Lovely holidays with Vanessa,Dylan and Juan and the animation staff
Bien hehe
Absolutely disgusting
Staff are rude Rooms stink Cockroaches in the room
Don’t come as a family because you can’t put tables together.
Cancelled my holiday for October Wish I never encouraged my friend to meet me.
Had to eat separately The alcohol isn’t alcohol So don’t expect all inclusive No glasses Rooms are so hot
No towels having to ask daily
And if you have a late flight don’t expect a drop of water for your kids
Life guard also slapped my daughters hand
Sun bed war daily
This is a 3 star hotel in a great location. The food is exactly as you would expect from a 3 star all inclusive , the rooms, although dated, were very clean and bed linen and towels changed and room cleaned daily if you wished. The staff are all very friendly and Juan who provides daytime activities and his evening entertainment was fabulous. My son who is 16 has Down syndrome and his experience from the staff was just fabulous with an extra special thank you to Juan who just took him under his wing keeping him busy with water polo, pool, darts and lots of laughs. A short drive from the airport and a short walk to the square for bars and restaurants if you fancied a change. A short walk to beautiful beaches too and the added bonus of the water park within a 10 minute walk. This budget cost effective hotel is ideal for a budget holiday and we would definately stay again in the future.
Not bad for a few nights.
We were delayed and arrived at midnight. No drinks available except from the vending machine only coke and ice tea.
Rooms are very outdated ,broken floor tiles and stains on bedding furniture hass seen better days All marked and chipped. However was clean.
Like the kitchenette idea only used the fridge to keep water cold.
Nice terrace to sit out on but we were facing the main road.
Pool is very small for the amount of guests. You have to wait till 10am for the lifeguard to unlock the sunbeds . Never seen this before in a hotel. If you were not there at 9.30am waiting you would not get a bed.
Food was ok not great ,had bacon egg sausages, cereal yoghurt ect for breakfast.
Lunch and dinner pretty much pasta burgers all very cheap tasting.
Drinks were good and you could get sandwiches ice-cream nachos and fruit from the pool bar.
Taxi to the square where there are shops and restaurants about €4
For what we paid it was fine as we were leaving more children arriving due to school holidays so I think it could get very crowded in the pool and the chances of getting a lounger by the pool would be harder.
Overall I give it 3 out of 5 Definitely come back to lanzarote just not this hotel.
Went with low expectations based on reviews but the food was far better than expected. They had a full English on everyday and the sausage, fried eggs and hash browns were particularly good. They also had some fruit, cereals and meats and bread.
For other meals they always had chips, pasta, sauce, and a fresh meat being cooked on the grill in addition to two other meats, some sort of potato and veg and salad. Special shout out to Monica who cooked the most amazing beef stir fry tonight with rice, one of the best meals I've had in ages!
Juan was great getting everyone up for games on our first day, we joined in petanque, table tennis and had a great game of water polo! Most of the staff were friendly.
The rooms are a good size and beds comfy. We seemed to have a fly problem in out bathroom though and think it is due to the vent being broken (there was tissue shoved in it) if the hotel addressed this and replaced the vents then people wouldn't complain and say the rooms were dirty, which they weren't.
We walked to the local beach (5 mins away) but it was underwhelming, so we carried on an extra 5 mins around the coast and came to Playa del Jablillo which was a beautiful turquoise cove. Didn't spend too much time in the town but it had several shops and restaurants. We actually explored the island and that really made the holiday for us. Puerto del Carmen is great and definitely worth a visit!
It's a shame balls aren't allowed in the pool, but we didn't spend much time there tbh. The hotel is a great base for exploring you cannot complain with the price! I would also like to add I feel this hotel would be a great place for teenagers having their first holiday abroad or families taking children away for the first time as it is very small and feels very safe!
Thank you, we had a lovely week away.!
