This family friendly all inclusive hotel is located right at Taurito beach. All of the rooms and suites enjoy magnificent views over the sea and beach. Puerto de Mogán, with its beautiful marina within 4 km and 9 km from Puerto Rico. Restaurants, bars and access to public transport are all located in the vicinity. This enchanting establishment offers large and bright rooms and suites, some of them feature a colourful design and the others pale violet tones, fitted with cosy furniture and modern amenities to make guests' stay as comfortable as possible. For dining and wining travellers may choose from 2 buffet-style restaurants and 4 bars. Children may delight in kids' playground, two paddling pools (one with a giant dragon) and hotel entertainment, while adults plunge at the freshwater pools, work out at the gym or relax at the sauna.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We have just come back from our honeymoon in gran canaria, me and my husband had been here before last year and we chose this hotel again as our honeymoon as the hotel is amazing. The sad part of this is I'm only giving it a 4 out of 5 instead of 5 out of 5 the only reason for this is because the lifts. we were on the highest level and we did had to wait a while as there was 1 out of 3 lifts working and for the whole 10 days we were there it wasn't working, but one of the managers (I'm guessing) said to use the staff lifts for the time being which was helpful to us, but you can see the staff we not so happy about it to which I do agree on. The reason why both lifts weren't working as they had to wait for parts for this which i assume they had to wait to get from the mainland? For a hotel that operates on a daily basis which is a busy hotel i felt this should have been sorted with immediate affect as there were a few disabled people and families with buggies. On the brighter side this still is an amazing hotel, we had a lovely view of the sea and other hotels and I think the other hotel opposite us had the better entertainment as it drowned out the entertainment we had even though the entertainment was really good. The hotel is so clean and tidy you always see the staff working hard and always helping other families and the rest of the residents that were staying there. The staff are also very welcoming and always greeted people as they walked by and the staff that worked in the restaurant they were always busy and always making sure the tables were set for new families to come in they deserve a shout out!!. When we first walked into our room we were greeted with a bottle of champagne and a bottle of wine (thankyou!!) which i thought was very nice esp having a long day to travel. I would definitely would come back to this hotel ,i just think the maintence needed a bit more prompting with getting the lifts fixed and that is my only thing that let it down but everything else 100% recommend to come and stay here.
We were a party of 15 here to celebrate my 40th Birthday for a week. We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend and return. Location was ok not a lot around other then a few shops and bars as we were in a little cove however I felt we were in the better hotel out of all the ones in the area. Took around an hour and a half by coach transfer to get there although it did not feel that long. The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff very friendly, we had upgraded but some of my family hadn't therefore didn't use the restaurant that we could of used. We did use the buffet restaurant and snack bar and couldn't fault it, food was always hot, with a lot of choice. Our room was lovely and spacious with a lovely view. My 40th birthday was made very special not only by my family but also by the hotel, decorating a table at dinner with cake and a bottle of fizz. I did however have a couple of little gripes but in no way did this effect my holiday at all one was the lifts where two out of the 3 glass lifts were not working, And the fact that if you are not in an upgraded room then you aren't allowed bottle water you can only have glasses, which I find not very practical for taking to your room of an evening. I think everyone should be entitled to bottles of water in such hot conditions. I did utilise the spa and had a massage and facial which I thoroughly enjoyed. We took the hotel shuttle to Mogan to which we thought was a lovely place to visit and getting the bus there and back was quite easy. Overall had a great week celebrating and would go back again.
Group of 15 of us stayed at the Princess Taurito for a week recently for my sisters 40th. Birthday and it was lovely, very clean, food was great, staff were all so lovely and went all out on providing a table with decorations, prosecco and cakes for my sisters birthday. We decided to upgrade before we went to the ecensia package which was good giving us the options for comfier sun beds around the main pool, choice of another restaurant which we didn’t use as not all of us had that package. Overall would love to come again and hopefully will in the future. Only criticism was the lifts only one worked for floors 6 and above we were able to use cleaners lifts which helped but would have been nice for all 3 glass lifts to work.
Visited Princess Taurito mid-August with my husband and two young sons. Had an absolutely brilliant time. Not much to fault. Hotel was spotless. Room was amazing. We had a suite. Lift did let the hotel down a little bit because we found that we were waiting a long time being on the ninth floor. Food was brilliant. We did upgrade to the premium all-inclusive package, but even the food in the normal buffet was absolutely brilliant. There was so much choice. I'm gluten free and I found plenty of options that I could eat every time. There was even their own gluten-free station in the evening that had gluten-free bread. In the morning there was a gluten-free section that had crackers, biscuits, muffins, bread, and their own toaster, which was in the specified gluten-free area, so that made it really safe, and you could also pre-order pizzas, pastas, things like that, which were all really, really nice. Only challenge I had was the snack bar at lunch time there wasn't anything I could each. The only thing I would say, and I know it's a little bit out of the hotel's control, is we did see a few cockroaches. Granted it was all in the lobby, nothing in the room, but the hotel is immaculate. Cleaners cleaning every day. Drinks were all brilliant. Cocktails were made out of a carton; they weren't fresh, which was a little bit of a letdown, but all the other drinks were absolutely brilliant. Entertainment was fab. Kids club was amazing. They had something for really young children. It was like a big soft play, role play area, themed area, movie room, big slide, but then they also had like a PlayStation area where they had a couple of PlayStations, which was brilliant for older kids. They had a little splash park, which again was great, definitely more aimed at probably five and under, but my older child did still enjoy it. You could rock up at 10am and still get a bed which was brilliant and the no reserve role was enforced which was good. Will be back!
In order to review fairly, I'd like to add to my review. Things have got slightly better over the week but we still think things could be better. Staff are mostly pleasant and i was quick to say their unfriendly. That is not the case for all. Food does need a bit of attention and sunbeds are grotty. Once refurbished this hotel will be much better. Out the way though so if you want a week on site then its ok.
