This family friendly all inclusive hotel is located right at Taurito beach. All of the rooms and suites enjoy magnificent views over the sea and beach. Puerto de Mogán, with its beautiful marina within 4 km and 9 km from Puerto Rico. Restaurants, bars and access to public transport are all located in the vicinity. This enchanting establishment offers large and bright rooms and suites, some of them feature a colourful design and the others pale violet tones, fitted with cosy furniture and modern amenities to make guests' stay as comfortable as possible. For dining and wining travellers may choose from 2 buffet-style restaurants and 4 bars. Children may delight in kids' playground, two paddling pools (one with a giant dragon) and hotel entertainment, while adults plunge at the freshwater pools, work out at the gym or relax at the sauna.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel and staff are excellent. The food was also wonderful. All the staff work very hard there and you can see that through how well the hotel is . The evening entertainment was sometimes not to what I would like but it wasn't all bad.
Just got back from a fantastic holiday at the Princess Taurito a wonderful hotel in a lovely location. Overall it is of a very high standard and I was very close to this being a five star review but a few small things could be improved The hotel public areas are well appointed and kept spotlessly clean and although only 2 lifts were working on arrival the 3rd was repaired during our stay. Reception staff were very helpful and polite always giving good advice. Restaurant overall was good but not brilliant at times, we found food labelling incorrect and some dishes were lukewarm at times certainly something to improve on. On saying that the choice was good and you could always find something to eat. Entertainment was a little mixed but generally very good but could do with more information as to what is on. Pool areas are good and not being allowed to reserve sunbeds before 10am is very good the main pool is split into two one shallower than the other there is also a smaller pool and kids splash zone available. Only slight issue is the main pool surround is cracking and quite sharp in some places I have a photo to upload Rooms are well appointed and kept clean unfortunately our house keeper kept not replacing or cleaning dirty cups and spoons which we did report, they also left the balcony window insecure on one occasion which isn't good.
None of these little things are a major issue but stopped me giving a 5 star review would I return absolutely yes I would and happy to recommend it to others
This is a great hotel and all the staff were amazing. It made for an amazing holiday in a amazing location will recommend to anyone
We had actually booked to stay at the TUI Blue Suites Hotel, and were disappointed to be told that we had to change hotels only a few days before we travelled, but we are so glad of the change now. We had the Esencia package which included premium drinks, upgraded dining at The One restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and a designated terrace zone as well as many other benefits. Our Junior suite was a great size, with a coffee machine, a kettle, daily replenished tea and coffee, bathrobe and slippers, and was cleaned daily to a very high standard. The food in both The One restaurant, and the Foodmarket was of a very high quality that was replenished constantly with a great variety that catered for all tastes. All the staff were very friendly, professional, and nothing was too much trouble for any of them. The whole hotel was extremely clean throughout. We had such a great stay that we are already planning to go back next year.
Stayed September for 10 nights after a previous visit in January, which I reviewed then. It's just one of those hotels that draws you back as it has so much to offer, so relaxing and good value for money.
Our stay in January was in a gorgeous standard room, unfortunately we had an inner balcony on the first floor which limited our view. I emailed the hotel to ask for an outer balcony this time and we upgraded to the Esencia package with a junior suite. Wow! what a room, on the second floor which was perfect. As many have said the hotel is immaculate, can't count the number of linen changes, staff are friendly, we love the fact there are so many different areas to sit in comfort.
We appreciated the Esencia package although some room ameneties weren't used, next time we'd book a standard room with Esencia benefits. For us the fact we had a comfy sunbed as we're old and falling apart :) and we were able to use the One Restaurant everyday breakfast/ evening which was totally amazing! the best steak and burger we've had. The menu is the same every evening plus a special dish, but there's enough to choose from and it's presented beautifully. The atmosphere is quiet and chilled, no dashing around the food stations, avoiding others. The waiters can't do enough for you.
The Esencia drinks package is not much different to standard, some cocktails pre mixed but the mojito's made for you and they're lovely. Standard drinks include most known brands with huge measures.
We spent most of our time around the pool in our designated area :) As with most places no inflatables or ball games, plus the no reserving sunbeds before 10am is adhered to. I just wish there were steps into the pool as the majority of guests are "mature" ( there is a hoist chair ) . We took breaks from the heat in the wooden gazebo seating area overlooking the sea, so cool and breezy. We ate at the snack bar where you can mix and match your own thing, shame about the pigeons:(
Although the hotel advertises as family friendly I'd say more suited to younger children. I think over 8's would find it a bit boring. It's not a place where groups of kids hang out and the entertainment is mostly aimed at adults.
We used the hotel courtesy bus to Mogan, unfortunately it drops you by the Cordial Mogan Valle, quite a walk to the town ( old and falling apart ) . Got the ferry to Anfi 24 euros for two of us and the bus back 3.30 euros, cheap as chips! Note a taxi to and from Mogan or Puerto Rico you're looking at over 20 euros.
We were just happy to stay in the hotel most of the time and make use of the all inclusive. We met lots of lovely people who return year after year, I think we'll be on that list as we're looking at rebooking soon.
I can't understand anyone leaving a negative review as this is just the best hotel, worthy of it's 4 stars. so, thank you all at the Princess.
