no children's pool, instead there is some wavy acrylic carpet that smells like plastic. This is definitely not a hotel for families with small children.
Very pleasant stay with excellent service
👍 Highlights
Very kind and efficient staff.
Reception requests were handled immediately.
Special mention to Juan José in the restaurant, who was particularly attentive.
Very clean hotel, spacious rooms and pleasant terraces.
Good-quality, varied food, with live cooking stations and local dishes/products.
Despite almost 400 rooms, the hotel doesn't feel overcrowded.
Very welcoming towards families and children.
Free water dispensers throughout the hotel — bring a reusable bottle or get one at reception.
Free bicycles, perfect for the cycle path along the beach.
Non-smoking hotel with designated smoking areas — a big plus.
Good-quality cocktails and drinks, especially compared with many all-inclusive hotels.
Well-managed pool areas. Special mention to the lifeguard who prevents guests from reserving sun loungers with towels — this should definitely continue.
Excellent evening entertainment, both the external shows and the hotel’s entertainment team.
🔧 Areas for improvement
Breakfast coffee was quite diluted; better-quality coffee would be appreciated.
Pool floors could use a quick daily cleaning.
Some restaurant plates were occasionally not completely clean.
Some rooms have a very powerful spotlight directly outside. Lowering the intensity would be nice.
Soundproofing through the exterior-facing door could be improved, although soundproofing between rooms was good.
Overall: A very enjoyable stay, with excellent staff, good food and many thoughtful facilities. A great choice for a family holiday. Would definitely come back!
Good location rooms are nice bit small excellent value cleaners work really hard and the other staff as well nothing was ever an issue when you asked for something the food was lovely always something to eat you always got a subbed at the pool can’t wait to be back
We stayed here for 10 nights in July and we loved this hotel and will return. We stayed in a junior suite with the all inclusive package. The room was so spacious and modern with outside seating we was in room 5001 just next to the adult pool which was so relaxing and quiet. It was a really chilled holiday for us with just sunbathing and relaxing. The staff are excellent and very friendly. I must mention the staff in the adult only restaurant as there service was 1st class and I would give the food 8/10 but above all great service. Only down point for us was certain members of the entertainment team I said good morning to them a few times and they just walked by me and after that I just never spoke to them. Maid service in the rooms is also 1st class they give you an option on how often you want your room cleaned when you arrive we picked every two days and the service was excellent. Also at the adult pool there was always sunbeds only a few times we seen people struggle to get beds but that was early afternoon. There is always staff going about the hotel cleaning and doing maintenance which is very good to see. Great hotel with 1st class staff service.
This was our first stay at Sentido Aequora suites but it won’t be our last! We had room 4122, in block 4 which overlooks the Maris pool and theatre. Great position to be in, central to the complex and near the Poseidon restaurant. Ours was a junior suite, which was a great layout. There is a king bed in the bedroom, then a sitting area which is where the sofa converts to a single bed. Two TVs if that’s your thing. There’s also a kettle and a coffee machine, and a mini bar type fridge, but it’s not cold enough to keep anything really cold. The bathroom is in the middle of the room, with a door to the toilet and door to the shower, the rest if open plan.
The room was spotless, and the cleaning crew were amazing. The rooms are cleaned daily and our towels were changed every day. They did such a good job and always did so with a smile too! The whole resort is incredibly clean and tidy, there’s always staff cleaning and keeping the place spotless.
The food was great too. We went half board and the breakfasts were pretty standard for what you expect, a good selection of breads, fruits, cooked sections and bakery items too. I was a bit worried after the first dinner when we arrived as the food seemed pretty basic but I think that was just the end of the night, as every night after that was excellent. The selection was great, delicious salads, pizzas and pastas, and two live cooking sections where there were meats and fish, and rice and noodles dishes. The Thursday was our favourite when they had a delicious selection of sushi, steaks and fried rice. The desserts are when you’d expect from this type of resort, varied and tasty! The chocolate truffle tart was excellent!
The pools are great and very clean, we went at different times and didn’t struggle to get a bed once. The lifeguards are very vigilant at packing up towels from reserved sun beds, which was great. The Maris pool was our favourite, it gets busy in the afternoon but not busy enough you can’t enjoy yourself. Pool temp was good too, colder in the morning but soon heats up!
The prices of drinks re really reasonable too, at meals we’d have soft drinking at about £2 each, and beers were a little more but very reasonable.
The gym is small but well maintained and the equipment is pretty new. Towels are there for your use and there’s a water machine in there too. AC wasn’t the coldest in there though.
We loved the area too, plenty of bars and shops but the hotel is a little bit back so it’s not noisy, it’s maybe a 5 min walk to the local spar and Marcos, which is a well recommended bar for cocktails, mocktails and food. Great base for exploring the area! We will 100% be back.
