Radisson Blu Resort Lanzarote, is the first opening of the brand in Lanzarote. I previously used to visit the hotel with my friend Liz when it was the Coronas Playa and the Radisson Blu. I visited last year twice as a solo visitor and this was my second visit this year. The staff without doubt are the most wonderful group of people I’ve ever met in my other hotel. Rooms are huge and stylish I always request rooms overlooking the top pool and the balconies get the sun most of the day. Food is excellent love my breakfast so many choices and dinner has a themed menu every evening. Thanks to all of you who made my stay so wonderful, with a very special mention to Caroline Juan and Oliver on reception, Nati and all in the dining room staff,Nadia at the pool bar who’s sunny personality just made you smile, and Rose who cleaned my room every day meticulously and always so friendly. Planning to return in April May next year and look forward to seeing you all again.
Ideal location. Staff wonderful. Food choice huge and delicious. Near bus stop, direct access to coastal path. Plenty of sun beds.
We visited this hotel for 11 nights on a B&B basis. We booked the holiday with easyJet 15 months prior to departure. At the time of booking there was a free upgrade to a sea view suite with crown service included in the cost of the holiday. After a flight delay we arrived late , we were allocated a room on the fourth floor as we had requested. The room was very spacious and modern. The hotel is large, spotlessly clean and modern. The breakfast was one of the best we've had, with so much choice. The dining room is large and ideal for a leisurely breakfast. The dining room staff were very friendly and polite. There are four pools at this hotel, two of which are meant to be heated, that is questionable as they were very cold. Luckily it was very hot whilst we were there which meant we were still able to use them. The crown service was excellent. We ate in the Maar bar most days. There was a good choice of snacks and foods available, cheeses, fruit and hot food. There were cocktails, spirits, beers, wine soft drinks and coffees on offer. If you opt for the crown service you also get your own allocated padded sun loungers.
The rooms have a very modern feel, however we feel that a few changes could be made to make the rooms more user friendly. The shower cubicle needs a shelf to put toiletries on. We also think that there should be a hand rail in the cubicle. After a shower the floor becomes slippy, we asked for a bath mat, but we feel that all rooms should be offered one. We had to ask for a plug for the sink as they don't leave one in the room routinely. The sink looked lovely, but the height of it meant a struggle to lean over to rinse after tooth brushing. The lovely looking large lighted mirror wasn't bright enough to apply make up. I am not a fan of bright lights, but with every light on we struggled to find things in the room. There was a good amount of storage space but it was all low down. I have a problem with my back and hip and struggled getting up and down. The air con doesn't really work properly. The temperature was in the mid 30s whilst we were there, we had the sun in our room in the afternoon and it was stifling. We reported it, a maintenance man came out. He said that the temperature on the thermostat was the outside temperature. He proceeded to show us a hand held thermometer and said that the room temperature was 16 degrees. This was was nonsense, if it had been that temperature I would have been too cold. We weren't the only guests complaining about the air con. We spoke to and heard many conversations with the same complaint. We went into Costa Teguise a few times, we didn't really think there was a lot going on. We really enjoyed our stay at this adults only hotel. We loved the peace and quiet and relaxed atmosphere We just felt that with a few tweaks this could be a 5 star. We didn't love Costa Teguise, but we would definitely return just to stay at this hotel, especially if we get another good deal
What an amazing resort! The pools were stunning! Food was amazing, and the staff was top notch.
We had a fantastic stay and honestly couldn’t fault the hotel. Everything was absolutely spotless — even the robot cleaners seemed to be working day and night and definitely earned their money! 🤣🤖 We somehow ended up naming ours Colin… no idea why! 🤣 The food was brilliant, with plenty of choice and something for everyone. The gym was compact but well equipped and perfectly adequate for keeping up with a workout while away. What really stood out for us, though, was the staff. Everyone was so lovely, friendly and helpful, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. If there was ever a language or communication difficulty, they were incredibly patient and would take the time to make sure they fully understood what we were asking. They genuinely went out of their way to help. A beautiful, spotlessly clean hotel with great food and wonderful staff. We had a brilliant stay and would highly recommend it. We would definitely return!
