Disappointing stay — the worst all-inclusive experience we have ever had.

Before travelling, we had read some poor reviews and were concerned, but we decided to make up our own minds and give the hotel a fair chance. Unfortunately, our experience was even worse than we could ever have imagined.

The food was horrendous, with very little choice, and we even saw a cockroach walk across the dining room, which was extremely concerning.

The apartment was dirty and badly in need of refurbishment. It looked nothing like the photos advertised — the hotel felt old, run down, and like it was falling apart. There were cobwebs everywhere in the apartment, suggesting it had not been properly cleaned or maintained. We found a strong smell of urine on the mattresses, a hole in the sofa bed mattress, rust throughout the room, a cracked sink and toilet, and ants. Even after the maid had been in, the apartment was still not properly cleaned — the beds were made and towels changed, but there were still dead ants left all over the floor. On one occasion, the maid also left our door open after cleaning, which was very worrying.

The service was disappointing too. We asked for a cup to be cleaned/replaced but were made to feel like it was an inconvenience. There were no consistent daytime snacks available apart from sandwiches and fruit.

The pool area was stressful, with people rushing to grab sunbeds early in the morning. Entertainment was poor, and the entertainment area had no air conditioning, making it extremely hot, sweaty, and uncomfortable.

Overall, this was not the relaxing holiday we were hoping for. The condition, cleanliness, food quality, and lack of comfort were major issues throughout our stay. The hotel did not match the advertised photos, and in our opinion this was the worst all-inclusive we have ever experienced. We would not return.

AVOID!!! This was the worst hotel I've stayed in and, in my opinion, it definitely isn't deserving of a three-star rating. The stay got off to a poor start with a 3pm check-in time. After taking an early morning flight, we had to wait around for hours before we could access our room, which wasn't ideal, especially after travelling. The rooms were very dated and dirty. Our balcony was covered in old pigeon droppings when we arrived, and the floor hadn't been properly mopped. The room also had a noticeable damp, mouldy smell, especially in the bathroom. Throughout our stay, the room wasn't cleaned properly, and the towels provided were stained. There were also what appeared to be blood splatters on the stairs leading to the rooms, which remained there for days without being cleaned. There was no air conditioning apart from the dining room. The rooms only had a ceiling fan, which made very little difference in the heat. The hotel did replace the fan after we reported that it was loose on the ceiling, but the replacement made a constant ticking noise. Three days later a screw actually fell out, and only then did the noise stop. The rooms were unbearably hot at night, making it very difficult to sleep. We had ants in the bathroom and in the main room. The hotel responded quickly and sprayed the room, which reduced the problem a little. The water from the shower would run brown at times. The food was the biggest disappointment. As a vegan, I'm used to 3* hotels having limited options, but even the rest of my family, who eat meat and aren't fussy, struggled to find meals they enjoyed. Only one night out of seven was the food half edible. The sunbed situation was annoying. They were kept locked away until 10am, but guests would reserve areas beforehand by leaving chairs, towels and bags where they wanted to sit. As soon as the sunbeds were unlocked, they would move them into those spaces. For the first few days there weren't enough sunbeds for everyone, although the hotel did eventually bring in more, which improved the situation. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay and I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel!
