Situated right in front of the spectacular San Agustín beach and very close to the Playa del Inglés beach and the shopping centre, this luxurious hotel is the best option to stay on the island. Thanks to its excellent location in one of the main tourist resorts in Gran Canaria, its complete and comfortable facilities and the quality of its services will make each stay unforgettable. The airport can be reached within a 20-minute car ride. The rooms are equipped with cosy beds and the needed amenities to please all types of guests. The property offers activities to be entertained and have a fun holiday. Business travellers might use the function rooms and then relax at the spa. Families will also enjoy a children's playground and the outdoor pool area.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages and body treatments. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 3 outdoor swimming pools, a water slide and a 24-hour fitness centre. This property also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and wedding services.
4th time coming. Never disappoints. So chill and great vibes. Food is amazing. Staff excellent. Especially Stephanie, Hamza and Orlando and Martin. Lovely pool side guy too originally from Senegal whose name escapes me but was equally lovely. Worth upgrading to Reserve if you can if you are looking for additional tranquility and extra services. Gorgeous walk along the sea promenade to Play del Ingles. 5k there and back. Reserve guests get free trips. Banana plantation and mountain walk both highly recommended. We went to Mogán. Can get there directly by local bus for €4. Worth a trip. Quite touristy but nice to break things up
Great holiday with my wife on our 1st visit to Gran Canaria. The hotel was refurbished in 2023 and whilst the core shape of it remains true to its original build in the 70’s, that is where the similarities end. We upgraded to the reserve rooms which were stylish and clean and also gave you access to an adults only pool, improved drinks menu and an à la carte service for breakfast as well as some other features. I would particularly point out Maivelys who looked after us extremely well by the poolside, although worth pointing out that the same service didn’t happen on her days off. Every member of staff was helpful and the food was great, especially in the themed restaurants, the buffet was slightly hit and miss, as with all hotels. We will be returning next year.
Lovely atmosphere and views. The food was yummy too. Big shout out to Mikel and his colleagues who provided great service and made sure we had a lovely evening.
Came with friends. This is an excellent hotel with great customer service. Aesthetically it’s gorgeous and they can’t do enough for you. if you have been to places like to Dubai / Maldives then this is a good European alternative. The all-inclusive plus is a genuine all-inclusive plus. Although I don’t drink, they use premium alcohol and have food readily available throughout the day. The pool areas are lovely and there are no challenges with getting sunbeds, which is something I hate and refuse to do! We did go outside of school holidays so that might help. It is a family friendly and adult friendly hotel, so you have the best of both. You can also stay in the reserve section where there is an adult friendly pool and access to an area where there is constant food served all day and access to premium drinks that you can pour yourself and fridge is full of namebranded drinks and bottles of water.
There are two things I would feedback.
I think there is a need for some background music by the pools, it feels quite stale / Clinical . Not loud crazy music but just background noise at least. It feels like you can hear everybody’s conversation because it’s quite quiet. We like quiet and we’re not looking for any kind of party hotel but just some background music to take away the awkwardness. When the water aerobics would start, you could see that people were enjoying the vibe a little bit more because he would have a stereo with recognisable songs.
Lastly, I think there is some training to do with staff in relation to allergies. Mistakes were made when I’d order food despite me letting them know multiple times when ordering.
Also the same wooden spoons etc are used for snacks and nuts in the reserve area and by the 24 hour bar which I think is quite risky. I know from my experience of being there that they can fix these things so I look forward to seeing that.
I would still return and bring the family.
Stayed at this resort with friends for a joint 60th birthday celebration. The hotel is quite big and tastefully decorated and well located as well. Check in was very slow - there were 2 people checking in our large group and one new staff who needed a lot of hand holding by the other 2 so it took ages. (The manager should have helped the new staff whilst the others dealt with the other guests). My bedroom was very clean with lovely decor, a very comfortable bed, balcony and a fully stocked minibar that was restocked daily. I didn’t like the open wardrobe with limited space and the room could do with a bit more space especially as suitcases took up space. The bathroom was big enough with a powerful shower, very clean with lovely toiletries and plenty of towels too.
Being all- inclusive, there were plenty of different dishes in the main dining room and across other restaurants in the resort. One feedback regarding the food in the main dining room - some of the dishes were too salty, and resulted in food being wasted as a lot of us couldn’t eat it. The chef needs to cut down on the salt as it ruined some very good dishes and too much salt is not good for anyone.
Clarisal and Maribel at breakfast and dinner were fantastic - they were very friendly, served our drinks promptly and checked if everything was ok. Concey was very abrupt at dinner and not friendly so needs to brush up on her skills. Raul was very professional and helpful at the front desk and recommended the best mall to go shopping and Alexandra (front desk) too offered a professional service.
There is not much to do in the San Agustin area but you can stay in the hotel and participate in the activities available or go swimming. Please note that the extra costs in the hotel are quite pricey e.g you have to pay to use the Sauna and Steam room which should be free like in other 5 star hotels and if you want to hire a room for an hour or so it is very expensive too, even if you are staying there.
