Brahim made our evening truly memorable. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always had a smile on his face. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, gave great recommendations, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our meal. It’s rare to receive service that’s both professional and so personable. Thank you, Brahim, for making our experience so enjoyable—we can’t wait to come back!
We had an amazing dining experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waiter, Brahim. From the moment we arrived, he was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. He made sure we had everything we needed, offered excellent recommendations, and checked in at just the right times without ever being intrusive. His professionalism and positive attitude really stood out and made our meal even more enjoyable. Outstanding service from start to finish—Brahim is a real credit to the team. We’ll definitely be back!
Absolutely fantastic service, couldn’t ask for more. We sit down and our drinks are already coming to us at our table without even ordering! Knows our orders off by heart and nothing is to much to ask for! Brahim is brilliant!
Brahim made our holiday even more enjoyable with his outstanding service. He was always so attentive, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel genuinely looked after every evening. What really stood out was that he remembered our usual order each night, so we didn’t even have to ask—it was such a thoughtful personal touch that made us feel valued. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he always served us with a smile. Thank you, Brahim, for helping make our holiday so memorable. We hope to see you again!
We booked a British Airways holiday staying at this hotel for 11 nights from 11th to 22nd January.
In our Premium Double Room there was a minibar which was replenished every day. There was also a safe, a television, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. It was well maintained, comfortable, clear and regularly serviced to a high standard.
Room service was available with a €20 charge. Also, the Spa was operated by an independent Company so was chargeable
There were three bars which we visited during our holiday. Ginger was the 24 hour Bar, Vibra was the late night one open from 19.00 to 01.00 and the shack open from 10.00 to 18.00.
In the evenings there was usually entertainment, in either one of the Bars, food was also available at the bars during certain hours (all 3 reviewed separately)
The main restaurant was Gastro Hall which was open daily, breakfast was served from 07.30am to 10.30, lunch was 13.00 to 15.30. The restaurant reopened at 18 30 to 21.30, all meals were buffet style.
There were a number of themed restaurants which we were permitted to visit during our stay. These included Mascalzone, Kanna and Lemon Fish.
Must say no matter where we ate our meals, the food was good quality and a good range of options.
There were other dining and winery experiences available, there was an additional charge for these.
We did visit the poolside bar, The Shack, a couple of times for lunch. It is open daily from 10.00am till 18.00 serving a variety of snacks, reviewed separately.
There was a small Observatory which was open Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 20.00 where star gazing events took place, needed to book it.
The Reserve, was an exclusive area with additional extras for guests.
The pools were open from 10.00 to 18.00 there were towels provided.
The Hotel is ideally situated to walk outside and explore the local area.
Paseo Costa Canaria is roughly 5 kilometres of coastal pathway from San Agustín to Maspalomas
Playa San Agustín was just across the Paseo from the Hotel, it was €9 to hire two sunbeds, reviewed separately.
We did have a hire car, so we were out and about everyday, we were back in time to spend a few hours around the pool.
In general it was an enjoyable holiday in modern spacious Hotel with good food. The hotel's best asset was it's staff, everyone was friendly and helpful.
What we felt was the downside to the Hotel was the constant pressure to upgrade, even as we checked in, before we had even seen our room we were asked to upgrade. Even in some of the restaurants printed on the menu that we could have upgraded meals.
On the first day we did receive a card from a holiday planner inviting us to a meeting. The next day we received a phone call chasing us up, we were told she was in Reception but would be leaving in 15 minutes. We agreed to go down and meet with her, where an appointment was made to meet up with one of her colleagues.
The meeting turned out to be a hard sell of future holidays with the Hotel Group, basically another form of selling "Time Share" in another form. It all started very politely but the tone became a bit aggressive when we said we were not interested.
