Lovely hotel but room for a few improvements
My best friend and I visited the Sentido Aequora Lanzarote in May and had a lovely stay. The hotel was beautiful, well maintained and had a great atmosphere, making it a lovely choice for both families and adults looking to relax.
One of the highlights was the choice of pools, with areas suitable for children as well as adult-only pools, which was a great touch and meant there was something for everyone. The hotel grounds and dining areas were lovely, creating a relaxing environment throughout our stay.
The all-inclusive option was good overall, however there is definitely room for improvement. The selection of included branded beers and cocktails was quite limited, with many options only available at an additional cost through the All Inclusive Plus upgrade. A wider selection included as standard would have made the experience even better.
The food in the main restaurant was enjoyable, although we felt the choice could have been a little better, especially for longer stays. We did try the à la carte restaurant, but unfortunately we were a little disappointed. The experience wasn’t as good as expected, particularly when it came to catering for allergies, so this is something that could be improved.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was always kept clean and comfortable. The hotel itself was very well looked after, and the dining areas were beautifully presented.
One downside was that there were no lifts, meaning we had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs ourselves, which was difficult on arrival and departure. One of the pools was also closed for a day or two during our stay, although we weren’t sure of the reason why.
Overall, we had a really enjoyable holiday at Sentido Aequora Lanzarote. With a few small improvements, especially around the all-inclusive drinks selection, food variety and accessibility, it would be an even better experience. We would still recommend it for a relaxing holiday with plenty of facilities for both families and adults.
Very pleasant stay with friendly staff and a great location near the beach
We stayed at Aequora Lanzarote Suites as a couple in June 2026 and really enjoyed our stay.
The hotel was exactly what we hoped for from the photos and description. It was clean, comfortable and had a relaxed holiday atmosphere. We also liked the food and were happy with the all-inclusive service.
The staff were one of the best parts of the stay — always friendly, helpful and pleasant. We really appreciated that, as good service is not always guaranteed even in hotels of a similar category.
The hotel is a little further from the centre of Puerto del Carmen, but this was not a problem for us. It is close to a beautiful long beach, and there are enough shops and places nearby to buy anything you need.
Overall, we had a very nice holiday and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great stay!
We have just returned from an amazing first family holiday here with our baby. Location – Perfect! The transfer from the airport was around 10 minutes, which is brilliant when you're travelling with a little one. There were plenty of bars and shops within walking distance, and the beach was also just a short stroll from the hotel, making it ideal for walks at any time of day. You can also catch the bus nearby into Puerto del Carmen for around €2. The hotel itself was immaculate. You could always see multiple members of staff cleaning the paths, pools, and public areas, which were kept spotless throughout our stay. We loved that there was a choice of pools and that there were always sunbeds available, no matter what time of day. The main pool was a little cold for our baby, but the splash park was much warmer. It would be great to see a small children's pool integrated into the splash park in the future. Our room was perfect—very spacious, with a separate sleeping area for our baby, which made a huge difference. Our terrace led directly out to the splash park and was only a short walk from the nearest bar. The food was excellent, with so much variety. Everything we ate was hot and tasted lovely. There was plenty for our daughter to eat too, and if you have fussier children, I think they would be well catered for as well. My only small concern was seeing a bird eating food from the salad area one morning. I reported it, but the waitress didn't seem too concerned, or perhaps she didn't understand what I was saying. Thankfully, this only happened once during our stay. The staff were all so kind and friendly. Every single member of staff we came across interacted with our baby, especially in the buffet restaurant. We were really impressed by how warm and welcoming everyone was, and our daughter loved seeing them every day. We also went to the children's disco a few times, which was great fun. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and were very sad to come home. We would definitely return in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to other families
