Vitalclass Lanzarote SPA and Wellness Resort

Rooms: the room's look pleasant enough and very spacious, they are cleaned daily, the aircon was pretty much none existent and unfortunately on our last night during sleep a large cockroach climbed on me and up to my face! Location: far from everywhere, there isn’t even a close by supermarket to get essentials and walking with litres of water is no easy task. We had waterpark access at aqualand which was great and only 5€ in a taxi Facilities: the pool is in very poor condition with broken tiles, I seen several people get cut feet and they don’t do anything about it. The tiny splash park at the back only 2 slides aren’t broken but you need to chuck a bucket of water down before you ride Entertainment: usual hotel mini disco however it’s very short, we counted it was 19 minutes long one night! They do then have something else on each night for the adults. Service: restaurant staff, bar staff and entertainment staff are pleasant but the reception staff seem quite miserable, sadly a month before our holiday I emailed to request my room be next to my sisters as she’s disabled and needs my assistance, Manuel replied straight away and said our request had been granted and we would be next to each other…this wasn’t the case and they couldn’t accommodate, this was a real inconvenience and stressful, I was 2 floors away from her so constantly up and down stairs. When we realised I emailed them back from our room asking for them to try and swap us…they never replied! Food: I didn’t find it too bad, I’m not fussy and was able to find something daily although choice is limited. For those with kids I found it really strange that they didn’t have chicken nuggets on once. Kids buffet is plain pasta, A sauce, calamari and barely cooked chips that was it! Overall: wouldn’t stay again, wouldn’t recommend unless you enjoy cockroaches crawling on you in your sleep and potentially being injured in the pool

Almost perfect holiday spoiled only by one thing easily fixed. Great rooms Great facilities Great staff very good food and drink Only bad point was the queue for drinks all day at the pool bar and especially in the evening. Often queues out of the door . Easily sorted with an extra member of staff which worked on rare occasions. We went out to nearby bars most nights because of it.
