Melia Salinas

We are just back from a wonderful week in this hotel. Everything was just perfect from the warm welcome to the moment we left. Service is definitely the best I’ve experienced in a long time. We had the reserve suite ocean facing and loved it. We used the reserve pool area and ate lunch there most days where Carol was so attentive and friendly. We loved being able to hang out on the cabanas and while there were always beds available we did notice the habit of people reserving beds all day and not using them but I think this happens everywhere. Food choices excellent and no issue getting reservations in the specialty restaurants. Probably the most chilled holiday we’ve had in ye at a thank you

This was the second time at the Melia Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote and once again the hotel delivered on all fronts, fantastic staff, brilliant food and drink alongside excellent facilities which culminated into a very relaxing two break for the two of us. We decided for this trip to celebrate our 60th birthdays we chose the penthouse suite, and it was a fully vindicated decision, a well laid out space, with large terrace with views across the bay and Costa Teguise, complimented by superb housekeeping. The reserve pool was superb, with the reserve bar looking after us daily, as we soaked up the two weeks of wall-to-wall sunshine. The food and drink were excellent, as we had two weeks stay, we ate in the Malva, alongside the three restaurants, we also enjoyed tapas for lunch at La Graciosa and the ginger bar for morning coffees and nighttime drinks, also we enjoyed the reserve breakfast and even had time, courtesy of the penthouse, for a breakfast served to the room which was enjoyed on the terrace. We stayed at other ‘all-inclusive’ hotels, but the Paradisus Salinas is on a different level and when we returned, from our holiday we were fully relaxed and slightly heavier than when we arrived. M

My partner and I stayed at Paradisus Salinas for six nights in August 2026, looking for a truly relaxing, child-free getaway with standout food (a rare treat for us to get more than a couple of nights away together without the kids!). The hotel delivered on every single front. The Food & Drink

The dining options are fantastic. Alongside the main buffet, there are three à la carte restaurants with no limit on how often you can reserve them during your stay. Honestly, the buffet was so impressive that we only ended up booking an à la carte once!

The buffet themes rotated across our stay—we had Mexican, Italian, Asian, and dedicated seafood nights. My partner is a massive seafood lover and was in her element with the constant supply of prawns and lobster.

Outside the main restaurant, you won’t go hungry:

• The Shack (Pool Bar): Great casual lunch spot serving tasty burgers, hot dogs, and chips.
• Ginger (Lobby Bar): Offers a 24-hour menu with lighter bites like sandwiches and hummus. By day it has a relaxed coffee-shop vibe, and by evening it turns into a great cocktail lounge.

The drinks were spot on. Cocktails are mixed with premium spirits and well-balanced rather than overly boozy, with round-the-clock availability.

The Pool & Location Before visiting, we’d seen a few reviews mentioning the main pool was cold. Being late August definitely helped, but we thought it was great. It’s slightly brisk when you first dip your toes in, but perfectly refreshing once you’re in. The volcanic lagoon-style design is stunning. Beach access directly from the hotel is seamless, and a quick stroll along the promenade leads straight to local shops, bars, and restaurants if you fancy venturing out.

The Room & Atmosphere We stayed in a standard room without upgrading to The Reserve, and it was brilliant—spacious, complete with a sea view, and hands down some of the most comfortable pillows we’ve ever slept on. The housekeeping team did a remarkably thorough job each day.

The whole resort has an easygoing, tranquil, and peaceful atmosphere. I’m usually not one to return to the exact same hotel, but I’m already planning a winter return here.
