Amazing place to stay , lovely food , very clean hotel and very friendly staff. Nice 10 minute walk to the marina for bars and restaurants We booked again for next year.
A lovely 11 night stay we were lucky enough to stay in room 601 which was a perfect location. Maria was extra special with her kindness & attention to detail, especially with a couple of things that we needed assistance with she was very prompt. Also Josef who was very helpful when we were checking out at reception. Only disappointing issue was during our 2nd week the hotel seemed much busier & meal times in the restaurants seemed very chaotic. No welcome drinks no trio of butters offered with bread service (although other tables had this, and guests in front of us were offered welcome drinks, we however just had packets of margarine), all very rushed then long waits for food & no offer of dessert at times. None of these issues really bothered us it was just that we’d experienced the same restaurants the previous week & it had been a much more pleasant experience & exactly what you would expect from such a lovely hotel. This wasn’t our first visit & hopefully it won’t be our last!

This was our second time at Secrets Lanza, first was a long time ago when it was the Hysperia as a couple and now as 2 couples. It was good then and has improved for even better. We only booked at short notice but everything was perfect from arrival to departure, on arrival Harsh on reception (trainee but very good and he must be kept on !) and manu the energetic and friendly porter ! We had the all inclusive preferred club with suites and did not disappoint, great rooms with views, the spacious and quiet lounger areas and the choice of restaurants was fabulous and we used Portafino for breakfast each day and some evening meals, as well as Oceanside for lunch and dinner and the grill bar for dinner with the steak on the grill was awesome. All staff very friendly and helpful. Will certainly aim to stay again and it's the best hotel we've been to in Lanzarote (have been many times to more than 5 hotels).
We visited this resort for a week and we were delighted with the overall quality of the restaurants, pools, and public areas. The Preferred Club room was spotlessly clean and generally quiet in the evenings. We ate in the Portofino restaurant (excellent), the Grill (OK), the World cafe (good) and our favourite restaurant was the Ocean sea food restaurant where the food and service from Ali exceptional. The Preferred Club pool is meant to have a drinks service around the pool and we found this a bit “hit and miss”. Also, the pool area could do with a nightly sweep to remove straws, napkins, etc.
Puerto Calero is a ten minute stroll away where it’s possible to buy anything you might have forgotten
