Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
2nd time staying at this hotel in 18 months. We went firstly as a large family group and a smaller group this year. It is a very good hotel with great staff and service. Portafino restaurant evening service has dropped noticeably. Other restaurants options all good. Isabel from Guest Services was very attentive and professional and dealt with our concerns. We will return soon and hope Portafino returns to its high standards next time.
Just returned from a short break with my Sister. The hotel was excellent, and staff very helpful. The room was very clean and a good size, with a balcony and sea view. We were on a Bed and Breakfast basis. There was plenty of choice. A very relaxing quiet break which is exactly what we wanted. I hope to return in the near future. If you want a peaceful relaxing break I recommend Secrets Hotel and Spa.

Great hotel and fantastic service. The hotel itself is clean, and has everything you would expect from a 5* hotel.
Be weary of the preferred club areas. Some of the official pictures that you look at when you book are for "preferred members only".
It is a large hotel, all rooms look nice and we stayed in a basic double room. had everything we needed.
Make sure you have set aside money for taxis as the hotel is around 20 mins (£35) taxi ride to Puerto Del Carmen. You can get a bus but it's a long ride. Puerto Calero is a 15 min walk along the beach front, smaller area but plenty of places to eat.
The hotel is at the more expensive end to eat and drink in. We did get discount cards for our first meal when we checked in. The drinks and food were good though.
The spa is great too. Free tea, coffee and sweet treats. Robes are ready in the rooms.
Overall, great stay, just be mindful if you want to explore, take some extra cash.

Stayed for 1 weeks relaxing break, we have used Secrets Hotels previously, this stay was equally as good as others, complete stay was exceptional. Service and food was to the highest degree. We would reccomend to anyone.
