO2 emissions. Each suite comes with a private, furnished terrace and a seating area with a flat-screen TV. They include a Nespresso coffee machine and a minibar. Bathrooms come with a rain shower, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and free toiletries. You will find shops, bars and restaurants in the harbour area, 10 minutes' walk away. There is also a supermarket 50 metres from the property. Timanfaya National Park can be reached in a 20-minute drive. Arrecife is 15 minutes drive from La Isla y el Mar Hotel Boutique. Lanzarote Airport is 10 minutes away by car.

David led our cocktails master class and was brilliant from start to finish, great cocktails, very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.
What a wonderful relaxing experience from start to finish All staff were so friendly and extremly helpful nothing was ever a problem. Gabriela , guest liason manager , reception staff, resturant staff, pool snack bar staff, in particular Leo all do such an amazing job! The rooms, resturant and pool areas were spotless. I would highly recommend this hotle.
What a fabulous stay with my 3 sisters from start to finish. Staff are fantastic, shout out to Leo and Carlos in the bar/restaurant who couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel is really beautiful and food was fantastic also! We’ll be back!
Fabulous time at La Isla Yel Mar in Lanzarote. This was our third visit and it won’t be our last. Hotel is lovely and the staff make the experience even more special. Thank you ☺️
The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful and very quiet, which I personally really enjoyed. We spent the holiday just bobbing along, doing our own thing and relaxing, and that suited us perfectly.
My wife would have liked a little more atmosphere around the pool during the day. Perhaps some slightly more upbeat music or a bit more entertainment would have made it feel livelier. I think this really comes down to personal preference, as I loved the peacefulness!
The sunbeds are perhaps a little close together, so removing one or two might give everyone a bit more space. Having said that, we never once struggled to get a sunbed, so it wasn’t an issue for us.
Breakfast – excellent! 🍳
We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, which was absolutely perfect for us. The eggs were cooked fresh to order and were cooked to perfection every time! The rest of the breakfast was buffet style and there was always plenty of choice. Even if you’re a little fussy with food, there was always something to eat.
The staff – 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The staff really deserve a special mention. Every member of staff we came across worked incredibly hard and always had a smile on their face. Nothing seemed too much trouble and they genuinely couldn’t do enough for us.
We honestly couldn’t fault any of them. The staff alone deserve 5 stars!

The room was cleaned and made up every day and was absolutely spotless. It was lovely coming back to a clean, tidy room each day.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay. It’s a beautiful hotel with lovely staff, great breakfast and a really peaceful atmosphere.
Would we come back?
