Ok but no longer 4 star
Location is excellent 2minute walk from the main square and the beach. The hotel and rooms are very tired and need an upgrade, it is more like a 2/3 star hotel at the present. First thing is if you have an early flight please note check in is 3pm and you will have to wait until gone 3pm to get to your room. When we did check in we were told that we had been upgraded! Not sure what we were upgraded from as this room was not really an upgrade in our eyes and if it was I dread to think what the room would have been like had we not been upgraded. The air con started leaking after 2 days and had clearly leaked before as ceiling had been plastered and all the paint was coming off. When we informed reception they took the room number and said yes they are aware of it. Luckily they fixed it and we had no other problems. The breakfast was excellent. As per usual there is never enough umbrellas and with the rising temperatures there should be an umbrella with every two sun beds. And the small tables between the sun beds were never cleaned and were always filthy and even had cigarette butts and ash in the cup holders in many of them. The shower pressure was very slow and took ages to actually wash the soap off. The room cleaning is anytime from 9am until 5pm! And unfortunately our room always seemed to be between 4-5pm when we were usually coming back to the room. Never been anywhere where the cleaners are still cleaning rooms up to 5pm. The reception staff were very polite and friendly.

AMAZING hotel, staff and price. 100% recommend.
LOVED our stay! Staff were so friendly, attentive, fun and always someone around to help. They all speak multiple fluent languages. The hotel was very clean! Rooms were lovely and cleaned daily. Powerful hairdryers in the room so no need to bring your own and fridge provided. Air con was good and beds comfy!
The food was lovely at all meals with all inclusive and plenty of drinks on the all inclusive menu. 5 lovely cocktails to choose from and great brands.
The location was brilliant having the beach at the back entrance of the gate and lovely bars and restaurants all around the hotel.
Pool lovely and clean and plenty of Sunbeds so never without. Plenty of umbrellas if you prefer the shade.
Entertainment in the hotel pub every night and quick bar staff.
Would 1000% recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be back, thank you to all staff!
Great fun but not a 4 star experience
We have just returned from our 2nd visit here. We came for a long weekend in February. Apart from the lunch which wasn’t up to much, we had a great time in February sometimes half board.
Hands down, staff friendliness and the downstairs restaurant (serving breakfast and dinner) were definite saviours of this hotel. All staff, bar, restaurant and reception were so friendly and couldn’t do enough. They work so hard and smiled all day long with everyone. Rosemary from animation was just incredible (Danny cleared off on holiday after our first day - Maybe something we said 🤣). She has such amazing energy, created so much fun and got everyone involved without being pushy. Thanks for everything rosemary!
Room for improvement: Our first 3/4 days the air con wasn’t working. We were also given a much smaller room than last time and it was a struggle to sleep with the stifling heat. However, after speaking with a manageress, this was eventually fixed and we were offered a meal in the specialist restaurant as compensation.
Housekeeping was fine- beds made up on a daily basis but excepting the bathroom, surfaces and floors weren’t cleaned more than once a week, if at all. But our main issue with the hotel was the general cleanliness of the environment- corridors were not kept clean, cigarette butts and spillages could at times take days to be cleaned up. Poolside was hosed down everyday but the tables beside the loungers are absolutely filthy.
Overall we had a wonderful holiday. It was great fun due to staff and clientele but the company need to stop cutting costs if they intend to remain a 4 star. Right now they are operating how you would expect a 3 star. You’ll have a good time but it’s by no means a standard 4 star experience. Pay a little extra to go to the Barcelo next door or the Raddison.

Great location, lovely staff.
Great location, staff are very friendly, especially the entertainment team. Room was cleaned every day and so was the pool area. Only gave 4 stars because there was no day time activities Saturdays and Sunday and the food was average.

Give it a miss. Air con doesn't work.
Location great. Pool area lovely. Clean. Rooms need up dated .stairwells leading to rooms need freshly painted. Entertainment team brilliant thro day. No entertainment at nights. Our air on didn't work in room and other guests in hotel wer saying same. Daughters bed also collapsed during our stay. Staff did help out and wer great but these things shouldn't happen. We won't be back at this hotel more 3star in my opinion
