Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We booked just 1 month beforehand. It was a very good all inclusive price. All the staff were excellent. The food and drink and entertainment was good and we enjoyed the fitness classes. The only item to improve is the air-conditioning in the main restaurant as it was too hot.
Great location at the top of the cove overlooking the sea. You get good sunsets. The hotel was probably too busy for us and was at full occupancy in early September. The pool areas were cramped with all the sunbeds taken, luckily you can't put towels down. Some sun beds were old and uncomfortable.
The room we had was on the eighth floor, it was a good size and was kept clean. Slightly outdated and some refurbishment is required. I would have liked the bedding to have been changed over the 10 days there. There was plenty of tea and coffee and complimentary nuts.
The Restaurants were busy but up until the last few days of our stay service was excellent. When key staff were off you noticed how the service dropped off.
Evening entertainment was good, bars were busy there seemed to be no air conditioning in either restaurants and bars and it was very hot.
We tried to secure a late check out due to a delayed late flight but there was no capacity, a shower room was provided for a half hour time slot. Would I book again, probably not unless out of season.
review Reviewed Firstly the positives: The view is stunning and every room has a sea view. The day time entertainment isn’t in your face, but there if you want it. The evening entertainment was pretty decent, the silent discos were so much fun! The food was good, always a choice and something we liked. They had a seperate small gluten free table at every meal and in the snack bar. This included bread with a separate toaster, crackers and usually pre-packed muffins. It’s in a nice location, but not that much going on locally. There is a daily bus to Mogán though, it leaves at 9.30 and returns leaving at 12.30 if you can get a taxi for €25 each way if you want to stay longer or go on the market day (Friday only and bus spaces get released on Weds to book up and if books up quickly). The beach is right by the hotel, but is a public beach and when we went it was full of children (we chose an adult only to relax). The drinks were good, lots of choice without upgrading. The staff were mostly friendly, there was one waiter who often took orders for drinks and never returned with them, despite the fact we’d been tipping (not necessarily, but you’ll get better service if you do). The rooms were clean and spacious. The bathroom was a little rough around the edges but functional and still clean. The bed were noisy though! Every time you turned over, the wheels moved and squeaked loudly. The negatives: Noise of the beds (as above). There is a large water park directly next door that you can see from your balcony and from both the lunch restaurant and the al a carte. You can only hear it at certain times, but definitely over lunch! The biggest negative, by far, is the temperature of the main restaurant in the evening. It is ridiculously hot! It needs some serious air conditioning in there. Overall it’s a good 4 star hotel, just be prepared for the waterpark next door. If the price was right I’d definitely go back and I wasn’t with anyone that struggled with the heat (thinking of the restaurant).
This is no way a five star as TUI advertise , where do I start . Arrived for a 9 night holiday for a 60th birthday and a 40th wedding anniversary, was very much intouch with the hotel a month before we arrived so hoping everything would be ok??? Well how wrong was I , we arrived and as we were 2 couples I had asked to be put on the same floor as family disabilities, hence why I spoke to them several times before arriving, but no 2 floors down we were given which 1.5 hours after arriving I sorted it out but still very far apart on the same floor? I booked Balinese beds and paid but they were being painted which is ridiculous, yes I got paid back for 1 of the beds but absolutely annoying, there is very little air conditioning around the hotel pretty non existent, the breakfast and lunch food was not topped up and waiting 15/20 minutes to wait, had to que for tables it was hectic very disorganised, my partners 60th was a paid surprise birthday cake and a bottle of red wine, which the waiter asked him do you want your special cake now ???? Some surprise and no red wine which was paid for, absolutely heartbreaking as so much effort had gone in to this. The rooms are old and sorry but definitely not cleaned to a high standard at all, floor boards are rising really badly , mould in bathrooms, bar man in the main show area is very rude and aggressive for no reason which is not nice at all, the only thing good is Christian and the shows Christian is a very hard working young lad who is a god send to this 3 STAR HOTEL the shows were extremely good, the guests who have been a few times before won’t be going back by what we heard and can honestly see why, it’s so so sad that we paid a lot of money for this hotel and it certainly wasn’t what we wanted at all. Management upgraded to premium but to be honest meant nothing as 2 of us can’t drink due to health issues and I certainly don’t think I would say to anyone upgrade as it’s not worth it, as staff don’t recognise it at all. The whole holiday was not a good experience at all , and please avoid and go to a hotel that’s a real 5 star. Never ever going back here absolute disgrace TUI blue for letting people believe this hotel is 5 * where it is only a 3*
Tui Blue Suites is nice hotel placed on the beachfront.
Having changed hotel from the RIU prior due to food poisoning reviews the food was great. Breakfast & Dinner have the All Inc food options that come with this hotel. Lunch has less options however there’s a chef cooking various things daily. Seems to be no air con in the restaurant so it gets pretty warm. You get one free meal in the Culinarium restaurant which was nice, staff were great and friendly. The All Inc package does not include premium drinks, you have to pay more for this but Spanish San Miguel is the lager of the resort which is decent.
Sunbeds rules states you can’t leave towels on beds unattended before 10am which works really well, have seen towels being removed prior to this so fair play.
The beach is a public one so the hotel doesn’t have any allocated loungers to use, you can pay for some on the beach.
I enjoyed the week away, the staff are friendly overall week was great. The hotel is having a full renovation soon and opening again in November so would be good to see what they have done.
