Just back from our 4th visit maybe our last! the good points are the new restaurant and in our opinion the food has gotten a lot better the staff work tirelessly they never stop and always remain polite even when people are demanding. The rooms are good cleaned every day if u leave the card on door .Only one annoyance is they only leave 2 tiny milks we just bought our own from spa across the rd .The WiFi is very good. Our air-conditioning wasn't to good it was stuck on a certain temperature. The bar staff were good they are always busy .Francisco is amazing very pleasant hardworking he needs a medal for all he does .All the staff in this hotel are hardworking, pleasant and make this hotel .Its spotlessly clean everywhere .Now for a few negatives .The pool bar isn't an adequate size for the hotel and needs more staff usually one person serving and cleaning up !most often long ques but the staff run around doing everything Monique the lady does a fantastic job and never stops i don't know how she copes . Not only drinks at the bar there is a small amount of sandwiches and bits of fruit are available. At 3.30 there's an outside area for hotdogs , burgers and chips which are tasty . The entertainment in our opinion is often poor not tip quality acts we went out most nights .The entertainment team do very little. Now the most annoying is the sunbeds situation by 8 o'clock nearly all sunbeds were gone same people same place everyday if u want to be near the pools no chance we got up at 5.30 one morning and it was still dark looked out onto the pool area and people were down there putting towels and moving parasols , tables and then lay on the beds in the dark lol we did see the guard take some towels away one day we managed to get 2 beds by pool no sunshade as they had been taken by other people. There were 6 beds ,2parasols and tables ,all had towels or something on the beds this was at 8.30 the people 3 of them eventually turned up 7 hours later ! Why cant the hotel keep the doors closed until a certain time ? We've been to other hotels where pool areas are closed off till 9 o'clock and there never pool wars it give everyone a chance .So we have booked again for next year but now thinking of changing .The pics are of people at 6 in morning.
The location of the hotel is fantastic. It’s right on the beach, so you really can’t fault that. There are plenty of shops and bars nearby, but the area itself is one of the quieter parts of Lanzarote, which was perfect for us.
The hotel is very large, although I did feel it lacked a little atmosphere around the pool. There’s one speaker that gets brought out during the day, but you can hardly hear it. We definitely weren’t looking for a rave, but a bit of background music in some of the other areas of the pool would have made a difference and created a nicer atmosphere.
That said, there are always activities going on with the animation team, and they work really hard to get people involved, which was great to see.
The rooms are a good size. We were on the first floor and had a fantastic view, which was a real highlight.
We stayed half board and the food was perfectly fine — pretty much what you’d expect from a large resort or all-inclusive-style buffet. There was always plenty of variety, and the themed evenings were a nice touch. You can also swap your evening meal for lunch, which we did one day so that we could go out for dinner instead, which was really useful.
The evening entertainment was consistently very good, with something different on each night. We also had drinks at the bar most evenings. The drinks were fine, although service could sometimes take a while.
One thing I would suggest is offering a better range of alcohol-free drinks. There was only one 0% beer option, Heineken, so it would have been nice to have a little more choice.
We visited the week after the children had gone back to school, so there were very few children around, which was ideal if you’re looking for a quieter, more relaxing break. My partner and I are in our 30s and we were probably among the youngest guests there, so it’s definitely worth bearing that in mind depending on the type of holiday you’re after.
Overall, we had a good stay. There aren’t really any bells and whistles, but if you’re looking for somewhere to relax in the sun, switch off and not have to worry about much, it does the job very well. I’d happily recommend it for a laid-back holiday.
Beautiful hotel, clean and very well kept. All staff very friendly and helpful. Location is wonderful, small safe beach literally on your doorstep. Numerous shops and bars/restaurants all within a 2 minute walk. Pool area well maintained with plenty of sunbeds for everyone! We stayed all inclusive, and enjoyed a wide variety of food, with something for everyone. Hope to return next year 🙂
This hotel is very handy for all buses and shopping. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Rooms are good size and well maintained. Food is excellent and there is going variety every day. Can't recommend this hotel enough.
